With the hospital having kicked out this concuss man due to lack of space, Marisa; an emergency nurse, offered to take care of him until his memory came back.
She tried to keep him on bed rest, but he felt as her boyfriend, that he needed to cook, and as the days carried on she learned how skilled her guest was with a knife and bowl, for his cooking was to die for.
“This is not normal cooking, is it?”

However there was more to him than just food...

In public she cringed at the way her guest looked down on the less fortunate. He had no tolerance for those asking for assistance. “He looks capable enough to work,” he sneered with disgust.”
As a member of the Charity Angels, she felt obligated to help this scrooge of a man. The more she helped him, the more she uncovered his identity and felt guilty for keeping him.
Though with the New Year fast approaching...

Was too short. I could read these two forever. Love their story

I am just entering into H.L. Laffin's books, her Charity's Angels and this is a great start. The cover is beautiful and I love the title.
It is a short and easy read, and if you've ever dreamed of having a hot, accented chef then this is your book lol.
