Four brand new Amish stories of coming home.

No Place Like Home  by Amy Clipston

Estranged daughter Eva Dienner has been staying with her in-laws, the Riehls, since her husband was killed in a fire, but now she wants her son to meet his maternal grandparents. Upon her return, Eva finds that the man her parents always intended for her is living in their daadihaus and running the dairy farm for them for free, despite her suspicions of him taking advantage of her family. Eva knows she should put the past behind her, but is she ready to move into the future?

When Love Returns  by Beth Wiseman

Hurricane Harvey forces Sarah Zook to return to the home she fled six years ago when she couldn’t face her stern parents’ reaction to her unplanned pregnancy. Upon her return, Abram King can think of nothing but the pain she caused him—until he meets Sarah’s daughter and realizes that he never really stopped loving Sarah. Sarah and Abram must find a way to face the truth of their past so they can rekindle their first love.

The Courage to Love  by Shelley Shepard Gray

After the death of her Englisch husband, Irene Keim seeks a fresh start by staying with her new friends Mary Ruth and Henry Wengerd in exchange for helping them around the house. But when Mary Ruth and Henry’s son Marcus comes around, he isn’t pleased with the woman they’ve taken in and is determined to push her out. Misunderstandings abound, but both Irene and Marcus learn that people aren’t always what they seem.

What Love Built  by Kathleen Fuller

Independent and headstrong, Carolyn is determined to forge ahead with the opening of her bakery, a lifelong dream, in the Birch Creek home she left ten years ago. But she’s in over her head and needs help with the cleaning, shopping, and deliveries. Carpenter Atlee Shetler is visiting Birch Creek to escape the memories of his late wife. He takes a job renovating the new bakery and finds the project—and its owner—to be much more than he bargained for. Both Carolyn and Atlee must face pains of the past if they want to have the bright future God has planned for them.

When I need a palette cleanser I always know I can turn to Amish Fiction for an easy, enjoyable read.
The book consists of four short novels that follow four different women who have come back to the Amish faith after suffering loss. Although each story was different they all went through similar emotions of grief and heartache that blended well together.
A lovely read from start to finish!

Thanks to NetGalley and Zondervan Fiction for the advance copy!

Zondervan has pulled together four novellas by four expert authors on Amish life. They are also very good at writing romance stories in the Amish culture. This collection tells stories of prodigals, of people who moved from their community to another and then come back, of people who leave their faith and return to it.

Some of the characters have been abused by others in the novel, some have lost people precious to them, some have bridges to build, others have to find home.

Eva comes home with a little girl to meet her parents. She doesn't expect to stay long, there is too much bad blood between her mother and her.

Sarah comes home after Hurricane Harvey destroys where she lives. She, too, has a little girl, and the father of the girl is one of the first people she sees.

Irene comes back to her Amish community after her Englisch husband dies. She is living with an older couple helping them around the house for room and board. Their son comes by and sees Irene as taking advantage of his parents.

Carolyn wants to open a bakery within two weeks. Atlee Shetler has come to visit his friend Thomas, but wants to do something than just sit around. He comes around to help her get the bakery ready to open.

This is a five star collection, two thumbs up, and a chocolate orange twist.

I appreciate that Zondervan Publishing for allowing me to read and review this book.

This book is made up of four novellas about coming home to an Amish Community. I have read and followed three of the four authors, so it was great to read about characters that I am familiar with, but I enjoyed all four stories. This collection tells stories of prodigal daughters, who have returned home for various reasons. Some have been abused by others in the novel, some have lost people precious to them, some have bridges to build, others have to find home. I am not going to regurgitate the story plots here, but I will tell you that the Amish faith and family love and support are all a huge part of the Homecoming in the four stories. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to those who enjoy Amish Fiction. The publisher, Zondervan, generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions stated are my own.

No Place Like Home by Amy Clipston

I really liked the story and thought Eva was a wonderful character. She has been estranged from her family for several years. It was sad to read that Eva and her parents couldn't work things out. Eva has a lot to think about after a tragedy strikes someone very special to her. Will she go home and try to mend her relationship with her parents?

