"Quick & Dirty" is the first book in The Quick Billionaires series.

The best way to get over a millionaire is to get under a billionaire.

Travel writer Parker Ryan wants to erase every last trace of her ex from her mind, body, and soul, and what better way to forget a man than to take an all-expenses-paid trip to Tahiti? She’ll have ten days to write a feature piece about The Windward Hibiscus Resort.

That leaves plenty of time for fun and sun --

And a smoking hot fling with Tate McAllister, billionaire resort owner, scuba instructor, philanthropist, and let’s face it -- sex god.

Parker knows she’s not supposed to mix business with pleasure, but Tate’s ready and willing to wow her in and out of the bedroom. She can get the job done and let him fulfill all her fantasies, can’t she?

But she won’t, repeat -- won’t -- fall in love with the man. Even if every part of her wants to.

A Canadian West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. She spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn't end up in the air conditioner. But when the kids are at school and it's not quite wine o'clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

A lover of all things decadent; wine, cheese, chocolate and spicy erotic romance, Whitley brings the humorous side of sex, the ridiculous side of relationships and the suspense of everyday life into her stories. With single dads, firefighters, Navy SEALs, mommy wars, body issues, threesomes, bondage and role-playing, Whitley’s books have all the funny and fabulously filthy words you could hope for.

Quick and Dirty is the first book in a new series by Whitley Cox called The Quick Billionaire series. The heroine, Parker, is a travel writer that winds up getting assigned to visit a hotel in paradise right after being humiliated and dumped by her millionaire boyfriend, Xavier. Claiming he wanted someone more adventurous, he brutally ended their three year relationship at an event full of people with his mistress on his lap while he referred to Parker as "a dead fish."

Upon arriving at her destination in French Polynesia two weeks later, Parker receives a text from Xavier. Infuriated at it's contents, she goes up to the first attractive man she sees and asks him to take her to the nearest broom closet and fuck her brains out. Stunned, somewhat amused, and definitely turned on, the man complies.

 photo sex-tricks-6_zpsczuc6vvy.gif

Though the mystery man takes her to a music room instead of a broom closet, Parker gets her brains fucked out just like she asked for. Insisting on no names and no repeats, she leaves the room afterwards to get ready to meet with the hotel owner for an interview. Assuming the man that just rocked her world was a member of hotel staff, she knew she may run into him eventually, but if for no other reason than keeping his job, she knew he would keep their time together quiet.

When Parker arrives at her appointment with the hotel owner, Tate, she discovers that she was wrong about a few things. First, he already knew about her little tryst. Second, he was the sex god that blew her mind, and third, it wasn't going to be the last time.

Quick and Dirty is sweet and steamy with a whole lot more heart than I expected. Don't let the name throw you off. This story may be on the shorter side, but it has a little more depth to it than most stand-alone romance novels of similiar length. Basically, there was actually developed main characters and more to the plot than just a lot of shallow sex. That being said, Whitley knows how to write a sex scene, so you can expect your panties to catch fire, too! If you're looking for a hot, heartfelt, romance in an exotic setting, this one's for you!

Quick & Dirty by Whitley Cox is just that, plus a whole lot more! I totally loved this story of Tate and Parker, and I felt as though I was right along side of Parker as Tate took her on all the different adventures. I can't wait to read more from Whitley Cox!

3.5 broom closet stars!

I’m not entirely sure how I should rate this book. I really did enjoy the story, the characters were fun, the setting sounds ideal, the secondary characters were enjoyable, and there was a HEA. Ok, now here’s the ‘but’ part…there was just too much sex! I know, I know, what’s not to enjoy about that? But when it feels like almost 80% of the book is just about their sexual relationship it seems like a bit much, not to say that those encounters weren’t super racy and steamy, I just need more of an emotional connection between my MCs.

Parker was recently dumped by her long time (older) boyfriend at a dinner party, in front of 100 people, while his current mistress was seated on his lap. What a douche waffle! Good riddance. His parting words of “I’m sorry, darling, but you’re boring. You’re boring me. I want a woman who is around more. You’re like a dead fish. Cold, boring, lifeless. We’re through.” cause Parker to rage, question herself, and decide that she’s going to be anything but from here on out. That’s when she runs into Tate, thinking that he’s just the hotel staff, not the owner, and asks him to “take me into the nearest broom closet and f*ck me senseless.”

