Writing a book about true Bigfoot encounters that weren't covered in a ton of media already wasn't an easy task, and I'm happy to proclaim mission accomplished. I'm sure you'll enjoy my presentation of these peoples terrifying Bigfoot experiences, as I poured my heart and soul into each and every word, something I'm sure you'll feel by the time you turn the last page.
I took great care for this book to feel like a journey, not just across space but time as well. From ghost towns in the Wild West that hold dark secrets, to the deep woods of Khairup and the coldness of the Antarctic, one message rings true; No matter where you are, there's always a chance. Always a chance...
This book is definitely what the title claims, new stories I've never heard of and I read a great many Bigfoot books. These are fascinating tales from around the world and throughout different time frames. Unusual and not what you would expect. Well written and very entertaining, the author has definitely done his research in finding these gems. Definitely worth your while. I hope he published more encounter stories.
The first story about Antarctica lacks a prologue and immediately launches into a series of supposed Russian transmissions of mysterious events. The absence of more background information doesn’t give much credibility so I stopped reading and DNF.
Fairly well written short book. I did enjoy the not often heard stories however, they were just that; stories that didn't really have any true basis. Mostly hearsay except one that was based on a Russian incident in the polar Antarctic. After quite a bit of further research, I could not locate any basis for concluding the story was factual. But, who knows, maybe he has a better inside angle! Dr. Google left me dry. Altogether, good read, short read, will read more.
This book did have some pretty good stories about Bigfoot that I’ve not read before. It’s not your usual Bigfoot tales. So I enjoyed reading this book. I gave it four stars and not five simply because it wasn’t the best I’ve read but it is definitely worth reading.
One of the most unique and interesting compilation of Bigfoot encounters I have ever read!. These stories will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will not be able to put this book down!!!. I highly recommend it!.
Sullivan has written a most interesting and important book on the subject of Sasquatch. Drawing from arcane files he has brought stories to light, which previously were unknown. A important contribution to the lexicon.
The stories were interesting. Whether or not there was any truth to them is up for grabs. They'd be impossible to verify, as they conveniently take place deep in Siberia or Slovenia or the mountains of Pakistan.. There's nothing about where these stories come from,, so I have to assume they're made up. Several involve captured Bigfoot ir slaughtering of humans by Bigfoots.
In a way, it's sad that anyone can just write a book like this, full if unfounded claims and wild stories that make Bigfoot sound vicious, when we really don't know.
But if you're just looking for some "out there" stories, you would enjoy this. It's a very quick read.
This was okay but at times seemed kinda predictable. A couple stories were interesting but it seems in these stories Bigfoot is always angry. Why is there no physical proof that can be studied is Bigfoot territory etc. I believe there are Bigfoot and yet is but maybe an just needs to leave well enough alone
When I read a book I expect that there will be proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. This one had punctuation errors in it. I don’t want to be all school marm on it, but while I am a teacher, I expect that a published book would be edited. If not, how can I expect the content to be factually researched.
I thought I had heard everything about Bigfoot, until now. This book was hard to put down. I felt I was right there in the stories. The author delivered what he said. I recommend this book to anyone who is intrigued by the possibility of the existence of this creature. This book will not disappoint.
This book is very disappointing to say the least. It reads like a bunch of camp fire stories with little or no research to substantiate any of it. There's no recounting of actual incidents covered by law enforcement or newspaper accounts, much less actual eye witnesses.
This was a well compiled easy read full of never before told stories. I enjoyed it and recommend this book for those who believe in the possibility of bigfoot .
Cool stories, original, found in no other book I read
This group of stories aS intriguing... Different than many Bigfoot stories.. From Antarctica to the north pole, and a very strange story about captivity.
This book covered mostly Bigfoot tales in Europe. Only two stories from North America. Not worth it. I would look for a book that’s going to discuss Bigfoot in North America
The first chapters seemed like they had an editor, or at least a proofreader, but the last few chapters didn't seem to have been reviewed for cohesive or organized storytelling. Also, I read a LOT of bigfoot stories and these seem to stretch plausibility. If these accounts are indeed "True", a brief explanation of the source for each would provide more context and integrity.
