Found Family Expansion Pack
On the whole, this is a solid 4-star series. I like that the characters' personalities and backgrounds vary greatly. I also love the found family they create. Some of them come from wonderful families that are frequently around, but it's still wonderful to have that extra love and support.
One of the best parts, though, is the kids. They are fierce, funny, and amazing little people. Bella is possibly the most entertaining of them. She's quite the spitfire! 🤣🤣 Of course, some of them get their stories in the spin-off series. 🥳
I have the audio as well as the book. Each recording is done by a different set of narrators, making it easy to binge if that's your preference, and I liked them all. 🎧❤️🎧

Fighting for a Second Chance 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Stranger in a Club
Liam (Cooper, Coop, The Rage) Cooper and Lizbeth "Liz" Browning have quite the story. How it begins is fun, sweet, and hot and sweaty. From there, there are some predictable follies, random cases of insanity, and some interesting side stories that I'm sure will come to light and resolution as the series progresses. The ending... that is classic and completely adorable!
To be honest, Cooper gets a second, third, and fourth chance. It makes for a bit of whiplash and needs a metric ton of ox-eye daisies to work through. After the thoughtful gifts he gave her when they first met, I expected a lot more sweetness from him, not the tortured soul that appeared.
Even so, when he's not falling pray to the teachings of a bitter man, he proves to be the kind of father he should've had and a good partner for Liz. If only his jealousy and failure to see the truth don't get the best of him....
The real star of the show is Bella. She's as precocious as any four-year-old should be. Cute, funny, a subject matter expert on all things princess related, and frequently testing boundaries.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Lexi Evans and Tim Paige, are great choices for these characters. I liked them so much!

Fighting with Faith 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Believing in Love
First, there are a ton of spoilers for Fighting for a Second Chance. A 💩 ton. If you haven't read it, it's a good book and reading it before this is recommended.
Kayla Peterson has got some serious baggage compliments of her parents. I like that we get to see where it starts and how it morphs and grows even as I shake my head at her parents' lack of emotional connection to each other and their children.
On the flip side, Bentley Cruz has the patience of a saint. He's easy to like and when Kayla lets him in, he really steps up.
I love when things between them combust in pleasurable ways. ❤️ They definitely have great chemistry when outside forces don't get in the way.
I absolutely LOVE Bentley's mom, Kathleen, his dad is no slouch either, but the way Kathleen just accepts Kayla and Bentley's other friends with open arms, making sure they all know parental love is awesome. They both prove again and again that they're there to support in any way they can. I love that!
I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Auri Alden and Theo Sinclair. I really liked both. They were each easy to listen to.

Fighting for Your Touch 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Trauma and Healing
From the beginning of the series, we've seen Caleb Michaels struggle with relationships, especially where females are concerned. I knew something bad happened, but I wasn't prepared for just how bad it was. If you have triggers related to sexual assault, proceed with caution. Things are off-screen but that doesn't diminish the impact.
Fast forward several years. I really feel for Hayley Roberts. Having a crush on someone that you have great chemistry with but he gives off serious keep away vibes bites.
I love when Caleb starts to put trust in her and lets himself feel. Sure, he has setbacks, but it's to be expected.
The way they both are with Marco is sweet and endearing. I love how quickly their friends and family welcome into their lives. 🥹🩵
I read along with the audio book. One thing that I really like about Nikki's audio books is that she uses different narrators for each book in the series, making it easy to binge if you so desire. In this case, the narrators are Lexi Evans and Vincent Skye, both of whom I enjoyed. 🎧

Fighting for Your Love 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - In Over Their Heads
The drama, the debt collectors and loan sharks, the cute as hell kids, and the intentional knock up come together to create an entertaining read. There are parts that made me *grrr* but I laughed at Kaden Scott and Ashley Myers more than I growled. 😁
Speaking of loan sharks, the fact that Giovanni comes across as such a sweetheart belies how he and Ashley cross paths. I do love the dichotomy.
Kaden is a real turd when he disappears like he does. When the chips are down, he proves to be there for her, but his prior actions are too easily forgiven, IMO.
Despite his random bouts of idiocy and her extreme stubbornness about asking for and accepting help, which I get but when a child is part of the equation, propriety and independence have no place, I still enjoyed this book. The sweet and silly moments, the strong friendships, amazing family, and some serious heat make this worth reading.
OK, so... this is a standalone, but there are a lot of spoilers. If there's a chance that you'll read the series, reading in order is recommended.
I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Christian Leatherman and Heather Costa. They are great for their respective primary character and easy to listen to. I do wish this were duet narration though.
I will admit that I love that different narrators are used for each book in the series. It makes it aseries that's easy to binge!

Ashley comes out of the kitchen frowning down at her phone and then looks up at me folding the clothes and smiles. I love that smile. I would do anything to keep it on her face.

