I read the first book in this series because it was offered free on Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. Enough so that I read the next 2 books to complete the series. The book was based on true characters and events. The last book didn't have as much history, but completed the story of the family.
Totally enjoyed this series and learned a great deal about the settling of Australia. A must read if you want to know how Australia grew to include large cities and a vast tourist trade.
