Toni knows what it means to make mistakes. She has experienced firsthand how walking down the wrong path can send life spiraling out of control. Fortunately, she had someone in her life to pull her from the gutter and help set things right again. As penance for her past, she pledges to suppress her baser desires and focus on finding a steady, dependable connection with a man, even if that means embracing a boring lifestyle.
Zach is anything but dull. As Enforcer for the Hell's Handlers MC, he embodies the outlaw lifestyle, rife with violence, women, and motorcycles. When Toni moves next door, Zach can't resist the possibility of a quick, hot, fling. He discovers, however, that she's not the easy conquest he's used to.
While Zach works to convince Toni she belongs in his bed, a tenuous relationship with a local gang blows up and threatens his MC family. Zach's world is turned upside down when he's unable to keep the danger from touching his club. As Toni fights to resist Zach's pull, her own peace is shattered by demons from her past. With enemies both old and new barreling down, Toni throws out her rules and turns to Zach for aid.
Before she can help it, Toni finds herself entrenched in Zach's outlaw world. Is it possible for her to curb her desires, or is she doomed to repeat the mistakes of her past?
None of it will matter if Zach can't keep the enemies at bay.
Zach oh my Zach he is everything a girl wants in a man. He is a bada$$ biker, hot as hell man dripping with sexiness and very protective over his family and his club.
Zach comes home one day to see his next door neighbors daughter. She has come home for her parents funeral. Once Zach realizes who she is he goes over to offer his condolences and when he sees her he knows he has to have her in his bed just once. A taste of the neighbors daughter who he remembers always watching him when he was growing up but could never say anything to him because her parents were afraid of bikers.
Toni is in town for a short time just long enough for the funeral and to sell the family diner. But things change when she goes into the diner and remembers how she was raised in this diner. The more time she stays in the diner the more she wants to move back and keep the diner.
Then Toni and Zach get together and she decides to have a summer of fun and then go back to her life but what happens is anything but that. When trouble comes knocking on Toni's door Zach is determined to keep her safe and make her his Old Lady. As the trouble heats up and Toni gets hurt Zach is determined to rain down hell on this gang.
Can Zach save Toni in time before she is destroyed and hurt?
Zach is full of MC drama. It has all the right ingredient. Instant lust, damsel in distress heroine, over the top cheesy drama/ plot, arrogant hero. It has that bad boy vibe that falling for damsel in distress heroine.
I do like the dirty talk from Zach himself. It is hot. Aside from that, I do not know what else attract my attention. I read too many MC books that have similar plot. I miss having a very good MC romance book.
Overall this is OK book. Not bad but not great either.
Well, what can I say other that Lilly Atlas has started off the Hell's Handlers Series with a Five Star read for me. This book had everything, a Hot as Hell biker that can melt his strong as nails woman with just a few words, a rival gang that doesn't know they're messing with the wrong person, a soon to be ex that Toni finds out was more than just a dud in bed, and a ton of secondary characters that have me wanting more, more, more!!!!
I am not going to give any spoilers because honestly where is the fun in that, you need to read the book, or in this case listen to it like I did, and find out what happens. I will say that the narration of Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard is phenomenal, is like cat nip to my ears. Sexy, Sultry, and oh so smooth, yes they really work well together.
Maverick's book is up next and I really can't wait to see how his story plays out. I was hoping it would have to do with a certain woman we hear about but never actually meet and it does! So I am super excited. I not only recommend reading this book I recommend listening to it as well, the narration really adds another layer to the story and immerses you into it so you feel as if you are there with them as the events are unfolding. Happy Reading!!!

Toni had been Zach's neighbor as a child, given her ultra conservative parents they didn't have much interactions at all. As a teen Toni rebelled against her strict parents and ended up with a gangbanger. She was quickly consumed by the lifestyle and began using alcohol and drugs and was shared by her boyfriend with the higher ups of his gang. Her uncle found her and took her away from that lifestyle and she changed her life around. When her parents die she inherits the family diner and moves back home temporarily to sort matters out. Her boyfriend accompanies her but pretty soon Toni realizes that suppressing her natural desires and settling for what she thinks are the right kind of men isn't working for her anymore.
