Having uncovered the true identity of the new Oracle, W.I.T.C.H. and the former Oracle head to Kandrakar in an effort to free Elyon, return the Crown of Light to its rightful owner, and protect all of creation from this terrible threat. Things seldom go as smoothly as planned, though, and as things begin to unravel, can the girls survive their most important mission ever?

Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.
The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) (commonly referred to as Disney) is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world in terms of revenue. Founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt Disney and Roy Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, the company was reincorporated as Walt Disney Productions in 1929. Walt Disney Productions established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and travel. Taking on its current name in 1986, The Walt Disney Company expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theatre, radio, publishing, and online media. In addition, it has created new divisions of the company in order to market more mature content than it typically associates with its flagship family-oriented brands.
The company is best known for the products of its film studio, the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, today one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 11 theme parks around the world. On January 23, 2006, it was announced that Disney would purchase Pixar in an all-stock transaction worth $7.4 billion. The deal was finalized on May 5. On December 31, 2009, Disney Company acquired the Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4.24 billion. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.
Over half of this comic didn't seem to really have any story. I also remember having read this, so I guess this is around the place where I stopped reading - I know I've been saying this a lot, but this time I remember the story-line with the Jensen-girl and I remember being as annoyed with it back when as I am now. I can't tell you why, though.
One thing I know made me roll my eyes in this series, is how the authors seem to forget the original hobbies of the characters. I wish we could see some more of Taranee's photographing instead of her getting another hobby she's supposedly really good at - which I also have some trouble believing, because I used to dance myself and knew a lot of dancers. None of them had Taranee's personality. Her personality doesn't fit with dancing, I think. It would be better if they let maybe Irma be good at dancing, as she doesn't really have a hobby that we've gotten to know about. She's just random and all over the place. I would love if she was a good dancer naturally.
Anyway, art still there and I'm glad all the drama is over with, but overall I feel this album is missing something.
I think, if not for these books coming out all at a time (at least the arcs are published at the same time) I might have dropped reading around here as well. I feel like things have stopped a little at this point, you know? There need to happen something new and interesting to keep the interest going.
I think these are so cute! IT HAS ROMANCE IN IT AS WELL! Sorry I am in a romance book mode. This is 100% clean, and good for 8 and up! Sorry short review, I am in another book... and IT ALSO HAS ROMANCE!
Love this series so much, this volume really stuck out to me as while the core friendship of the main girls is still central we also get a better insight into all the sibling relationships which just feel so genuine. Also just the trials the girls go through in this one were so interesting to me
W.I.T.C.H, Orube and Himerish know the truth about Phobos and are ready to break into the Tower of Mists to free Elyon before all her power can be drained - but even if they can finally come together again, are they ready to face whatever terrible truths lay in Kandrakar? Gnone wraps up another tense and exciting arc with this intense entry that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. How long can the girls keep their mission a secret before Phobos catches on?
~quick thoughts~ • the art is arting • the guys' personalities are SERVING, I'm loving all the couples • truly the best arc so far, what a spectacular climax and conclusion
The Trial of the Oracle wraps up nicely here and we have about half a book of filler/set-up for the next arc. I thought the ending to the arc was great, really emphasizing teamwork and cleverness, and I definitely enjoyed the renewed focus on Elyon and the character growth of the Oracle. Even the filler stories are pretty good, as we haven't gotten to see the girls just living their normal life in a while (besides Will and Matt willfully and endlessly misunderstanding each other).
Speaking of Will and Matt, the book fakes us out with another possible misunderstanding before actually having them get along for a change. I'm pretty sure every scene with them together has at least one of the two thinking in their head all the things they can't bring themselves to say. So much so that I don't think they've ever really said much at all to each other. These two have the worst relationship.
Curious to see where the story goes from here. Looking forward to the next book!
It is the book of the final battle, this time in two stages. In parts 1 to 3, the resolution was half the book, there it took all volume 12. As I said for book 10, this arc is a radical change that tends towards a renewal, one that we were both afraid and eager to meet.
Then we talk a little more about the sands of time, which happens to be a very interesting new form of magic, while making reappear an enemy, like a character in Naruto: indestructible.. but it doesn’t surprise us anymore.
A new Heatherfield character is introduced at the end of the book, the lives of the five girls evolve completely, just as the Oracle decides not to be the one he was before. He seems to have become human.
Question of the Day: so far, which cover is your favorite?
Overall a solid arc, at times a bit frustrating (I forgot how much the girls are constantly fighting over nothing, same goes for Will and Matt), but I did really enjoy it! The story and character arc of the oracle is very well executed and comes to a very satisfying conclusion in this Volume. I also think it found a good balance between magical adventures and slice-of-life this time around!
In short, I'm still loving this reread - I'm now moving on to the comics that I got physically back when they came out and I'm embarrassingly stoked to do some mid-2000s girls magazine personality quizzes and read questionable articles about the "trendiest new bands" alongside the main story. 😎
I read this in one sitting. I felt it was the perfect blend between the problems in Kandrakar, woven with the problems in the girls daily lives. Also, I love how far the Oracle has come in these novels. I love the turn in his personality. The tough of lightheartedness in his speech, seeing the way he works so well with the girls. He has earned my respect to the utmost.
