I thought this was a really fun issue! I like the concept of this a lot. If I had to pick, the horse story was my favorite of the two shown.

I love Anthony Bourdain. I’ve even really enjoyed some of his fiction. And I love the premise of this series. But alas the format is just too short to fully flesh out the spooky stories which results in a just marginal read.

Not as good as the first issue. The art in the first story was excellent and the story had promise, but there was a lot of squicky animal stuff and the ending wasn't strong enough to make up for it. The second story was just stupid.

I like the premise, but i think the format is too short for 2 stories in a single issue. I think 1 story could be fleshed out better and make for a more compelling horror story.

Loved it! Very entertaining. This is a highly recommended read for foodies, avid fans of the late Anthony Bourdain, and foodies who love reading manga. The artwork exhibits the horror/suspense-thriller vibe that put me on the edge of my seat and I found it hard to put it down. Read through all Hungry Ghosts books with so much enthusiasm, I had to get all books in one hardbound collection. 5 stars. Will copy this review for the other Hungry Ghosts books.
