Great story line and I loved the characters in this story. Great interaction between Nikolai and his bloodmate Lauren.

The Thirst has hit another Vampire. Nikolai Petrov is a handsome Russian and successful financier and a younger Vampire. His Bloodmate happens to be Lauren Morgan who has been on her own for 9 years (since she was 15) and unbeknownst to her, has Fae blood. Unfortunately, an evil and ancient Vampire wants her for her Fae blood and has kidnapped her. The race is on whether Nikolai can get to her in time before The Thirst takes him over completely.
This was an edge-of-your-seat, action packed, funny and scorching romantic story. Loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book. An awesome addition to The Thirst Series!

Lauren's blood is like a paranormal dinner bell
Lauren's blood is very desirable and makes her a target for supernatural beings as a valuable commodity to be taken and sold. Nikolia is her bloodmate, and when she's kidnapped, he'll fight his own side to save her. He also has to fight himself. The Thirst creates an intense craving for her blood and sex, and if he isn't careful, she could get hurt and he could go insane. So, there are some pretty big consequences if anything goes wrong.
This standalone book is part of a series about vampires and their "Thirst" and the larger paranormal world. It's written by different authors, so you get the same "Thirst" universe but with the different writing styles of these various authors. You don't need to read the others to understand this one but there are going to be overarching themes and characters that run throughout. I like this because not everyone likes the same style of vampire--some like dark and erotic, some like it lighter or more romantic. This way, you get the same world but with a different tone. It gives you options.

Sooo Hot!
Another unique addition to the series. This time for a change we have a young vampire instead of an ancient one. There are some seriously hot love scenes that will have you squirming as you read. And the bad guys are so well written that you just want to jump into the pages and kill them yourself. Nikolai, a brooding Russian bad boy who changed his ways when he became a vampire, reluctantly agrees to attend a meeting with a werewolf nightclub owner at his maker's request, and catches the scent of his Bloodmate. I loved the character of Lauren. She's a tough, independent, and resourceful woman determined to do whatever it takes to survive. When she is kidnapped by werewolves, and subsequently rescued by Nikolai, she finds herself thrown into a strange new world that will change her forever. Plenty of action and lots of emotion and twist and turns that will have you glued to the pages til the very end.

Nikolai Petrov is a Russian vampire that now lives in London and gives in to his maker and attends a business meeting in a shady nightclub run by werewolves. He is then hit but an insatiable need for blood and sex and a delicious scent is picked up by him - it is his bloodmate (Lauren) and she desperately needs help. However another vampire has paid to buy her as she isn't completely human. Can he find her and bond with her before the Thirst takes over and sends him mad?
This was a roller-coaster of a chase to find her and then protect her from the buyer. There was plenty of action and drama in the story of how Nikolai and Lauren met and became mates. Nice story with some great touches like her not being fully human and the buyer.

Only Time Will Tell....
Nikolai is not a old vampire, as a matter of fact he is a fairly young vamp, but he has managed to build a fortune and good reputation for himself. He'd never turn to the life that condemned him to become a vampire in Russia in the first place. Now he has very bad dilemma, he has caught a tantalizing scent that has thrown him into an unexpected desire for blood directly from a human and he hasn't partaken in that form of feeding in years. When he discovers what is afflicting him he must find his Bloodmate, only problem is he is running out of time before he loses it to the blood thirst and has to be put down by the Directive, being such a young vampire will not help him, not even Lauren?

Wow. This is the latest stand alone in the Vampires Thirst series but it's written by a new author.
Nikolai friend and maker asks him to go see a wolf who he dose not like. However not long into the meeting The Thirst hits him and he's overcome with the need to feed.
Lauren is a street rat,stealing what she can in order to live and have a room to stay in, when shes captured and threatened by the same people Nikolai is meeting with. She has been sold.

A quick-paced vampire-human romance with lots of sex and action. This is definitely a fun, quick read with the added bonus that the vampire didn't put the human woman into the peril he rescues her from--so refreshing.
There are other books, by other authors in this series and I have not read any of them, but that did not hinder my reading experience. Help arrives from France and other places with the mention of finishing up business there, so I get that, if I'm interested, I can find out what that business was, but no spoilers for previous books are in this and no need important plot information is lost by not having read them.