The struggle that Eva had trying to forgive her parents also seemed to deal with pride on Eva's part. It is hard to admit when you are wrong and pride sure can stand in the way of saying, "I'm sorry." Ian is a breath of fresh air and I instantly admired how he has helped Eva's parents on their farm all these years. There is friction between Ian and Eva when she returns home for a visit. Can Ian change her mind and stay? It is a great story of forgiveness and letting go of the past.

When Love Returns by Beth Wiseman

This story is very special to me because I lost almost everything in Hurricane Harvey. It was easy to sympathize with Sarah as she makes the hard decision to return to her parents home. After losing everything in the flood Sarah and her daughter have no place else to go. It will be very difficult to start over for Sarah. She left home six years ago and hasn't spoken to them in all that time. I can't imagine the feeling she must have had as she approached her parents home. Will they welcome her and her daughter? The tension between Sarah and her mother is going to take a lot of work. Can they each find it in their hearts to forgive each other?

Sarah has a bigger problem when Abram shows up to speak with her. He has not seen his daughter and you can feel his anger as he begins to talk to Sarah. Miriam is a welcome treat to the story. She is full of life and so care free. How will Sarah explain who Abram is? I found this story to be well written and shared how bitterness can ruin relationships. One of my favorites quotes from the story is, " You can carry the burdens of your past or choose to move forward without the added baggage." Sarah chose to run away from her problems in shame and now finds facing her past is difficult.

The story is very intense at times especially between Sarah and her mother. I loved the twist in the story and it had me on pins and needles. Sarah has a lot to overcome and her past will play a big role in deciding if she stays or goes back to Houston. It will be a lesson for all when the truth comes out about Sarah's past. Sarah and her mother have had a strained relationship and readers will see how much pain it has caused both of them. I wanted to hug Sarah and tell her not to feel ashamed of something she had no control over. As a teenager, when you mess up you can feel like the world is against you. Sarah must learn that her parents and friends will always be there for her. Will Abram and Sarah find a way to mend their relationship? The story will bring tears to your eyes and give you hope as the characters work through pain, rejection and bitterness.

The Courage to Love by Shelley Shepard Gray

Irene has had a difficult life and people she thought were her friends have turned their back on her. It was a welcome invitation when Mary and Henry invite her to live with them. She has become a big help to them and Irene finally feels like she belongs . All that changes when Mary and Henry's son shows up. Marcus is very suspicious of Irene and drives her away from the comfort of his parents house. Why does he not trust Irene? I felt sorry for Irene and how lonely she felt.

Reading about Irene's past growing up broke my heart. It is hard as a child to know that your parents don't really care about you. It is no wonder Irene doesn't trust people. A feeling of abandonment has followed her through her life. Can Marcus make amends to Irene and become friends? The emotional pain Irene suffered as a child has caused her to keep people at arms length. It is hard for her to let people in but Marcus is trying to show her kindness and friendship. I loved the part in the story when Marcus comes to Irene's defense when she is accused of something. I could feel that Irene was grateful that people knew she was innocent of what someone was accusing her of. Irene has wanted to be loved by someone all her life. Will she finally find it with Marcus?

What Love Built by Kathleen Fuller

Carolyn has her hands full when she decides to open her own bakery. The place she chooses as a bakery is not in the best shape. Her family wants to help her , but she is determined to do everything herself. I laughed out loud when she runs into Atlee as she is leaving the bakery for the evening. As they collide she falls into a bag of flour. I can just imagine how she looked with flour in her hair. What a way to meet someone for the first time I say. If you want to make a lasting impression, I think Carolyn probably accomplished that.

Sometimes coming home is not easy as Carolyn is finding out. It is difficult for her to get over her past and the hurt she felt when she left years ago. Her bakery is in need of a lot of work and I loved how Atlee was able to convince her to let him help. Atlee is a wonderful man but is lonely since the passing of his wife. I loved how Atlee and Carolyn slowly became friends.

The author does a great job of bringing two lonely people together and let them learn to trust again. I'm not sure if Atlee is ready for a baking lesson from Carolyn but it sure makes for some laughs. They remind me of teenagers just starting to date. They don't want to embarrass themselves but sometimes the best plan doesn't always turn out the way we want. When something horrible happens, Carolyn is devastated. She starts questioning if she should have come back to the town she didn't feel a part of. I loved how humble she became as she poured her heart out to God. It's a wonderful story of starting over and finding your way home.

I received a copy of this book from the authors. The review is my own opinion.

