Wonderful book. I ordered the hard copy because I like to annotate and be able to go back and reread as I feel necessary. The author seems to favor the E-Book which has hyper links so I may try the E-book on some of the others to see if I like it equally. I do plan on getting the entire series of books.
Clearly explained, although very oriented for beginners. Very short book. I was expecting more details. I know the author from the videos and bought the book for reference. It’s easier than looking for a specific video when I need it. For that purpose is not “really” worth the value. Still, the explanation of the flambient method is very, very clear and precise.
It's a fast read but a great high-level summary of the methods the author uses to.shoot real estate. I personally struggled with images not loading correctly on my Kindle. He mentioned to expect this.during the forward and suggests alternate platforms to view the content, but when you are on the go it becomes a barrier. Ultimately I found value in it and despite the books being pricey for what they are i'll probably still purchase and read the entire series. I

Nathan not only has an expert grasp on Real Estate Photography, but a masterful understanding of Photography as a whole. He explains the science behind lighting and color and how that applies to Interior Photography. It is easy to understand and along with his extensive videos on YouTube that show real time examples of what he teaches here, you have the knowledge you need to get started in this field of work.
A very informative and easy to follow guide. It helps to know a little about iso, shutter speed and aperture prior to this book but he does go over this and much more throughout. An essential read for anyone starting out or for the more experienced looking to improve skills.
This book is a must have for real estate photography. Great to keep on hand as a reference also.
You can watch all of the videos from most everyone in the tubeverse and it will still leave you with spotty understanding at best. But reading and putting Nathans instruction together with his videos will give you a good foundational So get out there and.....you're know.
Well worth reading for anyone wanting to learn flash/ambient photography. Nathan provides great practical instruction through his YouTube tutorials that integrate perfectly with his books to produce a professional trade level “block course” in real estate / architectural photography.
Nathan Cool does a great job on the book. Gets to the point and the specifics of real estate photos and nothing more. You get the info that you came here for. Fluff is for taking pictures of kitties. This is for work.
Nathan’s videos provide excellent value for the beginner RE Photog, but this book puts it all together in one place. Well worth the money, as the methods demonstrated in the book and linked videos will pay for themselves in one shoot.
