The Lost Man

Oh! What a story! Nerve wracking suspense that kept me reading. Liked Chris in spite of all the troubles. Better not say anymore and give away the ending. Well worth sitting up all night to finish.

It all begins when lost man, Chris Gable, a struggling has been hollywood hearthrob meets a friendly yet mysterious fan named Jack Webb. Once they become friends Chris's life begins to improve dramatically and all the obstacles that have been holding him back, human or otherwise began to magically disappear. At first Chris is thrilled, but then he begins to realize that often when things appear to be too good to be true, they are. Not since Patricia Highsmith's Mr. Ripley has there been a more darkly twisted, fascinating and clever sociopath than Jack Webb. "The Lost Man" is a real page turner and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good thriller that keeps you guessing until the very last page.The Lost Man