I enjoyed this collection of stories that are themed around second chances. Each story is unique from the others, and I appreciated the variety of characters and situations. When I read collections like this I'm always transported to the beautiful countryside and what seems to be a simpler lifestyle. The issues faced by the characters are universal ones and the themes of forgiveness, family, and love are applicable to all readers.

My thoughts: At first I didn't like Eva at all - really, she didn't grow on me much at all, but Ian is a sweetheart and so is little Simeon. I loved Ian's caring and nurturing spirit and how he strove to keep peace with everyone, even when Eva was firing insults and false accusations at him. One has to admire a man like that. Eva was the one with issues to work through, and come to terms with her relationship--or lack thereof--with her parents. A sweet romance.

My thoughts: I can honestly say this is probably the best Beth Wiseman story I've read in years. I liked both Sarah and Abram and I really felt their anguish. Maam's point of view was poignant as well. This story moved me to tears. Loved it.

My thoughts: I really loved the faith message in THE COURAGE TO LOVE. It was so sweet. I greatly enjoyed Irene and Marcus's story and getting to know them. I felt so sorry for Irene and yet she was such a sweet and kind individual despite her abnormal Amish upbringing. Most Amish aren't such obviously bad parents. Going in, Ms. Gray was my favorite author in this collection as I usually love her sweet stories. This stayed true to Ms. Gray's standards.

My thoughts; Atlee is a widower and Carolyn beyond prickly in this middle-age romance. Ms. Fuller is an accomplished author and quite popular and you can see her writing is stellar in this story. Unfortunately, I couldn't relate with Carolyn. I understand why she is as she is but it didn't endear her to me.

Overall, a good collection that Amish fans will greatly enjoy.

I got a copy free. All opinions are my own.

An Amish Homecoming contains four Amish stories by Amy Clipston, Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller and Shelley Shepard Gray. No Place Like Home by Amy Clipston features Eva Dienner who is a widow with a four year old son. She has been living with her in-laws since her husband, Simeon died fighting a fire with his volunteer unit. Eva is now taking her son to see her parents who she has been estranged from since before her marriage. She finds her old friend, Ian Miller living in families daadi haus and helping run her father’s dairy farm. If not for her mother’s interference, Eva could have had a future with Ian. Eva’s son, Junior falls in love with the farm, his grandparents and Ian. Is there a hope Eva can reconcile with her parents? What does the future hold for Eva and Ian?

When Love Returns is written by Beth Wiseman and takes readers to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Sarah Zook and her daughter, Miriam are returning to her parents’ farm after Hurricane Harvey came through. Her apartment is flooded and she needs a place to stay while she earns money. Sarah ran away when she found out she was pregnant and has not heard from her parents since then. Abram is angry that he missed out on the first years of his daughter’s life. His anger disappears after seeing Sarah once again and then meets little Miriam. Abram has never stopped loving Sarah, and Sarah realizes she still loves Abram. But there is something she has yet to tell Abram that could changes his feelings for her.

Shelley Shepard Gray brings us The Courage to Love set in Hart County. Irene Keim has moved into the home of Mary Ruth and Henry Wengerd whom she met on her month long bus trip. Irene has finally found a place that feels like home with people she cares about deeply. Then the Wengerd’s son, Marcus returns home and is not happy to see Irene living with them. He read about the incident in The Budget and does not feel Irene is suitable. Irene does not wish to cause a rift in the Wengerd family and moves into an apartment above the Printed Page. Marcus did not realize how much his parents relied on Irene’s help nor did he take the time to get to know Irene. Mary Ruth and Henry are disappointed in Marcus. Marcus sets out to make amends to Irene and soon learns not to judge a person until you get to know them.

What Love Built by Kathleen Fuller takes us to Birch Creek. Carolyn Yoder has returned to Birch Creek at the urging of her brother, Freemont. She is determined to open a bakery on her own and will not let her family or the community help her. Carolyn soon finds herself out of her depth, but she is unwilling to admit it. Atlee Shetler has been a widower for twelve years and his life has grown stagnant. He is visiting his friend, Thomas Bontrager in Birch Creek when he runs into Carolyn. Atlee can see that Carolyn needs help and finds a way to provide it without injuring her stubborn pride. Atlee enjoys spending time with Carolyn but he is not sure he is ready to love someone new. Carolyn has her own demons haunting her and she will have to confront them to make a new life in Birch Creek.