5 Stars for Each Book!! 😍😍
Book 1
Oh my! I knew I would love this series and to start off with such a bang was amazing!! I love reading from this talented author!!
Liz is the typical high school graduate who decides to go for one last party before college and gets a huge surprise! I really love how everything progressed and even with so much going on, I fell for each character hard. Liz is an epic woman and becomes even stronger than she already was at the beginning. Her friendship with Kayla is inspiring and something I’m sure everyone aspires to be like.
Cooper turns out to be nothing like I thought he would be and in some ways not for the better. I really loved how Liz and Cooper met but several times I wanted to slap one or both. He turns out to be this incredible guy you only dream about meeting and just makes you swoon each time he talks.
I put off reading this series because I needed time to dedicate to them and boy am I enjoying every moment!! So many shocking things happen I never thought I would see and can’t wait for more!!
Book 2
Goodness I knew this one would be so freaking good!! I had to pause this book for a bit but I kept thinking about Bentley and Kayla and needed more but had priorities.
Oh man was Kayla so much more than I thought and the poor thing being so broken. I grew fiercely angry every time she talked about her mom or every time her mom opened her mouth. I just wanted to slap her so hard and block them from Kayla so she wouldn’t be so messed up. I knew I loved her in book one but nothing really prepared me for the firecracker she would be in book two.
Bentley….. oh Bentley!! I think I’ve loved him from the beginning. He just seemed to be all in already. Like way faster than Cooper was in book one and that made me swoon harder than I’ve swooned in a long time. He seemed so determined and I ached for him at times!
So many emotions with this one from me. I felt all consumed by this book and couldn’t help cry along with everyone and even cry in other parts. With my mom being gone I love reading about special moments with moms and Bentley’s mom is a special one that had me crying hard. Such beautiful words!! Loved it!!
Book 3
Goodness… if I thought I was obsessed before I must be stalker like obsessed now!! I was so curious about Caleb and Hayley and needed to know what the heck was going on so I read as much as I could, as fast as I could!!
Hayley seemed like a genuine woman and one who would be loyal and fun and just the all around woman to have an epic relationship. Her heart is so big and the things she goes through are incredibly intense!! Caleb has gone through even more and I can’t even imagine surviving the stuff he did. I wanted to cry for him so much and the connection he shares with Marco is unreal!
I couldn’t help but fall in love with this book!! So many emotions overwhelmed me and I was crying often. Some good happy cries but I also had a few sad cries! I really enjoyed getting to know all these characters so much!
Book 4
Obsessed with these friends!!! Such great writing from this author again!! I was hooked and I’m still so hooked I’m going to look up the others!!
Ashley has always been a mystery to me but my goodness was she in a pickle!! The tension between her Kaden was so suffocating I wanted to explode! I knew there was so much more to her and I love the way she was a mom, now did I love all the other stuff…nope. I hated the way she kept so much to herself and while in the end I knew why she did it but man I just wanted to jump in my book and just take what Kaden has and fix all of Ashley’s problems!! Kadens reveal (FINALLY) was making me go crazy from not know the full story! I kept thinking so many things and when I finally got answers I wanted to scream since I finally knew about what all went down. I am in awe of him and I loved how he was always Ashley’s friend no matter what! It was so beautiful to watch how Kaden reacted to Ashley and her late night.
I loved this story and all the others!! I am very much in love with all of them!! It was great!!

Oh man was Kayla so much more than I thought and the poor thing being so broken. I grew fiercely angry every time she talked about her mom or every time her mom opened her mouth. I just wanted to slap her so hard and block them from Kayla so she wouldn’t be so messed up. I knew I loved her in book one but nothing really prepared me for the firecracker she would be in book two.
Bentley….. oh Bentley!! I think I’ve loved him from the beginning. He just seemed to be all in already. Like way faster than Cooper was in book one and that made me swoon harder than I’ve swooned in a long time. He seemed so determined and I ached for him at times!
So many emotions with this one from me. I felt all consumed by this book and couldn’t help cry along with everyone and even cry in other parts. With my mom being gone I love reading about special moments with moms and Bentley’s mom is a special one that had me crying hard. Such beautiful words!! Loved it!!
Book 3
Goodness… if I thought I was obsessed before I must be stalker like obsessed now!! I was so curious about Caleb and Hayley and needed to know what the heck was going on so I read as much as I could, as fast as I could!!
Hayley seemed like a genuine woman and one who would be loyal and fun and just the all around woman to have an epic relationship. Her heart is so big and the things she goes through are incredibly intense!! Caleb has gone through even more and I can’t even imagine surviving the stuff he did. I wanted to cry for him so much and the connection he shares with Marco is unreal!
I couldn’t help but fall in love with this book!! So many emotions overwhelmed me and I was crying often. Some good happy cries but I also had a few sad cries! I really enjoyed getting to know all these characters so much!
Book 4
Obsessed with these friends!!! Such great writing from this author again!! I was hooked and I’m still so hooked I’m going to look up the others!!
Ashley has always been a mystery to me but my goodness was she in a pickle!! The tension between her Kaden was so suffocating I wanted to explode! I knew there was so much more to her and I love the way she was a mom, now did I love all the other stuff…nope. I hated the way she kept so much to herself and while in the end I knew why she did it but man I just wanted to jump in my book and just take what Kaden has and fix all of Ashley’s problems!! Kadens reveal (FINALLY) was making me go crazy from not know the full story! I kept thinking so many things and when I finally got answers I wanted to scream since I finally knew about what all went down. I am in awe of him and I loved how he was always Ashley’s friend no matter what! It was so beautiful to watch how Kaden reacted to Ashley and her late night.
I loved this story and all the others!! I am very much in love with all of them!! It was great!!

