Can a cynical mutant bunny-bear who never smiles find love with an eternally optimistic puma?
Kidnapped as a teenager along with his siblings, experimented on and turned into a mutant shifter, rescued, trained, betrayed by a teammate, and brutally injured before being rescued again... any optimism Brock Bunson ever had has been hammered out of him by life.
Then there's Doc - who knows all she needs is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust, and is firm believer in happily-ever-afters. The only mystery about this puma shifter is why no one knows her real name.
When they're sent on a mission together will their different natures be their downfall or set off enough sparks to set the forest ablaze?
Chasing His Puma is the third book in the Big Bad Bunnies series - a steamy standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA! Warning: May contain a dangerously high dosage of Monty-Python and Disney references.
Golden Angel is a USA Today best-selling author of heart and bottom warming romance.
She is happily married, old enough to know better but still too young to care, and a big fan of happily-ever-afters, strong heroes and heroines, and sizzling chemistry.
When not in front of her computer writing, she can be found sewing her next project, hanging out with friends, or wandering the grounds of the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
This series....it’s cracking me up! Golden Angel found the perfect balance between funny, sweet and spicy. Adding a touch of suspense, and voila! you have a series that’s a joy to read!
This time,it’s Brock’s turn. Or Grumpy Brock. He really starts out that way,and especially around that ever cheery Doc. Why does she always have to be thát uplifting? And especially towards him? His Bugaboo doesn’t seem to mind,it likes her ánd her puma even more....
And then he gets to know her,as they’re out on a rescue that turns out to be a trap. And the more he gets to know her,the more he can’t help but like her....She definitely likes him....a lot.
She’s a Disney fan, color me surprised....not!,so this time it’s not just The Holy Grail, and anything Monty Python, but all sorts of Disney quotes popping up along the story. Makes it all the more fun to read! I loved it.
Chasing His Puma by Golden Angel is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Adam Rawn.
This is the third book in the Big Bad Bunnies series. It can be read as a standalone but the stories are interconnected and I would recommend reading them in order for the full experience.
This is the third book of Golden's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Brock and Doc. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was listening to this book.
I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Chasing His Polar Bear so I can get Sheila and Eli's story.
Adam did a great job on the narration. He really brought the story to life. I can't wait to listen to more of his work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances.
Brock is a Rabbit/Turtle/Bear shifter mixture who had been a part of the testing by The Company along with all his siblings. While his siblings seem to have moved on and even found mates, he remains dour and somewhat grumpy. Doc is a puma-shifter who tries to draw Brock out and chatters about Disney movies and positive topics.
Brock comes to realize that Doc has had some adversity in her life, yet chooses to remain positive. When these two are sent on a mission to deliver vaccines, Doc gets to see Brock laugh for the first time, and Brocks animals become rather protective of Doc.
A delightful story of shifters and overcoming adversity. I love the way the animals voices talk to the human – usually in a very humorous manner. Equal parts, danger, romance and humor – an excellent read!!!
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Hot, sexy, funny, quirky and charming. This shifter romance is such an enjoyable read. Brock and Doc have great chemistry that lights up this opposites attract story. Very entertaining and fun read. I am posting a totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.
Grumpy bear-bunny-turtle shifter Brock Bunson gets his own book in the series, when he's sent on a mission to help other shifters with Disney-loving Harley "Doc" Standish. It's a trap, which allows these two people with opposite personalities to get closer, even though she's not looking for a relationship, and he's known for playing the field.
I'm not going to go into the ridiculousness of the premise of this series, with the Bunsons as experimental subjects of a mad scientist that turned them into bear-sized bunny rabbits with bulletproof turtle shells. However, as a couple, Doc and Brock are adorable, with their matching names and adorkable awkwardness. Plus, there's a nice bit about prejudice against the "abnormal" shifters, and how most people come together to stop it. This is a fun book in a good series.
The Big Bad Bunnies series can be read as a stand-alone and I haven't read the previous books. It didn't affect my enjoyment nor my understanding. Characters are briefly introduced, so you know their fit in the story. The way the author reveals the back story is enough to understand the entire happening, but not so much that it overwhelms the main romance.
Okay, I think this is absolutely my favorite book in the series. I absolutely LOVE Doc so freaking much and see so much of myself in her. And the bippty back the f*ck off line, I snort laughed so loud!
I loved seeing how Brock and Doc's story played out. I think the reason why I liked this so much is because I do have a thing for enemy to lovers plots.
And now all the Holy Grail mentions have me wanting to watch Holy Grail.
Big Bad Bunnies, Book 3. Bunnies, wolves, pumas, bears, and more...OH MY!
Brock Bunson's the grouchiest, most sullen, and irritating man Doc Standish has ever met. Doc's definitely the most annoyingly cheerful and upbeat woman Brock's ever known. Who believes in happily-ever-afters and sings Disney songs all day? And what's with her refusal to allow anyone to call her anything but Doc? The constant tension brewing from Brock's daily PT sessions with Doc finally comes to a head at Brady and Jesse's mating ceremony. Doc's had it with Brock and stomps off, after telling him exactly where he can go. Isn't this what both wanted? The female puma shifter is a doctor after all. When The Company kidnapped Brock and his siblings. experimented on them, and turned them into mutated bunny-bear shifters, who could blame any of them for hating doctors? But when Doc shuts Brock out altogether, Brock's shifter half, his "bugaboo," is none too happy. And while she may not outwardly show it, Doc's puma's pretty disgusted with her too. So why does Brock immediately jump to accompany Doc on a 12-hour road trip to treat a skunk shifter surfeit needing medical help? It's just to test his rehabbed shoulder, right? But no one could have seen what comes next. The skunk surfeit's gone. Where? Why? In the blink of an eye, Brock and Doc are under fire. From whom? Is there any escape? And is now really the time for Brock's "bugaboo" and Doc's puma to decide they want each other? Despite all the complications, there's even more at stake. Another call to action splits Steele's forces, bringing the potential for disaster. When the worst happens, Brock and Doc are thrust front and center into the fight of their lives. As events spin out of control, things aren't as they seem. Is there yet another traitor in their midst? It's happened before. There's seems only one person who can be behind all this. One thing is evident. If Doc and Brock are to survive, they're going to have to put their differences aside and accept everything right in front of them. The question is, can they do it? If not, it's not just their lives on the line. Steele's entire pack and the Lakewood compound may have just been betrayed by the biggest evil to walk the earth!
