Britain & O'shea find themselves in love at a young age but life has a funny way of working itself out. After dealing with a traumatic experience Britain moves away only to come back 8 years later. With O'shea being a rapper he lives a lavish lifestyle but can never forget who held his heart.

This story held my attention but it was not my favorite read. A lot of funny moments.I will continue the series.

Really enjoyed this one even though I hate reading books with young x in them, this one was still good. Predictable as far as what was going on with Janea though, I wish the author would’ve tried to hide it a bit more. The ending was a mess though so I have to see just what’s going to happen.

A must read with a great storyline. These characters bring the storyline to life in a major way. Britain and o'shea fall in love after a spin bottle game. Britain a plus size teenager lives with her cracked mother whom she loves but being friends with o'shea changes her world. O'Shea is from the suburbs but with his father the kingpin cheating on his mother he stays at his best friends house all the time it becomes home to him. Now years later Britain is making a name from herself in the fashion world and o shea is a big time rapper and his best friend kenjay is a now the kingpin. Britain and o shea reunite and sparks fly after 8 years, now back together an the public eye on them secrets from their past come back. Kenjay and latavia relationship is comical he has no filter what comes out his mouth an she's loud, but with him being a manwhore and falling for her unexpectedly. So many secrets revealed and snakes around that with trying to be happy and getting revenge a few errors are made and to be continued

Tookie.....

Let's start with the bird, the outbursts were hilarious. Geraldine was also a fun character. I was happy that she overcame her addiction. It takes talent to turn a crack head into a likeable character. I like Britains personality too, she was forgiving and understanding towards O'Shea. I'm happy that you thought outside the box with Britians appearance, getting tired of these carbon copy chicks in urban books. I figured Y was the older man J was with but I was shocked about C. Kenjay was smart but still got caught slippin, dang. I'm always a fan when I can get a good story in one book. I'm glad you didn't drag the Shia thing on for 5 damn books before he even found out about her...lol
I would definitely read another book with these characters, this time with Kenjay and Latavia as mains.

Loved it

This book was everything. I loved Britain's self confidence even as a young girl. She stayed untethered by her circumstances of having a crack head mother. Geraldine was wild and crazy but she managed to look out for her daughter no matter what. O'Neal was another favorite of mines because in spite of his youth, he was able to look past the physical when it came to Britain being full figured and fell really hard for her. His parents were something else though. Yager was a straight monster. Kenjay was hard but not hard enough but met his match with Latavia. Tookie was funny and Janae/Carla was plum crazy. The story had a lot of drama, it was funny and so parts were even sad. It was a good read with a lot going on. The cliff hanger was everything and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series. In fact I can't wait and recommend you to read it too.

You have Britain, O'Shea, Kenjay, Latavia, Geraldine, and Tookie. What is Britain to do when she has a crackhead for a mother and falls in love with a drug dealer's son? What is Britain to do when that drug dealer does everything in his power to keep the to away? Kenjay is O'Shea's friend one robbery sets him on the road to become the drug dealer that he want to be but one night at a party he meets Latavia who is friends with Britain that will change is life? Geraldine is Britain's mother and in a decision that her daughter makes when put her on the road to recovery. Tookie is the talking parrot who will have you laughing at the stuff he repeats that he hears from watching vidoes on t.v., world starr, or from people. There book will have you laughing, crying and damn mad.

Natavia delivers another banger

Great way to start a series. Love Oshea and Brit together. They are adorable. So glad he got his act together, because boy was he pushing it. That dag on Kenjay though, he is a trip. Double standard much? He had met his match with Latavia though. She gets right with his smart behind. That parrot is freaking hilarious. She talks ish about everybody except Brit and Shia. Soooo funny. I can't believe that ending though. Sad that happened to Tammy hoping everything works out for Kenjay and Latavia though.

Certified Banger!!!

Natavia, this book was so good!! I got mad as hell when I got to the end because I wanted to keep reading more. This was a good, solid book that was written very well. I love your style of writing with the humor throughout. It's a breath of fresh air. Between Tookie and Geraldine, I don't know who was funnier. I highly recommend this book and your other books also. I cannot wait for Kenjay's story. Keep up the excellent writing!!!

This storyline was on the romantic side. I was a little skeptical because the characters seemed to be young; however, I was impressed at how well the authoress was able to portray them. The deceit was definitely jaw dropping to say the least. The book was slightly predictable, but nonetheless I enjoyed it. My favorite character is definitely Tookie. That parrot was the truth. I'm glad Oshea got it together.

I have never in my laughed so much reading a book. I was literally in tears and telling people to read certain sections every time I opened the book. The author did a good job with making the characters unique and not stereotypical. The characters weren't just about selling drugs and wearing name brand clothes. They actually had goals and careers and went through realistic family problems. This book was a nice change for this genre and I loved every minute of it.

Let me explain how hard I was laughing at Geraldine and Tookie! I promise these two characters made this hot dang book. This book was strange... not in a bad way it's just that the situations were... odd.. I mean it all came around and made sense but that Carla and Jordan situation... wow.

Kenjay grew on me... him and Latavia... so I am going to continue on to book two... this should be a ride lol.

SHea and Britain!

This is proof that just because you grow up in poverty, does not mean that you cannot raise to the top. To be able to Love someone at young age and continue to have that same love after 8 years of not seeing each other, it was meant to be. Can't wait to read book 2!
