We (adults and children) are enjoying this very much. There's a good mix of logic problems, math puzzles, riddles and deductive reasoning. I'm thinking best for kids who are 11-12 onwards. I say that because that's when I started to actually like doing logic problems, but maybe I started late, I don't know.
Here's an example of one of the easy puzzles:
Let me eat and I will live, but give me water and I will surely die. What am I?
I weigh nothing, but you can see me. Put me in a bucket of water, and I'll make it lighter. What am I?
This book is a great book, for many purposes, for example puzzles to contimplate on. Some of these puzzles are fairly easy and I don't exactly like that. Although most are astonishing and fun to guess. The majority of answers are well written. And I like that. I reccomend this book to imaginative folks. Even if you aren't that good at riddles/puzzles its always fun to challenge another.
Lots of good logic puzzles and a good game. However, I’m in Optical section of questions, trying to determine which image is correct, there are errors. The cards don’t match up to the answer booklet, and it causes lots of confusion and trouble trying to determine if one is actually correct or not. Good game, but needs to be updated with correct answers.
Phew these really do go from easy to difficult. I got flashbacks of the logic games portion of the LSAT, and some of these were just over my head! Fun read and very clever/cute.
This is a nice little collection of puzzles inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Puzzles range from easy to difficult. It includes some puzzles by Lewis Carroll. Nice for fans of logic puzzles or Alice and her adventures.