I loved Tate, the Robin Hood-esque, philanthropist, environmentalist, reclusive, handsome as sin billionaire. He’s expecting a male reporter to be conducting an interview of him at his exclusive resort and what shows up at his door is the woman with flaming hair that he just had crazy hot sex with in a music room (the broom closet wasn’t up to par).

What ensues is a 10-day fling of non-stop sex, island adventures, and delicious meals. I did enjoy that there was a lot of personal growth from Parker, she became a stronger woman, more adventurous, discovered things about herself that she didn’t like and vowed to change them.

I was falling for the billionaire, falling hard, and if I wasn’t careful, I was going to crash and burn. And unlike the Phoenix, I wasn’t sure if I had the strength to rise from the ashes.

A minor thing, but a distraction for me, was that there was a need for editing. In one case the POV changed from 1st person to 3rd person in the same chapter.

A fun read if you are up for 10-days of non-stop sex; indoors, outdoors, in a music room, on the beach, in a pool, in the woods…you get the idea ;) and of course a cheesy HEA.

Wow! This will certainly spice up your day. A sexy, steamy book that you'll need an ice cold drink before settling in to read. Parker Ryan has never been a take-charge kinda woman but decides there's no time like the present while at the Windward Hibiscus Hotel in Tahiti. Tate McAllister may be a billionaire, but he is such a great guy that readers will swoon over him. These two are highly combustible together. I fell in love with them immediately.

This is why I love trying new authors. I can't wait to read the next in this series. It's perfect for those who love their romance dialed up to inferno level.

Arc provided by author for honest review. Whitley has become one of my favourite authors, I freaken love this lady's dirty mind and work. Quick and dirty is the perfect title for this book. This book is really dirty. The sex scenes are so hot, you will need fresh air I'm not joking. Tate is freaken perfect. He's the perfect gentleman with such a dirty side you can't help but want to get dirty right along with him. He also has a heart made of gold. The man is Saint! I loved every minute of this book. I'm so proud of you Whit!

Got over myself and finished this and it is GOOD and HOT and just so SWEET. Complete fantasy, but a fun escape from reality.

Sigh. Ain’t love (and amazingly smoking sex) grand? Lol.

4, naughty but sweet, stars.

Old review below this point.

Not rating this as my DNFing the book is all due to my Book Slump. I find pleasure in nothing I read and if I force it, I just get bored and completely turned off.

This book is next to nothing but sexsexsex all the time. I’m not against that, but even titillating and well written scenes are only making me yawn and wonder if that’s it.

I have GR friends who really enjoyed this and I feel badly giving up on it, but I pushed too hard and now I’m numb to the book.

Maybe after my Book Slump is over I can try again, because the beginning was quite good and it is well written. I just can’t find it in myself to continue at this time.

No star rating because it is NOT the book, it is me.

After being dumped by her boyfriend Parker decides that while she is completing her assignment at a luxury resort she is going to have quick and dirty sex with a stranger. Tate McAllister who owns the resort happens to be the lucky guy she propositions for the deed. What starts off as a one time thing ends up being no string sex for her entire 10 day stay. But at the end of the 10 days will she be able to walk away? Or will this be the beginning of a HEA? With great characters and a storyline that makes the pages fly by, once again, Whitley Cox does not disappoint. I cannot wait for more stories from this author.

Parker Ryan, a writer for a travel magazine, experiences her much older millionaire boyfriend of three years breakup with her at his New Years Eve party in front of everyone. She is told she has 'daddy issues' and is a boring fish with no sense of adventure. When a voicemail a couple weeks later expresses more of the same just as she is approaching The Windward Hibiscus for a 10 day stay, she enters the lobby seething with anger and tells the handsome greeter when he asks how he can help to 'Take me to the nearest broom closet and render me senseless.' And so Ms. Cox begins the tale of Parker's new adventurous self, Parker not knowing that the sex god serving her is the owner, Tate McAllister himself, who expects Parker to be a man! Ten days later, when she writes her review of her time at the 'Paradise for Plutocrats,' she titles it 'Life-Changing, Soul-Saving, Heart-Mending....' Tate knows how to take care of people and he delights in cherishing Parker and in demanding she ask for what she wants. You will be surprised what she asks for on her last day and the answer she gets!

