The ineptly translated and formatted series continues, this time with the Kindle version set with the original Japanese page layouts, but the pages turning from left to right like a Western book to make it extra confusing!

Again, we have another volume of stupid stuff. Our heroes to the beach, we have babes in bikinis, and some obnoxious kids show up who, like Shin-chan, think its funny to take off their shorts and display their boyhoods. (Apparently the two kids are also highly flammable, as merely being touched by fire ignites their entire bodies.)

My favorite moment was probably when Sugako rides around on one shark while kicking another one. (Unfortunately, later one of the sharks is killed and cooked up as shark-fin soup.)

Oh, another moment I enjoyed was when Sugako and the main character Toru's dad get in a fight, Toru's dad shoots Sugako with a tranquilizer (because he is a vet who works in Africa for some reason).

So, yeah, non-stop stupidity again from start to finish. But if you like stupid stuff, the Kindle version is cheap, so at least there's that :)

Highly disturbing yet oddly fascinating (thx C. Foster Kane! KKZX ftw)

TRIGGER: BULLYING, CHILD ABUSE, PEDOPHILIA. I'm gonna say this right now. Putting a drawing of an under-developed teen girl (15 in age? Looks like she's 9?) On the 1st page, In a scandalous outfit with an arrow pointing at her that says "Lolita" is HOW NOT TO CREATE MANGA. Seriously, wtf is up with all the pedophile overtones in this series? Who the *!$#@&? Writes this stuff? Better yet, what is going through the head of the editor in charge of this offensive tripe? I REALLY regret buying this entire series up front. I guess I could ask for a refund. Not sure if I can return 12 books at once. So, even as bothered as I am, I will stick it through to the bloody end... bleh.

A touching volume that focused, this time, on other characters besides the two leads. It still kept that heart & comedy that this series has brought us so far.