Fighting For A Second Chance:
I absolutely adored this second chance romance! The only question I'm asking myself, is how did it take me this long to read it! I loved all the characters, and the storyline was phenomenal. I'm so looking forward to continuing this series!
Fighting With Faith:
I am absolutely loving this series! I love the authors writing, and how immersed in the story you become. The characters feel like friends not just characters, the storyline is excellent and keeps your interest from start to finish. After the extended epilogue, I'm dying to start the third story!
Fighting For Your Touch:
Oh my goodness, this is my favorite of the series! More emotional and raw then the previous stories, I was hooked from page one! I absolutely adored Caleb and knew his story would be heartbreaking, but to watch him overcome and heal was amazing!

Let's talk about Nikki Ash! Cause hot damn this series!!! The entire Fighting series is absolutely amazing! So much so that i binged it!! The books that started my obsession with Nikki! If she writes it I'm going to read it!! I read this series in like 2 days because I could not stop!!! & I'm not sure I got anything done! The characters from beginning to end are absolutely amazing! This series is about a group of fighters that are fighting for more than just a title! Each book comes with a different fight, all the emotions (Nikki really knows how to pull out all of them) & so much freaking growth from all the characters! Can not wait to buy these trophies to have on my shelf!

I switched back & forth between the eBook and the audiobook—both formats are professionally produced/ formatted and perfect on that end.
It was cute, especially the 5-year-old character brought to life by great narrators, I loved the characters and I look forward to reading on in this world. I absolutely need Kayla’s book after the glimpses this one revealed—so well played.

Paired with a frustratingly broken hero, it definitely packs some angst. Both keep their past secret, so neither understands quite why the other is the way they are.

I already liked this author based on other series and standalones so I wasn't surprised when I fell for these characters and these stories and didn't want to leave their world. The four main couples grab your attention and make you so engaged and invested in their story. Add in all the side characters and kids and friends and it elevates it even more. I already finished the Christmas epilogue and the three spinoff audiobooks with the kids and I am happy to see more from them so I don't have to say goodbye yet.
I am normally not a huge pregnancy trope girly but this author might have converted me after all. I loved the second chances the author weaves into almost all of these 4 stories. The kids in the audiobooks always steal the show, the feistiness or Bella, the adorable moments from Tristan, the vulnerability from Marco and then the rest as they come into their lives just add to this amazing family. I love the different personalities. I liked Liz and her book obsession and giving Cooper crap for his antics, Kayla and her insecurities and overcoming them, Hayley and her selflessness, and Ashley and her fight/not giving up for her son. The boys were even better in some instances! Cooper might have been frustrating with his off the handle moments but the way he thought about gifts and making memories with Liz and Bella was amazing. Bentley was so intuitive and wanted to provide everything ad be there for Kayla and Faith (love the stay at home dad). Caleb has so much to overcome, especially with touch and trusting women, but he looks out for Marco and his family, along with Hayley (loved the adopted family part of this story). Kaden had I think the most heartache and he needed a kick to the butt but despite all that he always wanted to be there for Ashley and be her bestie, and the way he treated Tristan like his own from the very beginning. So adorable!
And the steam between these characters! Sometimes it was FTB and that was annoying but the way the author did give us amazing scenes and moments with each of them was fantastic. The dynamics weren't the same for each. I liked that some had some slight Dom tendencies, wanting to control things in the bedroom (yes pleaaaaase). I loved the heartwarming moments just as much. The proposals, weddings, pregnancy announcements, babies birth, the small things like date night and little thoughtful presents and actions. This makes me want a book boyfriend to be real haha but they don't make them like that anymore hahaha. Authors making our expectations for our partners even higher!
Solid 4/5 stars for this series and audiobooks. Make sure you read the Christmas novella and the spinoffs, you will like them just as much as the original 4 book series <3

Loved it .
You know when you read one of those stories and the characters stay in your head even when you're not reading it- this is one of those. Every story in this box set is different but you 're reading about the same characters the whole story grows and just envelopes you more and more. Every one is a great standalone but reading them one after the other is so much better. All the heroes are hot which always helps ! . The heroines are strong and sweet and totally have you rooting for them too. Loved the way the families grew together too.

Boring and written by a teen
I only got a third of the way through the first book but it was all very predictable and anti-climatic. They never stay mad at each other for more than a few paragraphs.

I love this whole series. They are all such close friends that turned into family. I loved seeing each couple get their happily ever after.