The title of this book is Quick and Dirty but not so sure that does this book justice. Hell yes it is dirty, but to even think that Tate is quick in any shape or form is just misleading LOL. This is the story of Parker who has had her heart broken and also been humiliated on New Years Eve by her millionaire boyfriend and Tate who is a billionaire who has everything money can buy except the one thing he really wants and that is someone to love. Newly single Parker is a writer who is writing a review on Tate's very exclusive and expensive resort. These two have chemistry from the moment their eyes meet and what is supposed to be just a quick and dirty 10 days together might just be harder to walk away from than either of them expect. If you like your romances so hot and steamy that the pages are literally melting than you need to quickly grab a copy of this dirty little number because Whitley Cox does not disappoint. This story will fulfil every one of your fantasies when it comes to a romance book and will leave you more than satisfied.

Absolutely loved this book. I felt so sorry for Parker at the start of the book. Luckily for her she had a chance to get away as she was going on assignment for her job as a travel writer.
Deciding to let loose and be someone different, she basically meets her match the second she steps foot into the resort she is writing about.
Tate is a wonderful hero in this story. He is such an alpha male, but is also very caring and giving towards the people in his life.
Their chemistry is off the charts hot, and Whitley certainly knows how to write a sex scene. Needed to fan myself a few times.
Great writing, wonderful characters that all added up to a magnificent book.

Quick and dirty is exactly as the title states...Tate is a resort owner and beyond dedicated to making sure his guests are pleased. He is a great man who has a very unexpected guest at his resort. The story is hot and the sex is hotter. Parker and Tate's romance is short and quick but will it last longer or not

Recommend this book to romance readers who love hot chemistry.

Hot, fast read

4.5 stars for this fast paced, super sexy story. Parker is supposed to be a writer and is reviewing an over the top resort owned by billionaire Tate. Their first meeting was hilarious and so hot, i knew I was in for a treat. Not much writing got done over the 10 days, but Parker was given all access special treatment, and thanks to Tate, I can guarantee she felt special. Loved this quick fling.

HA! WOW. I HATED THIS. I hated it so much. I made a note in my phone as I read it because it was so bad and I didn’t want to forget any of my points. It has spoilers, I guess? But anyway. This was BAD. As detailed below!

TLDR the mental gymnastics this author goes through to make an “ethical billionaire” are insane. It screams white person who wants to be “special” and accepted as the white savior to indigenous people. And the steam & spice doesn’t even make up for it!

1. No actual travel writer would risk their career by sleeping with the owner of the place she’s reviewing. I know they already do at the beginning BUT that did not factor into her decision to continue whatsoever. She is also supposed to interview him and as an interviewer you must disclose a personal relationship in this sort of situation to your employer and readership.
2. There are not ethical billionaires. It is not ethical to let these plutocrats in to fuck their mistresses and boy toys with discretion— doing *that* to get the money to help people is not ethical. The mental fucking gymnastics that the author is putting herself (and the reader) through to make is so that this billionaire is literally so perfect he’s a goddamn saint, and by extension saying billionaires HAVE THE POTENTIAL to be ethical and perfect like this. The justification 1) doesn’t work and 2) those things that he’s doing that are so saint-like are not even that good when you view them in any other lens than what the book gives you.
3. The fact that they love their boss so much? For one, it’s making them entirely dependent on him. It’s no less than the company towns that for example, Pullman did before the riots. By helping connect families, etc, he is actually manipulating his employees to be so blindly loyal to him. He may not realize it.
4. “The line is there because we put it there. The staff. We don’t want to ever make him feel like he can’t reprimand us or take the actions he needs to take. If things got too friendly, it would blur the line between employer and staff, and the last thing we want to do is take advantage of him. If an employee turns out to be shit, half the time Mr. McAllister doesn’t even find out about it. We get rid of the dud ourselves, or management does.” Is a HUGE fucking red flag. This is brainwashed cult behavior.
5. Racially insensitive! Oh my god the Samoan tattoo. “Thanks. A buddy of mine, he’s Samoan, and when I went to visit his family with him a few years ago, he took me to his uncles’s tattoo shop and I had it done. I wasn’t sure about getting something so cultural on my body, especially since I’m not Samoan, but Malakai was insistent. He says I’m family, and even though I’m as white as they come, he knows how deeply embedded French Polynesia is in my heart.” His Adam’s apple bobbed heavy in his throat at the mention of family. “It was an honor.” This is the “welcoming the white man to our sacred Indian ceremony” shit. It’s what white people who want a native tattoo with would happen to them. You know what proves the fact that he is NOT connected to their culture? The fact he calls is FRENCH Polynesia. No one who is truly in tune with a colonized area’s indigenous peoples would continue to call it the colonizer name. Also. There is not a way in hell a Samoan man is named Malakai. Just because it’s spelled differently doesn’t mean it’s a Samoan name, my dude.
6. The spice!!! Isn’t!! Even!!! That good!!! It’s mediocre at best!!!
7. The dialogue is poor. Repetitive and goes in circles. Irritating and unnecessary. I skip a lot of the dialogue.