Zach is the enforcer of the Hell's Handlers. Toni had been his neighbor growing up and when she moved back to town his sexy little neighbor caught Zach's eye. Realizing she's attracted to him too, Zach decides that a couple weeks hookup with To I may be just what he needs to come out of his recent restlessness. Gangbangers however bring trouble to his mc and Zach as enforcer is kept busy knocking heads and delivering messages until his best friend is taken and his woman's horrific past sheds the light they needed to find him.
I enjoyed this one for the most part. Though we know Zach has had his fair share of women including club Honey's he never cheated or even thought about straying from Toni. With how busy he was it actually took a while before they even got together but he was all about her. He's a typical cocky, bossy, protective biker but he also had some sweet and definitely some sexy moments. All in all I liked him.
Toni broke up with her boyfriend because she realized the conservative suit wearing man she thought she needed wasn't for her. Because of the decisions she made as a teen she's suppressed her sexual desire all her adult life and is determined to stay away from the bad boy type Zach personified. She pushed him away for most of the book but really given her past I couldn't really blame her. When we get the actual info about her teen rebellion via a sex tape with her and multiple partners I cringed. It was pretty tough reading through the stuff she did in a misguided attempt to make her parents pay attention to her but I admired how she was able to turn her life around with the help of her uncles.
The mc drama took up quite a bit of the book and though it was well written it was a bit predictable. Secondary characters were likeable enough and we get an idea for at least two other couples for later on.
OM drama I the form of the ex who wanted Toni back not out of a great love but to help him advance St her uncle's law firm. With the help of Zach's bat her was convinced to slink back to the gutter he came out of.
I'm not a fan of mcs being labelled badasses and then failing to deliver. Having Toni be the one to kill the bad guy was all well and good but I needed to see the guys show that they were as badass as I was led to believe
All in all I'm happy I took a chance on this author. If I had a choice I'd read mc books daily but finding safe ones can be tough. This one thankfully gave me just enough biker lifestyle without the usual OW dramas. Moving on to the next.
Zach was the first book in Lilly Atlas’ new series, Hell’s Handlers MC. I’m a huge Atlas fan and this new series was no different.
Zach was the Enforcer for the Hell’s Handlers MC in Townsend, TN, which was nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. He was gorgeous, confident, brash, arrogant and uber protective. The club was the only thing and everything to him.
Toni went back to Townsend for the first time in years when her estranged parents died unexpectedly and left her their house and Diner. She was only back for a few weeks until she could sell both and then get back to her conservative and straight laced Chicago life. She never expected to develop a friendship and fling with her next door neighbor, the bad boy biker.
I loved the suspenseful storyline that focused on the MC challenges but then meshed into Toni’s life as well. I also loved the characters. They were strong, snarky, independent and fun. Actually I loved everything about the book, except the editing errors. Unfortunately, there were more than my liking. Without those, it was a definite five star.
All in all, it was a great start to a new MC series. It set the stage for many wonderful stories and I can’t wait to dive in further. Next up is Maverick.
4.5 stars (and really it’s only not a solid five because there was a couple scenes that I felt got shorted and could have done with more depth)
An MC series is always up my alley and this one is apparently no exception. The handlers were an interesting group, from the jump being way more about one another and that made family vibe then i get sometimes from other MC book crews. The brotherhood vibe was strong and it worked for me big time.
Toni and Zack were an interesting as shit pair too and I liked watching their bond grow. There were some of the scenes though I wished for a little more depth. Still over all it was an amazing read and I will continue with the series.
I loved this book. So much humor I would giggle so hard. And just the right amount of suspense. And Zach sweet baby Jesus that man is sex on wheels. And Toni was the perfect heroine.
I love finding new MC series to sink into and I am happy to be getting in on the ground floor of this one. It moved along quickly and introduced a whole host of new bikers and women I would love to find out more about.
While well written and engaging, what I enjoyed most about this book was that it wasn’t a love story where the main character happened to ride a bike. It was an introduction to a club where I got to experience a romance as well. A hot and dirty one, which makes it even better. But it told the story of Zach and Toni’s attraction to one another in the gritty world of violence and structure and sexy outlaw bikers. It set a scene for me in a little place in Tennessee and a small-town diner where I could almost feel the motorcycle boots stomping across the floor and hear the revving of the engines. And I loved Toni and Zach. I rooted against her resolve to stay away from him and cheered for him to overcome her protests.
