Everything Series Everything To Me Everything I Need Everything To Lose
In the beginning I had so much faith in Dominc and Haze relationship. They had the one thing that 90% of relationship don't have today. They had a true friendship. As time went on, I begin to lose faith in what they had, I didn't think they would hold up. I begin to see Haze giving into so much for Dominc happiness. Now don't get me wrong, Dominc is that nihh! It's just... It seems like that could cause problems further down the line. Jordan love Imauni with everything in him, he just didn't have the patience to compete against her lifestyle. Well... He basically refused to try and make it work. Imauni, tired of Jordan excuses of why they couldn't be couple finally threw the towel in. If she couldn't have Jordan the way she deserved to have him, she rather not have him at all. Jordan is no fool and when he saw another man putting a smile on Imauni's face, that was something he couldn't see himself living through. Deciding to go with his heart, Jordan went and got his lady. The last thing in Melaina and Darien's mind was what people thought of them as a couple. Yeah Melaina's didn't give her the best bragging right, but her past didn't matter to Darien. Yet when a tragedy hit, Darien left Melaina to deal with it on her own. True he was also hurting, but his ways in trying to deal with it was selfish. Now he realizes the wrong he has done to Melaina and will do anything to get her back. He has one problem, no matter what he tries, Melaina can't seem to forgive him for the way he betrayed her. 4* I really love the simplicity in this author's work. I love the life - like characters and the real conversations between them. I love the light touch of humor. I love how her characters find love. This author just gained a new reader. I will definitely be following this author because I fell in love with her work.
Everything I Need is the second book in the Everything Trilogy by A.C. Taylor, with each book focusing on each of the three main couples of the story, highlimg their individual relationships--including all of the trials that they each encounter in their relationships, along with all of the sweet, sensual moments. The first book in this series, Everything to Me was focused on the primary couple Haze and Dominic, while this particular book (book # 2 is centered on Imauni and Jordan's relationship and while it was quite scintintillating at times, I personally liked the humor in Book #1, as I felt that in comparison to Haze, Imauni seemed comparatively less and sassy than Haze and at times, a bit needy in the way than she'd often pressure Jordan to commit to her exclusively--especially, in the beginning, which felt rather unattractive to me, even as a reader. But overall, it was a very refreshing story that was full of surprises on nearly every page! I highly recommend the Everything series by A.C. Taylor to anyone who enjoys a good romance, and I look forward to reading the third book in this series!!
Jordan and Imauni were so cute together. It was crazy how they lived together but we're not together as a couple. I loved Jordan but I didn't see why he wouldn't fully commit to Imauni in the beginning. He was being so selfish. It took her possibly being with someone else for him to realize how important Imauni was to him and how he could really lose her.. I'm happy they worked things out. I liked Adonis. He seemed like a great guy I can't help but wonder if he will get his own book soon. I enjoyed reading this book AC!!!
I enjoyed reading the story about Imauni and Jordan. It did keep my emotions going because of how they handled their relationship but I loved how things worked out for them.
This is truly a 5 star book. I enjoyed Imauni and Jordan's story. Their on again off again relationship is something I think we all go through at times. Love how Dominic & Haze were brought in. Looking forward to Melania story. Keep up the great work!
Although I loved this story as is...apart of me wanted Imauni with Adonis. So please tell me he will get his own story!!! Please! Love the story line...super big fan of Jordan and Imauni as a couple!
I Really enjoyed reading Jordan and Imauni's love story. Jordan didn't want to accept Imauni's dancing career to be in a relationship with her but still wanted the benefits of being in a relationship. Imauni got tired of that and ended everything and even moved out ceasing all communication. Jordan went ballistic when it seemed like Imauni was moving on with Adonis and manned up real quick. I love how Dominic and Haze was woven in the book as Dominic and Jordan being best friends and Melaina and Imauni being best friends. I knew eventually Darien, who is Dominic's brother, was going to come to Melaina because he actually has feelings for her regardless of his mom being against their relationship. I wonder who actually released their sex tape and lied about her having an abortion rather than having a miscarriage. I can't wait to see what happens next.
There was just too much going on for me, a lot of drama with secondary characters. I thought the main characters were both immature. I found myself rooting for Adonis more than anyone because he was the most mature out of anyone but he just happened to be into Imauni. I started skimming the book after awhile just to see what would happen with Melaina, I wasn’t into Jordan and Imauni as a couple at all. Of course the book ended right when Melaina and her ex saw each other and we do not know what happened, I’m guessing it’ll be the next book. I’m also not a fan of established couples which is another reason why I probably didn’t enjoy it.