I found these four novellas to be well-written and pleasing to read. The main characters each have something to overcome in their past if they are to have a happy future (we can all relate). We get to see them conquer adversity thanks to prayer, faith, hope, love, redemption and trusting God. Other Christian themes in the novellas are forgiveness of others as well as ourselves (that is the hardest one) and we can never know God’s plans for us. I enjoyed reading these heartwarming stories. The four tales are quick to read and will lift up your spirits. Each story can be read in one sitting. The four novellas are set in different Amish towns, so the stories are not interconnected. Each story relates to a series written by the author, but they can be read on their own. Fans of these Amish authors will appreciate the four inspiring and endearing novellas in An Amish Homecoming.

This is a collection of four "Prodigal Son" type stories, each from a different author, but with the common thread of the struggles to move back home after being absent for a time. My favorites were the first two, most likely due to the age of the characters (and thus relate-ability), but each story brought something different to the table. Those returning home are met with mixed emotions, including joy at their return, distrust of intentions, and hesitation at becoming too attached (because they may leave again). I enjoy reading these four-novella collections because they are short, bite-sized stories, but have a common thread that pulls the whole book together.

An Amish Homecoming is a compilation of four wonderful short stories written by four great Christian authors. These stories involve Amish ladies who are returning home after being gone for some time. The ladies struggle with how they will be accepted into their community. I really enjoyed reading these stories. They show how sometimes we have to ask others to forgive us for our actions, and we have to forgive others so that we can move on. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading Amish stories.

“No Place Like Home”, by Amy Clipston, is about Eva who left her home and went to live near her husband's family. After the death of her husband, she stays near them so they have their grandson nearby. When her young son asks about meeting her parents, she goes home. She finds their part time farm hand is now working full time and living in her parent's daadihaus. She accuses him of wanting her parent's farm.
“When Love Returns”, by Beth Wiseman, is about Sarah who is forced to go home for a place to stay following Hurricane Harvey. Her parents and ex-boyfriend, Abram, do not know she has a child. Because of an unfortunate incident, she is not sure who the child's father is. Now that she is home, she is forced to work on her relationship with her mother and Abram.
“The Courage to Love”, by Shelley Shepard Gray, is about Irene who has recently lost her English husband. While on a trip she meets the Wengerd's and agrees to work part time for them in exchange for living with them. Their son Marcus does not approve of the arrangement but is forced to apologize to her for his actions.
“What Love Built”, by Kathleen Fuller, is about Carolyn who left her community many years earlier. At her brothers request, she moves back home and is working on opening her dream bakery. She is very head strong and does not allow others to help her. Atlee comes to her bakery one night looking for his friends home and sees that she needs help. He works out an arrangement to help her. But just before the opening, her bakery is vandalized.

No Place Like Home (Amy Clipston) - 4 stars

I feel like I always say this, but Amy Clipston’s novella was just so sweet and cute. I liked the theme of reconciliation, and little Simeon Jr was adorable.

When Love Returns (Beth Wiseman) - 3 stars

There was a lot of sad stuff in this one, between the main character losing her house to the flooding of Hurricane Harvey, to the question of paternity of her young daughter. However, it ended happily, so I ended up liking it overall.

The Courage to Love (Shelley Shepard Gray) - 2.5 stars

I have not read the novel that this novella connects to, so that might be part of my problem. The love interest seemed to go from hating the girl to loving her and wanting to spend all his time with her overnight. It was instalovey, and that detracted somewhat.

What Love Built (Kathleen Fuller) - 2.5 stars

I thought Atlee was really sweet, but I found Carolyn somewhat annoying. I think she was trying to be independent, but she kept pushing people away. I did like that she learned to trust people and let people help her. I’m not sure if this connects to another series (it kind of felt like it did), but I have not read that series so I wasn’t as attached to the characters as I could have been.

Overall I enjoyed these novellas, but Amy Clipston’s was the standout in the collection for me.

