-4 stars. a good book for beginners, with helpful pictures.

-i did not finish this not because it was a bad book, but because after getting far enough in, i realized this was not something i want to pursue at this time. i'll stick with my regular gardening for now. also, it was a library book with other people waiting for it and i cant renew it. made it to p. 89, chapter 8.

-mentions foodsafe plastics are numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5, but 2 plastics are best for using to grow food.
-pictures of basic homemade hydroponic setups and instructions on how to build them.
-briefly touches on LED bulbs as an option for grow lights, but i would have liked more information on the LED grow lights since this is a more recent book and they're a more recent technology.
-discusses what types of soil-less substrates to use, and how to start seeds for hydroponics. this was as far as i got.