Humiliated by her much older, millionaire boyfriend of three years publicly breaking up with her at a New Year’s Eve party he’d invited her and many friends to, Parker Ryan was glad to get away to stay at The windward Hibiscus Resort. She’s there in her role as a travel writer but, after another communication for her ex explaining how boring she is, she’s out to make the most of life’s opportunities and to forget him. That’s why she asks the first man she meets in reception to 'Take me to the nearest broom closet and render me senseless.’ This starts a hot and steamy relationship with the sexy stranger who turns out to be the reclusive owner of the resort, Tate McAllister. They agree to have a ‘quick and dirty’ relationship during her stay there. However, with such strong, mutual attraction between the two, will her holiday stay be enough for either of them?

If you like the steam rising off the pages of your reading matter, you’ll love this story. The characters are well developed, the plot has unexpected twists and turns and that ending is brilliant! I look forward to reading more from this talented author in future!

Quick & Dirty

Let me start by saying that this story’s heroine, Parker, swears like a drunken sailor on leave. I loved my first impression of her. Parker Ryan swept Tate McCallister right off his feet. For example, he was expecting a male travel journalist to write an article about his hotel, not an angelic red head whose first words were to demand sex in a broom closet. Tate owned a luxury full service resort so servicing Parker was not a problem. Their tryst was supposed to be anonymous one time thing...but that was never gonna happen. Less than an hour after Parker had landed in Paradise, see found herself surrounded by luxury and the best orgasm of her life still hadn’t worn off. Having very little info on Tate McCallister to go on, Parker went about searching for the man himself. Picturing a retired billionaire who chose to spend the rest of his days on the beautiful island of Moorea the last man she expected to find was Mr. Hot Sex In The Broom Closet Guy. The last thing Tate expected was a woman travel journalist. Parker was coming off a bad break up, she was only looking for quick and dirty fling ...Tate was unattached and ten days, to his way of thinking would still constitute a fling. All Parker had to do was say no..but she didn’t. As I said before, in all of my reviews of Ms. Cox’s works she writes the absolute best men. Tate is a bit different from this author’s norm but there’s a quiet strength to him. There’s an honesty and earnestness about Tate that shows the reader he’s trustworthy. He’s a generous lover and a private man. Quick and dirty is anything but. There’s a slow burn and a steady heat to Parker and Tate. While they may have started their relationship quick and dirty, the author has paced this book beautifully and the more we learn about Tate the more wonderful he gets. Parker grapples to unearth who Tate really is..both for her story but also for herself. The sex is off the charts but as with all of this author’s books...there is always a great story to tell.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts ARC.

Parker was with Xavier for three years and on New Years Eve at his restaurant he dumps Parker in front of their friends and colleagues. Next thing she is on the tropical island of Moorea with her determination to sleep with the first man she meets. In fact the first man she met was tall and gorgeous so she turns to him and said she wanted him in the broom closet or someplace now. They went into another room and had hot sex though she didn't want to know his name. Parker was there for her job to write about the resort for her magazine.

Parker needed to check in she was given the presidential villa. Parker goes to see Mr. McAllister and when she walks in his office should couldn't believe it was the stranger from earlier. He tells her who he is and tells her he would give her a tour of the resort.

