I really enjoyed this book. Was an exciting, fast moving story with a lot of twists and turns. It is about a hand surgeon who learns of a group that falsifies EMRs (electronic medical records) and bilks insurance companies out of millions of dollars by falsely charging for tests, surgeries, etc... The main character learns of this group known as The Cooperative when his coworker and friend has his fingers cut off because he discovered the fraud this group was committing. The story includes some romance, and the main character, VJ, is quite a hoot and a daredevil. Very enjoyable read. I read this book as Dr. Brown performed hand surgery on me a million years ago.

It was a good read. The dialogue was a little confusing at times but I think this is his first writing. I thought the story line was intriguing. Anytime a book can keep me up reading late I have to give it a thumbs up.
