The Biker's Virgin is a stand alone novel by a new to me author that I wanted to try out and when I saw this book as a freebie from a friend from Goodreads, I knew I had to pick it up and since I was in the mood for something gritty like a MC romance, I thought why not...lets try a new author and I enjoyed it quite a bit. This would be a new adult MC romance ---and I don't think I have ever read a MC romance with characters in their early twenties, normally they are a bit more mature so I had a fun time with this one.
Our story begins with dual POV and so we see both sides of the hero and the heroine. The characters that we have in this story are:
Olivia -21 years old, takes classes at the local conservatory and developing her talent with the cello but has a yearning to be wild and free
Blaine-24 years old, a member of the local MC and he has only known the life of a MC since the club raised him when his parents died when he was young.
In The Biker's Virgin Olivia is training and working hard to be a professional celloist. She loves classical music but her life has been her music. She was never social in high school and felt shy. She is a virgin and has never really known a man's touch. Olivia doesn't look at herself as attractive, just dull and boring. But she has her first taste of temptation when she runs into Blaine at a gas station who who is a gentleman even though he has the "bad boy" appeal about him.
Blaine, was raised by the MC and its the only life he has ever known and he couldn't imagine a life any different...at least until he meets a girl that is way too good for the likes of him. He knows he isn't worthy of her, but when Blaine and Olivia keep bumping into each other, they start to realize that the attraction they feel isn't something you feel everyday and decide to take a risk and a chance on each other. Despite the fact that they are polar opposites from each other, they also have their own journeys of life they are persuing. Blaine is in a complicated mess with his club. Olivia is working on her music and discovering new ways to explore herself while playing a band that is run by her father's friend.
I had a fun time with this book and I just swept my way through this charming story. I won't say that this was a super memorable story, but it was quite a fun diversion from reality. Its not your average MC either, it didn't quite have the gritty feel that I was expecting from a MC romance. I would put this under New Adult genre in romance because of the ages that the two main characters are in, they are both younger so I thought it would make sense to put them there. And the book does have a more "youthful" feel to it that I have come to relate to New Adult that you don't normally see in a Contemporary romance.
This story was so sweet and endearing and the heat was pretty light for a MC romance. Normally the sex is normally super explicit /graphic but I didn't find it the case with this one. I think what I loved was seeing the heroine's journey with her music and seeing these two find a balance with her dreams and his life with the MC...and they do find the HEA they deserve.
Blurb: She's way too innocent for me - I would ruin her.

A very well written book with great storyline and plot. I really liked the characters and how they are described and develops through the story. There is a lot of chemistry, passion, love, lust and emotions. The twists are not suspected but gives more to the story. It is fast paced in the beginning but that suits the story. The characters are so different that they should not fit each other but they do. They are total opposites but that makes them a great team. Olivia is a 21 year young woman with very little life experience. She loves and lives for her music. When life crashes on her she takes actions and starts living. Blaine is the biker that wants to get out of it and have a life with the one he loves. The biker life is not him anymore and the roughness of it is getting to much. This story has drama, action, passion, lust, hot scenes, love and emotions in it. The story is written in dual POV and gives the reader much more of the feelings and thoughts of the main characters in this way. It flows well of the pages and leaves the reader on the edge at times. It is an emotional story with twists. There are insta-love and attraction between the main characters. Their chemistry is hot and strong. They struggle a lot to get it all to work out. I would have like the ending to been less confusing. Amazingly well written with great use of the words. I can only recommend this book.
***I voluntarily read this ARC to gives an honest review***
Olivia was a cello virtuoso, living at home with her dad. Her sister, Maddie, was a college student. Blaine was an MC member and had grown up in that lifestyle since the demise of his parents. One day as Olivia was at the gas station trying to get gas enough to go to her cello lesson, a smart alec guy on a small bike pulled into the station, took the hose from her tank and began to pump gas into his tank. Blaine saw it and had a few words with the guy, took the hose and filled up Olivia's tank and sent her on her way. Both Olivia and Blaine felt that they had missed an opportunity because they didn't know how to contact the other. While having lunch with Maddie, Blaine walks into the restaurant with one of the biker babes. Noticing how her sister was looking at him, Maddie spoke and introduced herself and Olivia. At least now they knew their names. The start of a strange sometimes estranged romance. A great read! I loved it A. J.!
I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed the love story between Olivia and Blaine. Olivia was a naïve music student who spent most of her time playing her cello and practicing for an audition for the orchestra. When Olivia starts to play in a band with Steve, a hippy friend of her father, she starts to play a blend of classical and rock music. Steve is a farmer who also supplies the local MC in weed and when Blaine sees Olivia playing there, he tries to find a way to see her again. Blaine knows Olivia is too good for him but he wants her anyways. Olivia is attracted to Blaine, but thinks she is over her head with him. Olivia asks her sister for advice and Maddie tries to help her. Olivia also starts to come out of her shell and stand up for herself. I liked this story. I thought Blaine was better than he thought he was and I thought he really loved Olivia. I enjoyed watching Olivia find her happiness and take some control of herself. Good one.
