Familiar spirits operate unnoticed, covertly influencing culture; race relations; religion; and professional, political, and entertainment platforms. Having a consensual relationship with familiar spirits is very dangerous, but it is most harmful to entertain these spirits unaware.
This book exposes how prevalent familiar spirits have become in the church and society, and how Christians can guard against them. Familiar spirits attempt to enter lives unnoticed, so they can get believers to buy into false beliefs and veer down ungodly paths.
No longer can the church see only with natural eyes. Breaking the Power of Familiar Spirits exposes these demonic forces, reveals how they operate, and shows readers how to defeat them. The enemy would like nothing more than to thwart Christians’ destiny. This book will help believers stand against those attacks and break free of harassing spirits they may have unwittingly allowed in their lives.
FEATURES AND Helps readers recognize the activity of familiar spirits Reveals the dangers of tattoos, horoscopes, body piercings, and psychic readings and how they can lead to demonic harassment Includes real-life situations and testimonies, and prayers for defeating these spirits
It was good. I was very shocked at some of the things she mentioned that fall under the category of familiar spirits. She did a good job explaining it and backing it up in scripture. I took a ton of notes.
This book has so much information and very detailed on how to strategize yourself against this spirit. I've been a victim of this spirit and learned the hard way. Thank you for this information, many blessings!
Daniels books are a powerhouse. You should be comfortable with this content. Every one of Daniels books are a heavy hitter. She does not sugarcoat. Daniels covers it all, and how to stay covered.
This was very interesting. The author talks about a lot of things that we have come to just accept as life. Things I wasn’t even aware that has a root in the demonic.
Something she talked about really has me thinking and I will be praying about this, but it was generational curses or sin. I know there is stuff from my family. I don’t know if I can identify the specific one but it is something I need to give consideration to as I see things rising up in my children as well.
Here is a quote I highlighted from the book, “Truth that comes from God does not just inform you; it makes you free!”
There were some things that maybe I have become desensitized to but I also don’t want to be looking for an evil spirit around every corner. It almost seemed like we need to denounce everything even if we don’t use it or say it in away that really means anything. I understand the authors point but sometimes I think we can become a bit extreme as well. I might be wrong, I guess I really need to pray about these things and be open to what Holy Spirit is telling me.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.
Thought I'd read a religious book by a Southern Baptist since I'm experiencing the South right now. While I didn't agree with many of the opinions in the book I did find it fascinating to hear a different voice using familiar terms but in ways that they sounded foreign. The author is one tough lady with a strong calling towards persuasive preaching. I have a lot to think over after reading this book. I was very intrigued with her interpretation of things in the scriptures. It's always interesting to see another persons perspective.
This is a lot to wrap your head around!!! But isn’t everything we can’t see?
I think I read this book too early in my understanding of the spirit realm. I would call this an advanced book lol. So good but still trying to comprehend.
