This is my first view of overeating from a biblical perspective. It is an interesting one. I've been reading and implementing this plan for only two days now and it is hard but not as hard as I thought it would be. All the health gurus these days say eat 5 small meals per day in order to lose weight. Eating only twice per day seems abnormal but I'm willing to trust God on this. Hampton's writing style is straightforward and cool, not fanciful or deeply expressive. Overall, this is a good book and I'll practice the concepts presented here for at least 30 days before I say yea or nay.

Advice is dated with the author stating to eat only two meals a day. It was written in 1984 so I don't know if she would still say the same thing today...... However, it is interesting to read about dieting and eating from a biblical perspective. Interesting thought to ask myself if I love a certain food or God more when I am struggling with a craving - might try that!
