Catronia Wilde and Avery Dawson couldn’t be more different. She’s fanciful, flirty, and fun, while he’s stubborn, shrewd, and too sexy for his own good. After a few steamy dates, Catronia heard wedding bells, while Avery heard tumblers of a lock imprisoning him in marriage. The one thing he promised himself he’d never do.

When Cat opens her new age shop, the Mystic Heart across the street from the Pump House, Avery’s microbrewery pub, the town of Heartbreak, Alaska start taking bets on who will fold first.

But all bets are off when you add in two conspiring fathers on a mission to get their children settled and producing the grandchildren they’ve always longed for.

The Wilde family patriarch is determined to see all six of his kids married with grandchildren. With help from his cronies they have no problem playing matchmaker with their kids. Cat had a few dates with Avery, years ago, but fears of making his father's mistakes ruined that chance. A few fumbled run ins and interfering dads gave these two the right push for another chance. Each book has a new couple, a Wilde child, and can be read independently of the others. I was given an early copy by the author and wrote this review voluntarily.

There is enough heat in this book to melt all the snow and ice in Heartbreak Alaska. It is to bad they had to fight it for so long! I just love this book. I can’t wait for book 3. Great job Tiffinie!

Tiffanie Helmer writes about sexy men and gorgeous women. She writes about love and relationships. She writes (in this series) about meddling fathers who are tired of their sons and daughters being unable to commit when the fathers know they are well suited and ready for love. She writes about mistakes people make and how hard it can be to admit you're wrong. And she writes about Alaska.

Read any of Tiffanie Helmer's and you are going to want to take your next vacation in Alaska. She makes the locations of her books come alive and her readers are going to want to spend a week or two in Alaska soaking in the beauty and splendor.

Avery and Cat had one date two years ago, after which he avoided her like the plague and she paraded all her dates into his bar to drive him crazy. His father visits her father and together they hatch a plan to get Avery to realize Cat is the only woman for him. Of course, it never really works when your parents get involved and these fathers are not James Bond, although they certainly are worthy of their own love stories.

I have read many (most) of the books by this author (The Edge being my personal favorite) and I have never been disappointed.

Alaska is heating up!

With the second book in the Heartbreak series we find the "Grandchildren , now if you please! " Scheming Dad Jack up to his tricks and teeming up with another Dad Hank.
For the past two years the Dads have watched these two pass each other like a comet passing the planet in a near miss after near miss. But no more! Jack and Hank know they meant for each other. So let the fun begin because seriously what's a pair of dads to do when they have stubborn children to do? Set up a collision of two stubborn souls and watch the fireworks
Cat tempting Avery at every turn and Avery just as determined to run from her. Thrown together at every turn . How long can they hold out .

What do you get when you put two matchmaking meddling fathers up against their obstinate children who can't see their true love right in front of them? An uproarious story about love and family. The story has it all humor, a great story line, it's set in Alaska and the heat level between the two love struck children is off the charts!!!!! Can't wait for the next Wild child to be in the cross-hairs of cupids arrow! You know after Wild Sr. gets all his children married off it would serve him right if Bullwinkle puts him in his sights! Just saying... This is a great feel good series that will leave you wanting more. These are complete stories with HEAs. Thank You Ms. Helmer for that.

Avery and Cat dated two years ago until things almost went all the way. He put a stop to it and stopped seeing her leaving her hurt and bewildered. She's spent the last two years trying to figure out what she did wrong. Their fathers play match makers forcing them to spend time together which heats things up. Avery says he'll never marry and he dumped Cat because she's the marrying kind. Now it's time to figure out if they have a future since neither one has been able to move on. This is a short romance with just enough heat.

Second book in the Wild Heart series was superb. Loved the tension between Avery and Catronia (Cat). Their second chance to get love right was rocky but worth the trip. Cat and Avery’s dads got involved and some of Cat’s siblings. Always makes a love story great when families have such a close bond. Cat opening her own business adds to her strong and determined personality. Another great book by Tiffinie Helmer. Not so patiently waiting for book three in this series April 29th.

Avery Dawson and Catriona Wilde had dated a few times and the sparks flew, hot enough to scare off Avery. Everyone in town can see they belong together, so why aren’t they? Why did Avery swear off marriage and why can’t Cat figure out what went wrong between them? It’s going to take some scheming fathers to get to the bottom of this and get these two together again. A delightful and fun weekend read, Wild Cat is the second book in Tiffinie Helmer’s new series in Heartbreak, Alaska.

I just love Tiffinie Helmer's books. Wild Cat is fantastic. Avery and Cat almost burn the pages with their oh so hot intense chemistry. They were dating and he broke up with her, even though he was madly in love because to marry was something he never would do. Their fathers' connived and put a plan in motion to get them back together. Avery and Cat drove each other crazy! You just have to read this book, in fact, any of Tiffinie's books. All are too great to miss.

Still so in love with this series and this characters. Tiffinie has done a wonderful job developing all the characters in this series and the storyline is complete with no cliffc hangers. Can't wait for the resst of the kids' stories. The melding dad's are great also.

I'm so glad she's back!

Tiffinie Helmer is a multi-talented and amazing person! One of those talents entails writing adventurous romance novels, most of which use Alaska as a background. Although I have never been there, I feel as if I know Alaska from her fabulous tales. I LOVE this new series and hope it lasts a long, long time.

This is the second book in the Alaska Wild Nights series and it features Cat and Avery. It’s been two years since he broke her heart. Now, he wants her back, but he won’t marry her. Dawson men aren’t marriage material, lol. Will cat and Avery’s dads get their way or will they be disappointed? Grab your copy and see what happens in this second chance romance.

Great Story, Matchmaking Dad's

Another one bites the dust. A commitment was something he never wanted and she deserved more then a booty call relationship. And she made that very clear to him.

Ms. Helmer uses her Heartbreak, Alaska setting for another entertaining story: a light quick read but a fun one nonetheless.

**** For whatever reason it won't let me add stars to my review, but never mind now here goes. I have been a fan of Tiffinie Helmer for a long time now, and I have jet to be disappointed by any of her books. This one is no exception, the only negative thing I have to say is that after reading any of her books I want to immediately move to Alaska, because she always paints such a vibrant picture of the state. Still working on my husband on that one. But back to the story, I loved the characters, especially the meddling Fathers who are playing matchmaker, and the storyline is fun and quick moving with some sexual tension and plenty of romance. What I also like that there is no fake drama but everything that happens is very relatable and I am a sucker for a happy ending. Very entertaining read and I can't wait to get started on the next installment.
