Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean you’re wrong…

Kathy is jumping at shadows and scaring old ladies walking their dogs. She hasn’t slept for weeks and her nerves are raw. How had things gotten so out of control? Of all the people in the world, why her? All she wants is to go back to her ordinary life where she isn’t afraid to answer her door or pick up her phone. Where she isn’t someone’s prey.

Will she stand up to the woman who torments her? Can she muster the nerve to fight back and regain her life? And how far will she go to finally find peace again?

In the Wrong Mind is psychological horror story written in the tradition of the Twilight Zone. If you like stories with unexpected twists and that little sneaky creep factor, then this short story is for you.

This is a short read, one you could probably read during your lunch hour. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, and I am so glad I was. It is an intense edge-of-the-seat suspense story about young woman Cathy who believes she has a stalker and she's so spooked she's jumping at the slightest sound and at shadows. This is a tale that will grab you from the start and hold you in suspense till the very end. I could easily see how this could be the first story of many for a great short story collection. I really enjoyed it, and I know you will too. Check it out for a great read!

A tidbit of Horror

A tidbit of horror that left me wanting more. “In the Wrong Mind” starts as a well written story of stalking and turns into something else, with an interesting twist that comes too soon. I wanted more.

What a great little short story. It was a race from beginning to end, I couldn't stop reading.
It's more difficult to write a compelling, and satisfying, short than a full scale novel but the author pulled it off brilliantly.
Bravo! 5 stars!!

Great short story. Quick and intense read. Characters on point. Anita Rodgers captures the emotion of a relentless stalker and infuses the fallout through the challenged mind of the stalked.