Parker takes a walk herself to talk to some of the staff. The first person she meets is Alessandro in his greenhouse he tells her off the record about how Mr.McAllister takes care of his staff. Parker and Tate have been spending more time together and the sex is nonstop. Tate's friend Justin turns up with his family at the resort and Tate introduces Parker. Everyday Tate takes Parker to do different things. Just when things are looking great everything came crashing down around her. Twists turns and love with very graphic hot sex. Wonderful Read

I first read Quick & Dirty a few months ago when it was released as part of the Sultry Nights boxed set. What follows is my original review I left at the time.

I have read Quick & Dirty by Whitley Cox. This story was not quick (it's a full length novel), but it was dirty (in a good and very sexy way). Parker is a travel journalist whose life implodes right before a job takes her to a very exclusive private island resort. Tate is the billionaire owner (of said resort) who values his privacy. How will a mistaken identity and very unconventional first meeting, interviews that always start off with "off the record?," a supposedly casual 10-day fling end up, and a smarmy ex-boyfriend end up? I definitely recommend reading this one to find out!

Whew, Parker and Tate are hot!! I love the two of them together! They are perfect for each other, but do they figure that out before it's too late? Tate is one of a kind, and my new book boyfriend. It's going to be hard to find another one to replace him anytime soon!! I received a review copy of this book, but because I loved it so much I had to buy the whole collection. I'm excited to see what stories the other authors contributed!

Review for Quick and Dirty by Whitley Cox

Quick and Dirty couldn’t have been any more of a perfect title! I absolutely loved this book. The characters were charming and witty. You don’t want to miss this hilariously witty rom-com! I highly recommend it!

For Parker Ryan it was suppose to be a job. Ten days at a luxury resort on a Tahitian island, interviewing the elusive millionaire resort owner, Mr. Tate McAllister, and experiencing all the island has to offer and it’s all free as part of her job as a photojournalist. But ass Parker arrives on the island she receives a message from her ex boyfriend that sends her into a rage and leads her to making a decision that may just change in a way she would never expect.

Tate McAllister is instantly drawl the the lovely red headed beauty who just set foot into his hotel. He’s determined to learn her name. When he learns she is the “Mr.” Ryan he has been expecting, everything changes. Will 10 days be enough to get to know the beautiful journalist?

This book was a wonderful surprise for me. I was expecting your typical rich Alpha meets meek "poorer" woman, and they have some steamy romps boom HEA! This book was so far from that and it was refreshing.
This story literally begins with Parker storming into an exclusive resort demanding to be taken to the "broom closet for a quick and dirty" romp. Tate couldnt be happier to oblige. Like does Parker know she has just met the reclusive Tate McAllister. OWNER of the resort she is there to review. This story takes off and continues at a wonderful pace and keeps the reader turning pages. I really enjoy the attention to detail without going into overdrive. I do not typically like books that overdo the details, leaving nothing to the readers imagination. This is a beautiful love story that as I stated is a breath of fresh air in this "richy" section of the Romance Genre.

Quick & Dirty is awesome!!
An exciting tale of self rediscovery, mistaken identity, beautiful landscapes and fabulous sex.
You are who you make yourself into, and this can be an ever evolving process. Your history is always a part of you no matter how much you run. Be wary of influences you may encounter, not all are good for you.
These and other lessons are imparted in Quick & Dirty as well as some very inspiring actions 😉.

Parker is looking forward to the opportunity to write a travel review for a resort in Tahiti but her excitement is tarnished by the brutal breakup with her boyfriend of three years. She decides revenge sex to show that she can draw the attention of another man is now on the itinerary for her stay.

Tate has been preparing the resort for the review but he wasn’t expecting the fiery and sexy Parker to be the one doing it. What starts as a one night stand leads to ten days of fun in the sun but what happens when their time is up?

Quick & dirty describes Whitley Cox’s book to a T! It is witty, fun and sexy romantic comedy. Should be called, how 10 days can change your life! Parker’ boyfriend breaks up with via voice mail, while she is on her way to Tahiti to interview the billionaire owner of a resort Tate McAlister. Their chemistry is intense and has they see more and more of each other, they decide to have a fling. Can they leave after 10 days? Can the relationship continue when they are back home ?