Surprisingly though, with Zach’s role of club enforcer and the brutal acts that were committed by both the Hells Handlers and the rival gangs, this book did not have a dark feel to it for me. Yes, it dealt with serious issues, violence and past secrets, and no, it wasn’t a sweet and light read. Yet it didn’t feel burdensome or gloomy or require me to take a breather after finishing it. Maybe it was the little things interspersed throughout that surprised me to have it come out of a biker’s mouth. Like calling someone a dork. Or how Zach got his road name. But every once in a while there was something that would seem incongruous with the MC world and it would lightened the story for me.
Overall, it was entertaining and I truly enjoyed myself.

Overall 4 out of 5 stars Performance 4 out of 5 stars Story 3 out of 5 stars
Zach was entertaining, but there was most certainly a difference with this new series of outlaw bikers. There was an intensity while at the same time a tameness. Toni was a woman with a past. A past that was not welcoming or kind to her. She also had parents that were no only distant but elitist. She rebelled as a child and became reserved as an adult. We open this one with Zach and his entrance to full membership as a Hell's Handler. Zach the enforcer for the MC ushers us in to the current time and place with a sexy neighbor back in town and trouble coming in to their territory.
This one had some very interesting secondary characters. There are certainly other stories you want to see come from this series. You may not fall head over heels in love with Zach and Toni but you will find that the series will give you an interesting ride in the club and the small town they inhabit.
Narrators Noah Michael and Erin makes this one an experience. They work very well together allowing for this audio to flow with clarity. The cadence and harmony the two of them bring together makes this a must listen to. The duo makes you feel like you are truly a part of the world you are listening to. The way they blend both male and female is perfect. There was no male trying to sound feminine and no female trying to sound masculine.
Re-Read: 09/25/22 4.4 stars. So good. I love Toni and Zach together. They’re just the perfect balance for each other.
I had a spectacular time rereading this book. I love that their ‘thing’ is watching the sunset together in different places. So fucking sweet.
The sex, the plot, the revenge, the family feels that are just rampant…all of it was so so good.
Please, for the love of god, check T/CWs. This book deals with a lot of trauma and abuse and none of the books in this series or even by this author are for the faint of heart.
I am really loving this series and Zach and Toni's story was quite a enjoyable read.
For me Toni made this story as that girl was a piece of work as she made me laugh through the entire story and I just love that.
Toni was my favorite character she just was a lot of fun and a spitfire, feisty, strong minded and I love how she always spoke her mind and never seemed to back down from anything.
Toni made some bad choices in her past but , now she is a changed women but, the bad girl still lurks below the surface wanting to surface and feel the fire yet again. Toni is resilient and tough as nails and she not going down without a fight. This is what I loved about her the most.I love Toni from the onset of the story as underneath the rough exterior their lies a very loving and caring women with the heart of gold and protective of those she loves.I really admired her for the changes she made to her life and how she tried very hard to move on from her past in a positive way.
I loved Zach as well with his flirty personality and his sense of humor. Zach was a lot of fun and a Hottie to boot!
I loved the cast of characters overall they were really fun and enjoyable.
I really loved the story as Toni and Zach were perfect for each other they had amazing chemistry and both chasing ghosts of their pasts making them have common ground. The romance part of the story super sweet with the cat and mouse game they played between them as it made them really slow things down and really get to know one another which made their interactions fun and flirty and had us smiling and chuckling more that once.
The plot was suspenseful and easy flowing and a nice easy enjoyable read to pass the time and I really loved it and read it one sitting.
Sense discovering MC romance and loving it Lily's books have made it into our list of favorite MC authors.
