Return of the Killer Comets💫

Once upon a time in 1698, two early astronomers found two comets headed towards earth. One comet was following the other, but the lagging comet appeared to be gaining on the leading one. The two scientists determined they would pass near the earth🌍then go around the sun and back out into space. They determined when the comets returned hundreds of years later, they might be fused and might hit the 🌎Earth causing massive damage. OUCH!
One scientist tries to inform the 👑King about the comets and is hanged as a heretic. The other scientist keeps his mouth shut........

Al is a modern day scientist and his computer picks up a blob that suddenly appeared on screen. None of the other scientists can verify whether or not it's a comet. Al is sure its,a comet and he's certain it's heading towards the 🌎Earth! OUCH!

ARC Received from HG for a Voluntary and Honest Review.
I also got the book📑 with KU.

Interesting science fiction book📑 which is quite serious in its possible and even probable speculation about the 🌎Earth eventually colliding with a large comet💫.
The various character's speech is somewhat stilted and odd, but I didn't let it deter me from reading the book📑.