The Bikers Virgin Must Read. Olivia is at college majoring in classical music focusing on the cello. She was marked as a prodigy as a child so basically is a loner. Olivia’s Dream is to play for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She is innocent and a naive Virgin. She meets Blaine a biker in the Torver Chapter MC club. As a youngster he was taken in by the MC when his father died and his mother abandoned him. He is Senior In the club but is now tired of the lifestyle. I really enjoyed this short read the storyline was well written a fantastic romance. Will Blaine leave the MC? Will Olivia follow her dreams with the Orchestra? This is my honest review of an ARC I received.
I’m such a sucker for a bad boy/virgin romance and AJ Winter provides a pretty great rendition of the trope with The Biker’s Virgin. I liked Olivia and Blaine’s meetcute at the gas station. The side characters were also a real treat. Lots of fun, goofy people for Olivia and Blaine to ping off of. I felt the book ended pretty abruptly but that might be because i was only at 49% when i hit “THE END”. This book comes with A LOT of excerpt material which i personally don’t care for but i know it’s a big draw for others. You definitely get your money’s with with this one. Enjoyed this one very much.
Talk about suspense, surprises and drama - this book has it all. It will grab your attention right at the beginning and take you on an emotional roller coaster. A virgin and a biker AKA motor cycle member/criminal. He's not into relationships and women have been a dime a dozen to him. He has a night with her, leaves her and something happens. No spoiler here, but this is a great read that you will enjoy. Well written with complex characters and an engaging story line. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Olivia meets Blaine at a gas station when he comes to her rescue from a douche. She thinks he's good looking but figured she'll never see him again. She goes out to lunch with her sister, Maddie, and sees him with a girl. Maddie knows that Olivia wants to talk to Blaine but is nervous about doing so. Maddie takes things into her own hands and they get to talking. Things get a little wild from there and the story just zooms by. It's the usual ups and downs that make up a romance novel before Olivia and Blaine get their HEA, but it's worth the trip.
I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book. A.J., I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book. It was sexy! It was sweet! Blaine is amazing! Olivia is insecure. Blaine is the oh so bad biker boy! Olivia is the straight laced musician. Can they ever meet somewhere in the middle and make a go of it? I don't want to give anything away, so no spoilers. Please, let's have MORE Blaine and Olivia! Pretty Please!
Loved it. She is innocent and hasn't had much life experience. He is a biker with an MC. They have a night together and he leaves so he doesn't corrupt her. But he finds out something happened that night and he should have stuck around. I enjoyed this one. It is exciting, suspenseful, emotional, fun and so much more. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
The Biker's Virgin: A Brass Bonds MC Romance is my first book from author AJ Wynters but it'll not be my last. This's the story of bad boy Blaine, a sexy biker and Olivia, a virgin cello virtuoso who wants to play for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A great story line, fast pace and full of drama, action, suspense, passion, hot scenes and romance. I enjoyed reading it!Love MC Romances.
I liked this book. I liked Blaine and Olivia. Their story was unique. I felt like the ending wasn't wire complete but that is a normal thing for me. I am a greedy reader. Happy reading! Rating 4 stars
She lived a sheltered life. The only thing she knew was the Cello. He was abandoned at 4 and was raised by the Brass Bonds. They were a most unlikely couple. You just can't stop love. Fast action biker romance.
Sister tells her to swallow.Where did that scene go?All talk,no action.Typical biker, thinks with his fists.First read, last read. Spice it up a little!!
Your going to just love this one. Two very different souls that just lit each other up. I loved their struggles to blend their world's that had no business together.
I couldn’t get into the story as the writing style was not for me. The H felt childish for his age to me and the club felt more like a gang then anything.
This is a whirlwind of a love story. The characters are likeable. When two people fall in love from different MC’s it gets messy. Meghan gives a brilliant performance.
A riveting read: A lovely story of true love with elements of suspense and action. This is about a virgin, the good girl, Liv who meets Blaine, a biker and a bad boy. This read kept me turning the pages. There is plenty of chemistry between the main characters and some really hot scenes. A really enjoyable and fast-paced story with lots of twists and turns and a satisfying resolution. I received this ARC as a gift and I am voluntarily submitting this review.
I enjoyed Blaine & Olivia's story. It was different then most other mc books I've read. Great book. I'm voluntarily leaving a review for a copy of the book.