Definitely enjoyed book 2 of A. C. Taylor’s, ‘Everything’ series. Imauni and Jordan’s story had me on edge from beginning to end. Adonis totally surprised me, but not as much as Melaina. Wow 😲 if someone had told me before reading book two that I would see her in a different light, I would have laughed my behind off thinking they had lost their mind; the true talents of a gifted writer can do that though. Hopefully Darien and Melaina’s story is next. I think I’m a Melaina advocate now, 😝 T
This was an enjoyable read and we get to see a little bit more of the characters lives.I loved that you get to see into the insecurities that fall upon couples. The writer handles this with quite a bit of style.I love this Adonis character just totally sexy,I would love a story for him.Now the ending I wasn't so happy with ,it was like someone just hit the stop button. But overall this was just such a good story and a really good next installment in what I hope turns into a series.
So... I am not sure how to exactly feel about this book. I do that Jordan was stubborn and maybe scared. But I don't care how Imauni did him. For someone in love she sure didn't acrlt like 2 days later with Adonis. So I didn't care too much for the characters or how it all went down. I think that they both should have moved on and maybe tried again later. But hey... I didn't write this story.
I was ready for this story, and not ready at the same time. Jordan and his hardhead had me wanting to snap his neck. Adonis was just doing what a single man does. He goes after what he wants. Then Imauni's bad decisions had me in my feelings. I wanted them to stop playing.... Now I need Melaina and Darien to have some act-right.... 5 stars...
Ok A.C. Taylor I'm loving this series this my first series of your I read. What I love the most is I can actually read this series with out a cliffhanger. So in saying all of that you just got yourself a new fan. Now I have to catch up on what I missed of your work. Keep the Love flowing girl.
Imauni and Jordan were giving me the blues with all their back and forth but one thing is for sure, they truly loved each other. I’m so glad they came to their senses before it was too late. Now we need a book on Darien and Melaina, who I wanted to hate but came around to understand in this book. We also need one on Blake.
I loved this story. The fact that the situation wasn't perfect or ideal but they made it work. Jordan out here setting all kind of book bae goals. I love the subtle mentioning of Donestic Violence with Blake's storyline. Adonis has never extremely intrigued. As always, thank you for your dopeness AC!
I enjoyed this installment in this series much better than the first one. The characters, even Melania who was in the first book, were written with more depth than before. I was able to feel the struggle between Imauni and Jordan to find the place where they are comfortable in their relationship.
How old were these people? They were very immature! She had a man that wanted her but she couldn't be with him because she wanted to be with the man who didn't! I was a little disappointed that Immauni didn't end up with Adonis! He was the most mature one of them all! Be new not to pursue someone who's heart isn't it! I can't wait to read Malaina's story!
I loved this story. I loved the dynamics between Jordan and Imanui. Blake and Cordell were a mess. Melania and Darien ommmmgggggg I need to know what happens. Haze and Dominic yasssssss loved them. Adonis he was interesting wanna hear more about him. Awesome story.
Jordan and Imauni were a great couple. I'm glad Jordan realized that it takes work and effort from tge both of them to make it work. I think Melania and Blake need a book. Even though it seems like years you did a great job.
Me. Taylor does it again. Great story. This couple was just so back and forth. They didn't know what they wanted. I need a book on Adonis. I like him. I also need a book on Blake. Good read.
I absolutely loved Jordan and Imauni. For Jordan to get out of his own way and become what she needed and give so selflessly was awesome. I was also happy to see more of Haze and Dominic. Now I’m ready for Melainia and Darien’s book.
I love stories, but love stories just do something to me. The interaction between these characters, the storyline, the breathtaking moments were neverending. I can't wait for the book in this series.
Everything would have been solved if Jordan wasn't so selfish and stubborn. Did he really think the way his relationship was going with Imauni that everything was ok. Glad he finally understood his errors. And really be there for Imauni.
Wow! That was some journey that Jordan had to take in order to solidify his and Imauni's love for each other. I was actually worried for a moment seeing that Adonis had what it took for Imauni to fall for and show some serious passion for someone other than Jordan - whew!
I don't know if I were Jordan I could rush back into things with Imauni after Adonis. She was kinda foul for playing games like that. I'm glad they got their happily ever after though.
