“Really Irv? It’s that simple?”
“I’m sorry, Tatiana. The only thing I gained from this relationship is some of that good good. I never should’ve made you my wife. Besides, she’s giving me the one thing you never could.”
“And what would that be?”
“It don’t even matter. Look, Ima be real honest with you. Her love is like a brand new Bentley Coupe and your love’s like a Bentley that’s been used. You just don’t cut it anymore, ma.”
That was the conversation that resounded in Tatiana’s mind every day as she slumbered in her room, not willing to come out for anybody. A day that she considered to be one of the best days of her life, quickly turned into a nightmare that she couldn’t stop reliving.
Irv was the typical ladies’ man. Even marriage couldn’t take him away from his “playa” mentality. He was always one to think he could have his cake and eat it too, which is why he was so quick to give up his marriage for what he considered the “next best thing”. However, not being one to not have things his way, he gives Tatiana a proposition he doesn’t think she can refuse.
Trust is, Tatiana would go to the end of the earth for Irv, but could his betrayal be her breaking point? Will she be able to bounce back after such a detrimental heart break? Will Irv finally get put in his place?

Okay!
It was apparent that this book could have benefited by a more experienced editor; the storyline was actually not bad but could have been better.
It is a shame that women put up with men like Irv just to say they are married or in a relationship. The time and energy spent on these "no good" men, is time wasted not building yourself up to be the woman you need to be for yourself!!! As for the best friend sleeping with the husband, she was NEVER your friend if she can lay down with your man and he should no longer be your husband!
I'm really have not decided if I want to read the sequel ... so many mistakes takes away from the flow of the story.

This book was okay
Omg, Irv was doing way too much. He was so disrespectful towards Tatiana. Tatiana was stupid to me. You have a husband who clearly doesn't care for you and you still want him. Then you are willing to destroy and walk away from something that was rightfully yours. I just didn't get it. Cierra was a snake in the grass type of friend. She deserved a good butt whooping. To me this book was okay. I will be reading part two bc I'm curious about what is going to happen after the discovery at the end of this book.

I hope the rest of the series is written better than this. The book didn't make sense. I hate starting something and not finishing it, but the errors are making me want to stop right here. It seems like it was proofread. Irv must have a golden love parts the way these women carrying on.

Irv thought he was the greatest gift to women. I don't like him and the way he treated Tatiana. I hope she take him for everything and move on with her life. With friends like Ciara who needs enemies. With that ending i hope Dre put his hands on Irv