I really liked this book a lot and cannot wait to get more of the rest of the boys stories in this MC...... Zach, I really, really liked a lot but yet felt like I didn't get to truly "know" him completely. I would have liked a little bit more of him if that makes sense because what I did know was great! I know this is a continuing series so assume I will see more and more of him and Toni:)
So on to Toni, ok, so I liked her, I did but I have to be honest and say she annoyed me to for mnost of the book. I truly got tired of the mixed feelings I got as the reader. On the inside she was so into Zach and yet on the outside it was like she was a tease and the way she handled herself with him at one point during the story, so NOT cool!!!! I was a bit miffed at her most of the book personally, her see saw attitude was a turn off and Zach deserved better. On the other hand she didn;t annoy me so much that I hated them together if that also makes sense. She just needed to get her head out of her ass and "woman" up, lol. All in all they did make a great couple! Did I want more at the end, hell yes but again since this is a continuing series I am assuming I will get more of their relationship progression as the series goes on. I do understand too about the ending, they hadn't been "together" all that long so yes, they are still getting to know each other and yes, by the end they had come leaps and bounds together.
I cannot wait for the next book on Maverick and of course, the mysterious girl he kept asking about........sounds like it's going to be awesome!!!!!
All in all a very good book with great secondary characters as well as an action packed storyline! The writing was very good, very solid and the story flowed smoothly throughout!

Unfortunately this book didn’t work out for me - within the first few chapters I decided I didn’t much like the Hero or heroine. Toni (h) has come back to her hometown after her parents death (she was estranged from them) and she has a boyfriend who is with her at the funeral & a bit after but he needs to go back to Chicago. The neighbour , Zach, who is the Hero , sets his sights on her & decides to test the waters. There is a scene where Zach goes to her house in spite of the fact he can see her with a guy in her garden , and he is really bold in his pursuit of her in front of the boyfriend. Except he’s now the ex boyfriend because she dumped him literally moments before Zach rocked up. So the now ex is reeling and sad from being dumped and the H/h are making eyes at each other and flirting. I did speed read on a bit but I think my heart wasn’t in it. This is just my personal feeling. Lots of great reviews so don’t let my review put you off - plus I didn’t read the whole book so maybe everyone is redeemed. I am not awarding any stars because I have not read the whole book . This will not stop me reading this author’s other work as I usually really enjoy her novels.

How this book gets such a high rating is kind of beyond me. I'll try to breifly explain why. Sure, the sex scenes were good. Dirty talk, not rushed and all, but.
1) Because it's a biker club, women are basically treated like play toys unless they magically get picked to be an "ol' lady" ? Honeys? Club whores? Having sex in front of everyone during parties? It's a biker club for God's sake. A litttle bit of respect. Just because these guys ride bikes(yeah, guys, because apparently they don't have women riding bikes there) doesn't mean they are supposed to disrespect women the way they were doing.
2) Predictable story with a rushed ending for the whole big problem they had. Came, got caught, boom boom finished.
3) Again, predictable story for the main sotry, and the less important story (Chris).
All in all, I don't get why it was so amazing. Me, man, will protect my woman at any cost. Me, woman, will do what my man tells me to because he is so big and strong and he has a bat naed Louie. That's a no from me.
The h was an old lady for a year to a real asshole. Her ex liked to share her with his MC members. So they gangbanged her. She wanted to please him, thought it is love, so she let it happen and was a druggie most of the time until her uncle rescued her..... Her second boyfriend blackmailed her, was a douche, and a total boring lover, he criticised her outfit and manners, called her a slut, but she wanted a normal relationship, so she tolerated him. The last one, the H in this book is the club enforcerer and loves to brake bones with a bat called Louie......? After reading two beautifully written slow-burn-love books, I couldn't stand it here, that the two MCs were like horny rabbits 70% of the story..... "wet panties" , every second page....😒😒I wonder how I finished this book at all???😏😏

Wow what a great book!!! I've had this on my TBR list for a bit and kept skipping over it thinking something else would probably be better... Oh no no no. I started this and it just took off right from the get go. It's really a great book and can't wait to start the second one... It's already set to start as soon as I finish this if you love MC books along with the big alpha male who has a really sweet side for one very important lady in his life then load this book and get to reading.
This is the first book in a new MC series that I am going to be all over waiting on bated breath for the next books to come out. As the kick-off book we meet a lot of characters who all have these large personalities and a close brotherhood. As we meet Zach we see how serious getting into this MC is and since his inception the role that he takes on.
