Dan Kruger, a newly rehab'd private investigator, has taken what was supposed to be a simple message job from a fellow rehabber about the return of some property. Nothing was as simple as it seemed. I did not think I would like the story about the struggles of an addict as he solves the puzzle of radical animal rights and families but I found it hard to put down. Not a conventional American middle class portrait.
