Watching the man she thought she'd marry tie the knot to someone else spurs small-town waitress, Mandy Mattson, to finally pursue her dreams of opening her own restaurant.
But she can't do it alone. . .
Mandy's going to need the help of her sexy, long-time best friend, Frankie Smith. He has everything she needs--and more. She fell for him years ago, but has never allowed their friendship to evolve into something more. After all, he's "Frankie fall-off-the-tower Smith,” and she has no intention of giving her heart to a dare devil like him. But what happens when Frankie asks Mandy to take the biggest dare of all?

Rum and Raindrops (book 2) One nature guide. One accidental forest fire. And one steamy investigator hot on her tail.
Life would be easy for Jen Kulak if she hadn’t just burned down the forest she depends upon for her business’s wilderness adventures. It would be even easier if she hadn’t accidentally fallen head over heels for the fire investigator tracking her every move.
When the pressure on Jen heats up will she run like she has in the past? Or will she find the strength to fight the accusations that could cost her everything, including her own happily ever after?
Readers call this high chemistry romance a "must read!"
Eggnog and Candy Canes (book 3) Sometimes enemies make the best boyfriends.
Nurse Katie Reiter’s nemesis, Dr. Nash Leham is back in Blueberry Springs and he came for one thing—Katie. Will their battles turn to stolen kisses in the midst of a Christmas storm or will Katie find her happily ever after in the arms of another?
Katie loves to be in control, and so does Nash. And while the two may have butted heads in the past, when a family member falls ill on Christmas Eve, Katie knows there is only one doctor in Blueberry Springs that she trusts to help the Reiter's pull through in the midst of the blizzard. But what she doesn't count on is how her heart begins to sing for the man she's always considered an enemy...

A great introduction to Blueberry Springs with some memorable characters.
Whiskey: I loved getting to know this small town. The characters and interactions and humor was great. I really loved their development and the hurdles that they faced.
Rum: I really liked this book with the investigator angle. All of the outdoors time and the skittish tendencies. It made for a great read.
Eggnog: I was not privy to Nash’s apparent appearance in a previous book (I’ll have to go search it out), but I quickly understood the underlying tension as I remember his mentioning earlier in this series. It was a whirlwind, but different and enjoyable.
This is the 1st 3 books in the Blueberry Springs series. It is about a small mountain town based in the heart if the Rockies in Canada. You can read each book as a standalone, or the series. If reading the series I highly recommend reading the prequel, Champagne and Lemon drops. Every book with some angst, and love. A supportive, town, which may be over supportive at times. All the couples find their HEA by the end of their story
Blueberry Springs: Series Starter Box Set (Books 1-3)
I love to laugh and these 3 books did not disappoint. Laughter, love, and mystery all rolled into one. Just what I wanted, made it hard to stop reading. Each story different, with references to characters from the other stories, so you knew you were still in Blueberry Springs. Will for sure be reading your other books. Thanks!
I'm a sucker for romance...Add my favorite food group, baked goods (specifically, brownies), and I'm hooked, line and sinker! Can't wait to read the remaining series <3
This was a great book from the beginning. It had a lot of love ,a little suspense wondering who was going to end up winning their true love. Could not put it down until I finished it.
Were the second and third books written by someone else? Those two were more sweaty desire type, with too much tension between the main characters. I enjoyed the first book a lot more.
Sweet story lines. You feel like you really get to know the characters. I would recommend to anyone who is a romantic at heart! Each book stands on it's own, with enough of the key people to keep you involved with each one wanting more.
I loved these stories. The setting, story line, characters and the authors writing style brought this small town and its citizens to life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading these stories.
I loved hearing about these three sisters in each of their separate stories where they found love in the most unlikely places. These were enjoyable reads and I listened to the audio versions of these books which were brilliantly narrated and entertaining
This set was a great read. The characters in the books keep you turning the pages. Each character becomes like a old friend from one story until the next.
3great stories of young women who need to be more but don’t want to accept help. Each has an amazing guy who loves then but timing is everything in life.
It’s extremely unusual for me to not finish a book but this one has to go. It’s repetitive, shallow and sounds like a 13-year-old girl’s idea of romance.
Whiskey & Gumdrops - This is a sweet little HEA although it seems like Mandy was never going to get an HEA. Everything she could do to push Frankie away, she did. The book really follows a screw up girl next door down to he path to growing up & showing maturity. The items she was ashamed of ended up being her greatest strengths. After pushing everyone away, she realized that the path to her future was because of her small town relationships not in spite of them. I really liked this book.
Rum & Raindrops - I loved this book! In Rum & Raindrops, we get to know more about Jen. Jen is a local nature guide trying to get her small business off the ground. She offers guided hikes & canoe trips. After she had registered for a camp site, there was a fire that almost took out Blueberry Springs. Jen is second guessing herself about everything she did although her friends make fun of her for being so anal about her rules while hiking/camping. While out looking at the site in a misguided attempt to find clues leading to someone else, she runs across Rob Raine, the fire investigator. The chemistry is hot & sparks are flying. Mix in the investigation, her well meaning friends, his family & you either have an HEA or a disaster or BOTH!
"Blueberry Springs Starter Box Set (Books 1-3) by Jean Oram is a great collection!
"Whiskey and Gumdrops book 1 in the Blueberry Springs series by Jean Oram is a great read. I loved Mandy & Frankie's story. Whiskey and Gumdrops is a great read! Can not wait to see what happens in Blueberry Springs!
"Rum and Raindrops" is book 2 in the Blueberry Springs series. This is a fun story and a great addition to the Blueberry Springs series. I loved Jen and Rob. I'm looking forward to see what Jean Oram writes next about this fun town full of characters.
"Eggnog and Candy Canes" (Book 3 in the Blueberry Springs Series) by Jean Oram is a fantastic read. This Christmas novella is great! Trust me, you won't be able to think of monkeys, brownies or lipstick the same again! This story had me cracking up several times and I loved the ending! Awe! Can't wait to see what happens next in Blueberry Springs!