Kind of tired of the same old, Zach, the club's enforcer becomes restless and then his neighbor's daughter appears back in Tennessee to take care of her parent's estate. Toni is a hot ticket. She is trying to live a nice normal, and boring life. She has a not so great track record with bad-boys so she picks the preppy and missionary one's. She is just home to sell her parent's restaurant and house and go back to her normal life in Chicago. She doesn't quite expect to feel so at home and welcomed and completely overwhelmed by her sexy neighbor.
There is a lot of sexual tension between Zach and Toni, but he is looking to scratch and itch and she is not looking for anything that is dangerous or rides a motorcycle. There is also some serious trouble coming for the MC which divides all of the men's attention. Toni's character was easy to like, she has some serious baggage and personal growth that she needs to work through. Zach is just...sigh. He is larger than life but sweet and caring. He's a guy who thinks to take pictures of what someone is missing, while at the same time bashing someone's knees.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and really cannot wait to read about the rest of these bikers. I can't say there was anyone who doesn't intrigue me in some way. This book had a little bit of all of my favorite things; suspense that had me holding my breath, heat that had me fanning myself, heart that made me all gooey inside and story line that kept me hooked.
I liked it, it was entertaining. I did have to skip a bunch of abuse related passages, but overall I liked : - the strong heroine with a survivor past -the gay uncle and his husband - the H, who managed to not be a huge asshole (which is rare in Mc books) -the suspense and vilains - the secondary characters I am not rating it higher because I have read qimilar stories like that before.
I gotta say : the next book sounds really intriguing based on the 1st chapter shared at the end :)
I enjoyed this MC romance. It was the first time I have ever read one and I liked it. Toni is a girl that has had some bad things happen to her and when her uncle helps her she kind of vows never to have it happen again. She is smart, witty and funny. She is fun loving but reserved also. She is never sure if what she likes will send her on the path leading to destructive behavior. She moves back to her old home after her parents pass away and takes over the family business of a diner. She does some revamping and it works to her advantage.
Zach has lived next door to Toni and her family all his life. After Toni comes back to town Zach can't help but full the pull from Toni. He is newly initiated into the MC family and is a protector. He quickly gets Toni to rethink her current relationship and start one with him. These two have a sizzling romance that you don't want to miss out on.
Once these two get together and break down their walls and let each other in, it's a sweet story, of course, there are some plot twists to keep you going in between the steamy scenes. You won't want to miss this sexy read! These two are great together.
I totally enjoyed the narrators and loved their voices, it worked really well for the book.
I give this book 4 of 5 stars!
I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Lilly Atlas. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.
The story of redeemed bad girl Toni who returns to her hometown to sell her parents business after they pass away and meets her neighbour, MC enforcer Zach.
This book was ok. I guess. I am not really into the whole MC genre so far so that might account for my apathy over this story.
I think Zach’s whole, ‘I’m coming over to have sex with you... in a week’ thing kind of tweaked my wince button. Toni’s breathless acceptance of this when she was supposedly trying to move away from her lascivious past made me find her a bit weak. I wanted more resistance from her!
Also, I found the way that she got home and instantly decided to dress differently and throw off her city persona a bit too quick. I wanted more of a slow transformation. I wanted to be with her on her journey of self-discovery where she slowly learns that she can be herself yet still be in control. But no, it just happened too quickly.
But it was an OK read with a little bit of drama thrown in. I liked her gay uncle. I thought her ex was a bit of an exaggerated villain though. I’m in two minds about continuing with this story.
This was my first read by Lilly Atlas and I loved it. It had a well written and engaging plot. So much so I’ve already downloaded Maverick, the second book in the series. It’s also a steamy read with 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥hotness flames
I have never read Lilly Atlas but man what a story. I LOVED Zach. Not only is he a wonderful alpha man, but his MC is a great group of men and I can not wait to see where she takes them.
Tori is a strong woman and she is a great woman for Zach, she doesn't take crap from Zach or any of the MC. She has had a terrible history and it shows now. She is a woman that has to deal with the past to go forward, and Zach is just the person to help her.
Lilly deals with some heavy stuff in this book, and to be honest I was really surprised. I have read a lot of MC books and read some heavy things, but this one was hard, but I really enjoyed the storyline. I am excited for the next one. Mav should be really exciting after what he went through.
