On the heels of completing their latest mission, Lexi and Reece sense another werewolf hunting in the same area. One glance into his mind tells them that there is something very wrong with him. When a body is found in the woods nearby, their intuition is proven to be correct. The shifter has turned rogue and it is their job to hunt him down.
Mark relocates the Squad to their base in West Virginia. He begins digging into a series of deaths that have taken place during the past few years. It quickly becomes apparent that it wasn't an accident that they crossed paths with the unstable shifter.
When a camper mysteriously goes missing just a few hours away from their compound, Lexi and Reece are sent to investigate. Lexi has a feeling that Mark knows more about the rogue wolf than he is willing to admit. When their two missions unexpectedly collide, they are caught in a trap that could end up changing everything forever.
I began reading horror and paranormal books when most girls my age were still reading fairy stories. I always dreamed that one day I would be able to write stories that readers could become lost in.
The Mortis, Shifter Squad, Hellscourge and Fate's Warriors series are connected, but can be read as stand alone series. The overarching theme about Fate's chosen champions will come to an end with my fifth series; Loki's Exile.
My sixth series, Hunter Elite, begins a new saga with the seventh series, Half Fae Hunter, as a spin off.

I really do like this series so I picked up this one as soon as it was live on amazon. I truly feel sorry for Lexi she has had a lot to overcome since the start of this series and the hits just keep coming. Lexi thinking her and Reece are headed in the right direction she gets another kick in the teeth and they become more distant than ever, I may have rooted for this couple from the start but I am thinking we may need another love interest to shake things up a bit. I don't mean the nutter stalking her in this book but maybe a shifter on loan from another team or something just someone to either make Reece see what he is going to loose or take his place. Call me sentimental but I think Lexi could use some happy other than that the series is great can't wait for the next one.
These books tear me up!! Can't wait to get my hands on the next one!!!
Lexi and Reece set out to take down a succubus who steal young men to feed from. During this encounter their relationship is rattled ( so freaking frustrating because they were finally accepting their bond!! )
In the meantime Lexi is worried about her "going to the dark side ", ( hah) and becoming a vampire.
The Squad are also facing the threat of a werewolf pack and a Roque Wolf, they need to eliminate, but that might be harder said than done, when they find out that one of the team members are closer to them than they think!
So many things happened, as always it was fun, action packed and downright entertaining ! Loved every minute of it!
In the fourth book of the Shifter Squad, Lexi and Reese sense another werewolf hunting around their area and tries to hurt Lexi. The problem is neither of them really know what's going on and why. But when they start to find out it may be too late.
This book was really interesting. I really hated the way Reese and Lexi's relationship is push and pull though. That gets frustrating. And this one does end in a cliffhanger, but it's something that makes you crave the next book!
This series is funny, with lots of action and has a big romance plot too it as well. I can not wait to read more in this series.
West Virginia isn’t finished with our team yet, or so it seems. A Rogue Wolf is on the loose but he isn’t the only supernatural hunter on the loose. With pressure mounting, the team will have to prioritise who to hunt in which order. Hopefully they’ll catch their assailant before their wanted list gets any longer.
Let’s kick this review off with a warning… be prepared for trouble ahead. Lexi and Reece’s romance is going to take a turn for the worse, so if you’re anything like me, you might need to make time to binge read in the hopes that they sort things out quickly. *crosses fingers* I should probably try not to grumble about the fact that Reece is not my favourite person by the time this book ends, so instead I’m going to try and focus on the ‘good’ stuff. Hunting monsters doesn’t allow for a lot of downtime for the shifter squad, so it was really good to see them settling down together and celebrating Thanksgiving. It’s also arguably my favourite scene of the series to date. You’ll have to read it to find out why but I will say that it’s quite funny and had me giggling, which is always nice. I really love seeing the team strengthening the bonds between them and it’s super sweet how they all see each other as family. We do see Reece beginning to pull away from the group in the latter half of the book but it is his own choice, so while it’s a shame, I have absolutely no sympathy for him whatsoever. I wanted to keep this review light but it’s a little difficult given everything that happens. By the time the case of the missing hiker is wrapped up, I’m really starting to worry for Lexi’s emotional well-being. She’s been through a lot in a short amount of time and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any easier for her in the near future. It’s a really good thing that this series is complete as I would be absolutely dying while waiting for the next book in the series to be released. So go read and enjoy.Oh and before I forget, we also learn what command Lust gave Reece in this book. I was super happy to read that scene.
really tried to get into the series but for the first 3 books, the main female would do/have things - but never told her team AND every single time it ended up being something that everyone needed to know.
Cheat has many forms….and Reece is a dirtbag for even being tempted and not actually talking to his mate…Lexie has totally rolled into doormat material…books 1 &2 were great starts but has quickly rolled into 5he TSTL and cheater territory where it not redeemable will not read remainder books.
Just great after a successful mission, a new mission has risen up in the form of a werewolf eating humans. Not good at all, was a different mission came in at the same time, a missing camper. Mark decides to split the team up, Flynn and Kala and Mark will look into the werewolf that killed the human while Lexi and Reese track the missing camper until both missions come together after the rogue werewolf attacks Lexi.
This story is great and it moves fast pace, just the mating bond between Lexi and Reese is pulled apart even more as he struggles with a stupid problems of his own. Lexi wants him badly and I feel so sorry for her.
Once again, I will say this read the series, 1, 2, and 3 before 4 as it continues from third.
Book four in the Shifter Squad series takes you on an emotional roller coaster as find out who the rogue wolf is, and the series of events that led to their meeting. Reece and Lexi’s relationship is strained to the limits by external factors, the first being the taint that her vampire mother placed on them. The second happens when Reece’s loyalty is pulled in two different directions; his PIA team or his desire to be part of a pure bred wolf pack.
The book continues smoothly from the previous one and the pace remains fast, but the emotional content really pulls you in deep; keep the tissues handy.
These installments have been getting better and better. I loved how the author mixed in all types of paranormal beings into the storyline in each novel. This particular one brought on answers and questions regarding the squad members. Oh Reece...he so needs a swift kick to get himself in gear and make up his mind. Lex on the other hand seem to be getting more strange as the story continues. Overall this has been an exciting novel and series. Yes I would recommend this series as a read.
Love this book but some things in it i didnt, after all this time of reese mooning over lexi they finally get close and then farther into the book he pushes her away and wants a full breed wolf girl.Im hoping that they stay together and that he doesnt leave her or i will be really disappointed.Keeping my fingers crossed that the whole group stays together and reece and lexi stay a couple.
My heart is breaking for Lexi and Reece but I'm very intrigued about the connection between Reece's brother and the mystery woman from the pack. I feel like they're working together to pull apart Lexi and Reece and not just because the brother wants Lexi and hates Reece. I'm really looking forward to the next book in order to find out what's going on.
Fantastic! I loved every second! Can not wait until book 5 comes out! Writing was wonderful loved learning more about the charterers and their relationships.
I love these characters and the way they are growing and evolving into interesting and fun people. This series is a great one. I feel for our main heroine and her mate troubles.
Once again an extremely excellent read can't wait for the next one. Please don't stop this series. It's very well written and executed.Thank You for the great work!!!!!!!
Tasked with locating the rogue wolf who smells familiar and has a thing for Lexi, it’s a race against time before Reece and Lexi get blamed for the human killings. Well written and action packed a great addition to the series and I cannot wait for the next book
With the fourth book in the series, we find the bond starting to be strained and possibly broken between Lexi and Reece. hard to put down once you get started on this series.
