Geology is a fascinating subject, and very practical in application. However in college I struggled with being able to regurgitate the evolutionary theories we were required to learn. Not that I didn't appreciate learning the theories, but alternative viewpoints were not always well received or welcomed. Hence the 4 star rating (instead of 5 which this subject and text deserves).