I have read all the books in A Vampire's Thirst and they just keep on getting better. They are all stand alone books by various authors.
Nikolai is a younger vampire so his abilities are less than many but he isn't going to let that stop him. His Maker wants him to take on a business proposal with a wolf not just any wolf a wolf who is selling humans to vamps. While in this club Nikolai takes on a change unlike anything he is used to and it all ends with a scent.
Lauren has had a pretty messed up life. She has been on her own since she was a teenager. One night she is kidnapped and taken by none other than a bunch of werewolves. She isn't too shocked by anything anymore in her life.
Then everything goes to hell in a handbasket and it is all because of Nikolai' maker? Can Nikolai save the woman that was made for him before it's too late and the Vamp and The Thirst take him down?

OMG!!! Absolutely amazing!!!
Nikolai and Lauren absolutely stole my heart! Their story of loss, finding love, loss again, and forever finding love had me going from tears, to smiles, to anger, to smiles, and finally happy tears! Nikolai is an amazing character of friendship (even though he didn't think so), goodness, and love. Lauren, even though she'd been through hell, had a heart she couldn't hide. The twist to the story was wonderful and had me hanging on every word. Great work Marissa!!!!

Gripped by the thirst, Nikolai is becoming a slave to his baser needs and the only thing that can calm this terrible thirst is his blood mate. Then in the least likely situation he catches the cupcake scent that can either be his salvation or his undoing.
Lauren is used to being the only one looking out for Lauren. When she's suddenly abducted and held prisoner to be sold as a blood slave to a vampire her survival skills are put to the test.

The Vampire’s Thirst series is wonderful. Each book is written by a different author but they all connect together. You can easily read them in any order. I love the whole Love at first scent. Where the soul and heart have always known the other person but now the mind must realize it too. The love and devotion are just right. And there is always a bad guy who just has to ruin it. Action, supernaturals and some hot scenes. What more can you ask for?

This is the second book in the series that I've read. They have both been extremely exciting for the intense action and hot sex. You don't have to read my review, if you're looking for exciting adventures and hot passionate sex, this is one for you. If you want a book report, read the reviews and the blurb. But it's more fun to just start reading (unless you're averse to and shocked by passionate sex and bloody adventures). By the way, we will meet Ivan again later, in "A Vampire's Thirst: Ivan" where we learn his story and follow his quest for his Bloodmate.

This was an excellent vampire novella, atmospheric, intriguing, and with enough twists to keep your attention. This is solidly written, no major plot holes, and involves all of my very favorite supernaturals! I managed to read this in the space of a single kids movie, (distraction, pure distraction!) and was VERY grateful for it! Well done, and much appreciated THANK YOU for the opportunity to review this work!!

Utter Perfection
This was an amazing book that started off with action from the start. This book drags you into so well you lose track of time. This book brings in more information about this thirst. You will laugh and maybe you will cry, but it will surprise you. There will be a time you might scream too, who knows.

This was a great start to a new series of books full of action from the start. This book just drew me in so quickly it was hard to put down. It was well written with a great storyline. Nikolai and Lauren worked so well together. It's lovely to go back and revisit with the vampire's again after so many normal books. This is a must read. I voluntarily read an ARC copy of this book for mu honest review.

Excellent story. Lauren is one tough cookie, even after being kidnapped & sold as a blood slave, she held herself together. Nikolai is a young, but sexy vampire who almost succumbs to "The Thirst". Thankfully he finds his bloodmate, Lauren. Evil vampire, crazy greedy werewolf, just add to this story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.

A young Vampire....
Nikolai is a younger vampire than the other ones I've read and I thought it would make a difference but it sure didn't. I like the storyline on this and the characters were great. Lauren was a strong Bloodmate with extra powers which helped. This is another great Vampire Thirst story!

I loved this series of books. I highly recommend them. This story is one you can't put down. Very well written and very enjoyable. I really hated to see it end. I will go back and read them again. I recommend the whole series. This one has excitement, suspense, hot, fun and so much more. It is a surprise each time they get the thirst and then how they meet their one person.

Wow! Another vamp-a-licious must read! ... "A Vampire's Thirst: Nikolai" grabbed me from the start & held on tight, despite being a short read! A fantastic story with great characters that left me wanting more & will keep readers engaged & turning pages! I highly recommend this to adult fans of fiction & I can't wait to read more from this talented author :)

I must admit i liked both the plot and the love interest how ever i was expecting more from the Fae, in the way her powers worked in this novel as a result they seemed a little flat. I was expecting some sort of power that leaves not only her more powerful than anyone ever would imagine but also Nickoli as well after they bonded by sharing blood.

Sweet, sexy, thrilling and I loved it! Lovable and interesting characters and an intriguing and exciting plot line, this book had everything needed for me as a reader to be hooked from the first page. I can highly recommend this to all you supernatural/vampire fans out there!
