There were many things that I loved about this study:
It was about revelation, my favorite book of hope.
It was easy to do more or less on days where I had more or less time.
I liked the connection of revelation to other scripture in NT and OT.
I liked that the most pertinent scripture reading was within the study text in two different versions
What I would have liked:
Is to have all scripture within the text
To have some commentary on the other scriptures and how they apply to the revelation text.

I did use my new amplified bible version and it actually had the references of the other scriptures within the text of revelation so I was able to see direct contextual application. However, if I had been using one of my other versions, I would not have had that.

This is a decent study, but it skips so much of the book of Revelations that it seems only half done. It recommends that you read them on your own, but so much of the actual details of the Tribulations and Armageddon is not addressed in the study. His format was OK, but it seemed that many of the questions were fillers, not really making me think. I bought this with two other books, and used them to help. Used with the others, it made this one better, but it was not as good as I hoped.

Nice intro to the book of Revelation for someone who hasn’t read the book previously. It gave our small group a taste of the main points without overwhelming us with details. I will plan to do a more in depth study of revelations in the future since it was more of an introductory companion.
