Fucking sickening content written by a fucking disturbing, sickening sex cult.

First knew of this fucked up cult via YouTube videos few years ago and never got to check out the book until now – as curiosity got the best of me when I came across the story of Ricky Rodriguez again this year.

The story of Davidito is about documenting the life of ‘Davidito’, real name Ricky Rodriguez, a former member of the sex 'religious' cult - Children of God, and victim of sexual and physical abuse inflected upon him by his own mother, David Berg (the cult leader and adoptive father) and many other of his 'nannies' - since he(Rodriguez) was just 18 months old.

Ricky killed one of his old nannies in a murder-suicide in 2005. Such a shame he never got to see his mom (Karen Zerby), could've ended her then and there too. His video where he denounces the cult members can be watched here.

Before this, the cult was already publishing shit they call ‘Mo Letters’ – publications written by David Berg that includes bible verses (to justify his teachings, obvs).
'Mo' stands for 'Moses'; 'Moses David' was the name that David Berg went by.
These Mo Letters weren’t to be shared to outsiders lest members get excommunicated.

**Heaven's Girl was a series of fictional writings and illustrations from the late 1980s compiled in book-form and written for children in The Family. The lead character, Marie Claire, was based on David Berg's granddaughter, Merry "Mene" Berg. The story was supposed to take place during the "Great Tribulation", prophecied by Berg to begin in 1989. Merry would have been in her mid teens at that time. This was taught to children as being the "true future".

The book, Heaven’s Girl (printed in April 1987), depicts a young, very scantily clad “Endtime prophetess” with supernatural powers. She was touted as a role model for children, and her exploits include giving sex freely to soldiers that were gang-raping her, and exchanging sex for

**David Berg criticized "man's laws" on rape and went so far as to equate rape with God's natural laws and express sympathy for jailed rapists. He romanticized primitive societies in which rape was not punished beyond a mere fine.
Here she is gang-raped by soldiers before being fed to lions and uses her rape as an opportunity to show "God's Love".

This is the type of shit we’re dealing with.

Nothing here seems to scream ‘child abuse’ at first- apart from the extensive, religiously documented early life of a young boy? Creepy. But then I've known some people who write everything that's happened to them in their daily journals.
To receive such a treatment, you'd think this child is either some science experiment and requires an extensive, formal laboratory report- or is the next coming of Christ.
It's the latter, as to the cult members, he was the divine prince - destined to lead the Children of God through the biblical end-time.
You wouldn’t know that there’s things much more sinister to come.

I’ll be quoting verses from the books that stood out to me.

Dividing his life story in ‘books’ akin to the Bible, you get to read about the sort of foods he ate, the sort of activities he was subjected to (regular baby stuff) to the little details of the habits and quirks he had as baby. This is obviously supplemented with exorbitant amounts of pictures of Rodriguez. This first ‘book’ is the documentation of the late stages of pregnancy and the birth of Rodriguez.

Pretty alright stuff, it seems.

But then you’ve got the parts of the book where it’s a child-rearing manual peppered with religious shit.

At this point it was starting to get skin-crawl inducing.

There is absolutely no understanding and sympathy for people who see children as beings capable of understanding sex – much less having sex!
These people are fucking repulsive. Using religion to rear in people who needed a reason to give into depravity and degeneracy. Proclamations in the cult that having sex is to have sex for Jesus, to Jesus and in Jesus’s name.
