This is a great book for both ESL teachers and content teachers. It explains the different instruction needed in mainstream-content classrooms and in ESL classrooms. Each has its own chapter with strategies and activities that are clearly explained. I think this is a great book not only gain a better understanding but to get practical and effective activities to implement in your classroom right away.
Great book, would highly recommend for anyone who teaches ELL students! It is geared towards high-school, but even as an Elementary ELL teacher there were many things that were great! I would love for every teacher in my building to read this book!
This book is a must. If you wish to reach ALL learners in your classroom, grab this book and get started! She writes with an oral tone and gives ideas you can immediately use without adding to your already overflowing teacher plate.
