Hot bad boy with a heart of gold? Check. A strong-willed girl that tries to prove she doesn’t need to be saved? Check. Steamy love scenes that will surely fill one’s wildest fantasies? Check. Notorious by Jennifer Ann gives a glimpse into how people in the South Side live out their life, and how prevalent gang life is for certain people. People try their best to live a life of peace and comfort while attempting to be good people. But sometimes to protect the people you love you have to do bad things. Among all the violence and danger this story holds, there is an all-consuming romance that is growing.
Ryker is the current king of one of the top gangs on the South Side. Some might even go as far as to call him the king now that his uncle has disappeared. After the death of his close friend and the possibility of his uncle being involved in some black market ordeal, Ryker has attempted to stay away from his uncle’s legacy. Instead, he chooses to develop his own through running a garage that specializes in chop-shopping. One night, while at a strip club, he encounters Zoe. She’s a familiar face from high school that proves to be the very thing he needs in his life right now.
Zoe is down on her luck and uses stripping as a way to earn enough money to provide for her sister and herself. When she runs into Ryker one night at work, her whole world gets shifted. Suddenly she’s thrust into Ryker’s world of gang deals, rocker music, and the most influential force of sexual attraction she’s ever encountered. Zoe sees through his hard exterior to the soft heart he keeps hidden from the rest of the world. Ryker only wants to provide for her and keep her away from the crappy life she’s living. As they fall more and more into each other, dangers begin to arise that seek to exploit their feelings for one another. Will their love be able to survive the rough and tough gang lifestyle?
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. The story is full of hot and steamy scenes that would give Fifty Shades a run for its money. There is enough action among the gang environment that sets up the next book in line perfectly and leaves the reader wondering what will come next for these characters. Notorious is the dark, mysterious love story that will make you wish you had your own South Side bad boy to save you from all the evil people out there.

Notorious, book 2 in the Rock Bottom series by Jennifer Ann, does NOT disappoint!
After the wild introduction into the South Side that we got from Outrageous, you are quickly swept up in book two with Ryker and Zoe.
You imagine that these boys could be huge jerks just based on the environment they were raised in and the crap hands they've been dealt, but I really saw a protective, possessive and loving side to Ryker and that makes him one of my top 5 guys of 2018. Sigh. The dichotomy of those two aspects is super intriguing to me.
One of the great aspects of Jennifer Ann's writing is she is all in from book one to the end. This whole world of the Rock Bottom Series invades a reader. I get so lost in her world, wrapped up in her characters that I am always jonesing for more at the end of every book. Book 3 is already on my must have list.
Each story has it's own HEA but in true Jennifer Ann fashion she drops a bomb that will for sure have readers dropping their jaws and begging for more.
Reading time for me was a little over 3 hours. The cover is one of my favorites. *sigh*
This series is coming highly recommended from me. I love the darker themed storylines with ALPHA males, strong females and happily ever afters and that is exactly what you are getting here. I can't wait for more!!!

Another hit by the amazing Jennifer Ann. I'm really enjoying this series because it's a rock star series but also so much more. You get to see the struggle these guys have had to go through to get where they are. Most rock star books the band has already hit it big and you don't get too much back story of how the band members came together. This series you go through the journey of success with them.
This is the story of Ryker and Zoe. Ryker seemed like a dick in the first book but he really redeemed himself and I fell for him right along with Zoe. Zoe I loved her from the start. The love for her sister Charlize really makes you love her that much more and just everything these two girls have been through growing up. You will be cheering for these two to have their happy ending.
A lot happens in this book, it's like a roller coaster ride of suspense that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. It's told in both Ryker and Zoe's povs and it's pretty fast paced. The writing is excellent, sex scenes are hot, and there is drama galore what more can you ask for?? I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens with the guys next.

My review of Outrageous left out a pretty important point that I will go back and correct. This book is about Ryker, nephew to the Crime Lord of South Side MN. In the first book we met Liam, Ryker, Stone & Trask and that story mainly concentrated on Liam & Brooke but this is an inclusive series so to get the most out of it you should start there.
This book picks up five years later and we see how the crew has moved on from some pretty tragic events but there are still more questions than answers to those events. Not as in you face as the first, this book has a softer side but with Zoe as Ryker's ONE, the possibility of disaster is guaranteed. The Rock Star element to both books in reality is goal and in book one it was dabbled in, in this book it came together as a realized dream for the friends with the help from some heavy hitting rockers from another of Jennifer Ann's series. Book three in this series, not released yet is about a character that has disappeared and since I hate loose ends, I will be getting that one too.
So if you like mystery, crime, enduring friendships,hot guys, hotter sex some MC action and a little bit rock & roll - give this series a try

Panty melting, swoon worthy Ryker Blackwood had my heart pounding and kept it that way from the first page to last. He is also a South Side notorious bad boy – seriously, can he get any hotter?! Then he runs into one sexy and feisty Zoe Jackson and he is a goner!
I love that Notorious flowed effortlessly and smoothly where Outrageous left off, so we readers don’t miss a beat. The South Side is still crawling with gang activity, violence, and danger lurking in and around the corners. Ryker and the crew are busy trying to find King Marty and dealing with a huge problem that is Terrance Fisher.
Can Ryker and Zoe make something of their insane chemistry and find a HEA or will the South Side and Terrance Fisher take them both down?
One of my favorite lines in this story comes from Zoe when she says “When forced to suck in a sharp breath, his dark and manly scent slams into me, clenching my thighs hard enough to bust a walnut”. OMG still dying over that line!
This book does end on a cliffhanger (story continues) and I can’t wait to read the next book!

Notorious is book 2 in the Rock Bottom series and holy smokes does Jennifer deliver in this one. Chapter one starts off with a bang and doesn't let up from there. Notorious will keep you turning the pages wanting to find out what happens next and you will not want to put it down. I love how Notorious flows so smoothly and picks up effortlessly with where Outrageous left off. This one is not too be missed, especially if you enjoyed Outrageous. I am definitely hooked on this series and can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next...you know, because of that "hint" she always drops at the end of the previous book that keeps you wanting more. I absolutely love her new darker style of writing with this series than her previous books.

Wow!! Notorious does not disappoint! Ryker I didn't want to like... but wow!! Ryker and Zoe are AMAZING and what it takes to find love is half the fun of getting there. I couldn't put this one down!! I thought I was done and was satisfied after Outrageous nope nope and nope!! This went above and beyond exceptional. Definite MUST READ!! Now I'm hungry for even more!! Jennifer Ann definitely rocks it with the Rock Bottom books

I love the the Rock Bottom Series!! I cannot wait for the next book. Ryker and Zoe's story is gritty and real and captivated me from page one! I love the South Side world that Jennifer Ann has created and I'm 100% invested in the characters. Write faster!

Ryker & Zoe
Another great story by Jennifer Ann. Loved the twists and turns, the intrigue and the steamy scenes. Things come to light in book 2 and it only makes the book better. Loved it!!!
