With more than 100 animals to find, this large lift-the-flap book is a perfect introduction to the animal kingdom. From pets to the jungle and the farm to the forest, children will have endless fun finding their favorite animals and learning to read with My Little World.
Of course this book counts towards my reading goals for 2020. I’ve read it more than any book ever and I’ve fixed the spine on it at least three times.
Lots to look at in this sturdy lift-the-flap book. My 13-month-old is too little to pay attention for the whole thing, but he had a lot of fun lifting the flaps on the first couple of pages.
This large board book filled with all sorts of colors, images, and scenes offers youngsters many opportunities--over 100!--to lift various flaps and reveal various animals in different settings. Beginning with something that might be familiar and moving to lesser known areas, youngsters look for pets that are hiding in a house. There's even a mouse inside a clock. Other pages contain flaps to be lifted in order to show the sounds animals make he what certain young animals are called when they grow up. There are eight different scenarios to explore with a jungle and rainforest setting on the book's final pages. This book will certainly keep curious young readers busy and encourage them to ask questions to learn more about those animals and some of the habitats. Who wouldn't love a book with this many flaps?
There is nothing more stressful than a book with flaps from the library. Kait loved this one. She's into animals lately and we sang a lot of related songs as we went.
Recommend for your little reader. [Children's book. Great for ages 1yr+.]
Durable board book. My little reader loves the interactive play of opening and closing the many tabs. Book focuses on animals across a number landscapes- pets, woodland, baby, farm.
