Hidden Assassin - Book I

Rate this book
In this action novel, one of the top expert killers, tired of endless assassinations and having survived a cruel and suppressed life, decides to escape the world’s strictest assassin organization.

A chance comes during one of the nights when the organization is least prepared, and he flees. However, he discovers that the night he chose to escape was the same night the organization had sent out many experts and ability type users to capture a phoenix, weakened by its rebirth. Eventually, surrounded and knowing that his situation was hopeless, he desperately shoots at the ability user blocking his way. This helps the phoenix break out of the encirclement, so the phoenix grants him his one and only wish – freedom.

The assassin’s soul is sent back to his ten-year-old self. He wakes up at a point in time that allows him to drastically change his fate – he kills the two assassins that picked him up and brought him to the organization in his past life.

Thus, he began a brand new life – trying to blend into the crowd; trying to hide his sharp instincts and deadly skills.

Two naive little girls and one experienced boy living together, and filling their days with warm memories of childhood… But will they be able to continue enjoying an uneventful life?

Hard pass on this one. This feels as if it were sent through google translator and then then someone with 5th grade English skills tried to do a sanity check on it. There are a slew of grammar errors throughout the entire story that makes it extremely jarring to read. The story as well as the intent of this book are very well through out and an interesting set up for what the butterfly effect could do. However, the execution of this book in general leaves a LOT to be desired.

Awesome story!

I greatly enjoyed reading this well written book. The characters were a bit flat but not enough to restrict my enjoyment.

Good Read

I've read this book a number of times. The story is engaging and fast-paced.
Would really like to read the next books in the series, but I can't find them anywhere. The characters are well developed, and the story doesn't jump around very often. Really wish there were more books in the series that I could find.