One of the best Amish novella collections I have read from four stellar authors in the Amish Genre. Each story is alike in that they all have someone returning home after a long absence and trying to find their way. Each author brings their own unique style to the collection. Beth Wiseman dedicates her story “When Love Returns” to the people impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Sarah has returned home with her daughter and carries a deep secret that has impacted her life and decisions. The characters are easy to identify with and your heart will hurt along with the painful disclosures. I loved how the barriers are broken down between mother and daughter who are both strong women. Amy Clipston pens “No Place Like Home” and has you pulled into Eva’s life after the loss of her husband. Making wrong assumptions about Ian and his motivations in helping her parents leads to an interesting story. I was so happy to read The Courage to Love by Shelley Shepard Gray as I wanted to find out what became of Irene Keim. Ms. Gray never disappoints with her characters. “What Love Built” by Kathleen Fuller had me in tears for Carolyn and how past words can define who we are. These are all wonderful stories that are very real and address past hurts, putting up walls as defense mechanisms, breaking those barriers down with love and forgiveness, and faith always being the center of restoration. This is a very enjoyable read that you won’t want to put down.

You will find this to be a heartwarming collection of novellas written by four of my favorite Amish authors. The relatable characters face struggles, misunderstandings, and the need to sometimes face painful pasts. Forgiveness of others and forgiveness of self are important elements in each story pointing to the importance of having faith and coming home. I enjoy novellas as a break from a full-length novel. These were all-embracing stories with a variety of emotions. Plus, it’s a bargain, four books for the price of one! Check this one out!

An Amish Homecoming is another great collection of Amish stories by some of the best authors. Each story stands on its own, but they all share the theme of someone having suffered some sort of difficulty and finding themselves needing to go back home for comfort, strength, and/or a fresh start.

This set of novellas, like so many others, gives several benefits to readers. For some, it is a chance to try out a new author before deciding to invest in full-length novels. For established fans of Amish fiction, some of the stories provide a chance to revisit characters from other series by the authors. And for any reader, the shorter length provides a bite-sized reading opportunity, each of which can often be finished in one sitting.

I highly recommend An Amish Homecoming to fans of good Amish fiction.

Thanks to BookLook Bloggers for providing a copy of the book. I am happy to provide my own thoughts in this review.

Four novellas by four different authors that could each stand alone, but show a theme of belonging, coming home, or finding a home.
They each had me page-turning and quickly engrossed in what was happening in their story, and when the final page was finished I wanted more, but was happy to go to the next.
Four talented authors offer us stories that keep your attention and some you wish you were there to help, or become part of their family.
Yes, I enjoyed this read, and you can sit down and read one, or as I found myself moving to the next, they are that good!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Zondervan, and was not required to give a positive review.

I enjoyed reading these four novellas about Amish women who return home
And come back to their upbringing. Each story was written by a different
Author and all were tales about hope, love, trust, and kindness and new
Beginnings. I recommend this book to all who enjoy reading simple warm
And tender stories about the Amish people. Each author has other books
They wrote.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

I've read novels by all the authors in this anthology, and for the most part I've enjoyed each of their works, but this anthology really wasn't that interesting to me. Amy Clipston's story tied into the Amish Homestead series, and while I've enjoyed that series, I really didn't enjoy this story as much. Eva came across as too judgemental to me. I did like the romance between her and Ian, and loved how Ian took to Simeon! The story by Beth Wiseman also was a prickly one for me, as I didn't care for Sarah's father's edicts and thought them too high handed, even for an Amish community. However, I did find it to be a realistic story and enjoyed it upon that level. In the story by Shelly Shepard Gray, I felt a little bit lost, but having done some research and finding that this is part of a larger series, has me interested to check out that series to fill in the blanks. Taking it on its own, the story was very moving and engrossing! Kathleen Fuller's story was by far my favorite of the bunch! I loved that it was a romance between older people! My only complaint was that Carolyn was a little too stubborn and proud to accept help, but I liked how she wound up working it out in the end. This is definitely worth reading!

While I enjoyed all four novellas, the third story, Courage to Love by Shelley Shepard Grey, read as part of a larger novel so I felt that I was missing some info. The other three stories seemed to be more stand alone novellas.

4 stars:
No Place Like Home (The Amish Homestead)
The Courage to Love (The Amish of Hart County)
What Love Built (The Amish Letters)

2 stars:
When Love Returns

These stories are about coming home. There is also romance and faith. The religion isn't as big of a part of the stories as the romance. Family is also a big part of the stories. Each also has a happy ending.

What better way to spend a time lost in book than in a book by not just one of my top Amish authors, but by FOUR of them? There really isn't a better way if you ask me. When I received this book to review, I was sick. I didn't want to read much of anything. But I dove into it with highest of hopes to be able to finish it. I read not just Ms. Clipston's novella, but all of them and fell in love with these stories of hope, faith, understanding and acceptance. Each story, written by equally talented authors, is unique and filled with characters that will stay with you long after.  While I loved all the novellas in this story, I will focus on Clipston's and Fuller's.

Amy Clipston's NO PLACE LIKE HOME is beautifully and tenderly written.  Her unique writing style shines through and the messages from God are woven throughout. The characters are chiseled beautifully and I could feel myself walking along side them, as Eva returned home and came face to face with a man she once knew, and know is unsure of. Her story of letting go and moving on, is truly a tender one and one that will have me coming back to this story again and again.

Kathleen Fuller's WHAT LOVE BUILT is another beautiful, moving story. Carolyn quickly stole my heart and when Atlee is introduced, bless! These two sweet souls truly had me pulling for them!  I cold feel their heartaches, their love for the Lord, all of it, as if the story was written just for me. I loved the messages of acceptance, of faith, of trust, all woven together to spin a story I won't soon forget!

These stories together create a 5 star worthy novella collection that will be on my keeper shelf for many years to come. The Amish simplicity and the hope and love within, will forever pull me back. Each author did a wonderful job in their stories and I am looking forward to another collection like this from these talented ladies! Well done, and I highly recommend this book to all!

An Amish Homecoming was a nice collection of Amish novellas. The stories are each additions to various series by the four authors of these novellas, yet the storylines can all be followed easily as stand alones if you have not read any books from those series.

No Place Like Home by Amy Clipton – I really enjoyed this novella and seeing the family that Eva grew up in. I knew Eva from other books, yet this was a peek into her past. It was interesting to see what a headstrong young woman she had been and the tension that brought to the relationship with her mother. I really liked the character, Ian, in this story.

When Love Returns by Beth Wiseman – This was a fascinating story that I enjoyed watching unfold page by page. I liked seeing how much both Sarah Zook and her mother had changed in the years that they had been apart. I thought that the characters learned a lot about unconditional love in this novella.

The Courage to Love by Shelley Shepard Gray – This novella takes a close look at making quick judgments about people. I appreciated the way Marcus learned to look past the gossip that he had heard about Irene and into the real person that she was.

What Love Built by Kathleen Fuller – I had trouble connecting with these characters, even though it was a sweet story. Carolyn frustrated me with her inability to let others lend a helping hand and Atlee frustrated me with his guilt over living life after his first wife died. I did appreciate that these characters eventually began to change and grow by the end of the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

As a longtime fan of all four of the authors, I was delighted to read this collection of novellas.

It’s only natural that as we grow, we decide to leave home for different reasons and under different circumstances just as the characters in this book did.. For most of us we want to visit our family and friends in the communities where we grew up, sadly for some that isn’t as easy as we think. I have always believed that there is no place like home although some of the characters in this book didn’t necessarily agree with that sentiment. As the characters struggle with life changing decisions, I cheered them on to make the right choices for their future happiness.

Each of the authors have written stories of love, loss and new beginnings because that’s what life is about sometimes, no matter how difficult that can be. If you are already a fan of one or all four of the authors you will want to pick up a copy of, An Amish Homecoming and maybe an extra copy for a friend or family member.

No place like Home is the first story in the book ‘An Amish Homecoming’. Like always, I was not disappointed in reading another novella from Amy Clipston. Eva spent years away from her family due to a disagreement. I enjoyed reading about her growth being Back Home and mending her heart. The ending was so touching. Can’t wait to see what the other Novellas have in store.

When love returns is the second Novella in the book ‘An Amish Homecoming.’ I must say that this story has become my favorite in the book so far. Sarah touched my heart with what she went through. This story will touch your heart and remind you that forgiveness is the key no matter what. I would love to read a full story with these characters.

‘The Courage to Love’ is story 3. Even though this story wasn’t your traditional Amish Novella I still enjoyed it. This story is a reminder that you can’t judge others from what you hear or from their past.

I enjoyed story 4 and decided it’s my favorite in the book. This story touched my heart and I didn’t want it to end.