Golden Angel's a genius at creating the most unexpectedly delightful stories. She's totally fearless when it comes to putting her unique spin on any genre of romance. Most shapeshifter stories focus solely on bigger, more ferocious animals (dragons, wolves, bears, and lions, to name a few). Golden Angel makes a tiny twist and turns smaller shifters into creatures who are every bit as predatory, vicious and terrifying as any dragon, bear, or wolf. I love this series for that very reason. Brock and his family were human. Now they're hybrid bunny-bears with bits and pieces of other animals thrown in for good measure. That's an incredible hook that captivated me. But there's far more. Just because some of these shifters are bunnies, squirrels, skunks, and deer, don't for one second think this story is cutesy or weak. Brock and his siblings may be a motley collage of bunnies, bears, and other animals but they're true forces to be reckoned with. While each Bunson sibling is unique and special, there's a deep family love and connection that's survived the fires of hell. It's that deep connection and love that's allowed each to survive, and even thrive, despite the horrors each endured. Brock's a true enigma. Conflicted, confused, and damaged, he feels he has nothing to offer anyone. Doc's a true delight! On the surface, she's bright, funny, loving, and upbeat. But beneath the surface, she's not just a puma shifter. She's known great tragedy and despair. She chooses how she sees the world, and she's as strong a female character as I've seen in a shifter book. Of course, Doc and Brock's story takes center stage in this story. But the other incredible draw is the cast of supporting characters without which the story would never work. Brady, Jesse, Bethany, Steele, Bailey, Brice, and Dr. Montgomery all add layers to this story, making it riveting. Dr. Phil was a particular favorite, lending an air of comic relief that was perfect. I truly adored this book. Thank you, Golden Angel, for yet another surprising and enthralling story that deserves far more than five stars! You're the best!
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and (Amazon) all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
I really enjoyed how there are all types of shifters in this story. The hero is a real tough guy but falls easily for the heroine. Towards the end of the story you really get to see his softer side which I absolutely loved. I also loved having the characters interact with baby shifters. Not many books have that addition in their stories. This had some action, drama, and romance. Just the way I love it. The narrator did a great job bringing the character to life with his voice. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
This is the 3rd book of 5. Although this can be read as a standalone book I suggest starting at the 1st book. You will get more out of this one. Definitely read the 2nd book before this.
Chasing His Puma is the story of the Bunson's middle brother, Brock. He is the quiet one with few words. His attraction to Doc starts off like a elementary school kid. He tries to get on her nerves and when he does he is happy. When they finally get together it isn't in the most ideal places but it makes for an interesting read. Since Brock was taken by The Company at an early age he never really dated so he asks his brother what he did to get Jesse to like him. This was the funniest part of the book. I laughed so hard. Brock is a kid in a grown up body.
From following the author on her Facebook page I know that she likes Monty Python, Harry Potter and Disney. She brings all of these into this book. I like how the author brings her life experience into her books, at least it seems like she does. Doc is a Disney fanatic. Some of the shirts that Doc wears I want to have made, they seem so fun.
At the end Golden Angel always has an Epliogue. In this book there are two. Epilogue 1 ends on a cliff hanger, but will only be a cliff hanger if you start at the 1st book in the series. Epilogue 2 ends normal, it makes me want to read the next book but wasn't a shocker ending. The next book in the series is Chasing His Polar Bear. I wanted Chasing His Honey Badger to be next. This would start where Epilogue 1 ends. I asked the author about this and she said that these two books run concurrently but Chasing His Honey Badger continues past Chasing His Polar Bear. If you read Honey Badger first then it will spoil the ending of Chasing His Polar Bear. (I hope this made sense)
You would think a series that's called the Big Bad Bunnies would be utterly ridiculous. I mean, bunnies are neither big nor bad. Unless, of course, you live in Golden Angel's head. Then it makes total sense and works really well.
Brock Bunson spent 7 years of his life locked up with his siblings in a medical facility by a crazed scientist. His treatments caused them to turn into shifters by unlocking their genetic potential. And I'll bet you can guess what kind of shifters they are turned into? If you guessed bunny, then you were mostly right.
After Brock and his sibs were rescued, he trained to be a soldier to make sure that he could fight the people who were trying to do this to other people. He managed to avoid spending time with doctors until he hurt his shoulder and had to have surgery and PT when he couldn't avoid doctors. It was even worse when he reinjured himself and had to spend time with Doc.
Doc is a puma shifter. She dislikes her first name, barely goes by her second name, and makes everyone call her Doc. She's terminally cheerful. She spends all the PT sessions with Brock talking to him. He's terribly silent and rarely answers back. In fact, she's only seen him smile once. When they are at a party celebrating his brother's mating, Brock tries poking at her and ends up hurting her feelings. So everyone is surprised when he volunteers to go with her on a mission.
Of course, the mission doesn't go smoothly, because what's the fun in that, but fascinating things happen, which can be bad for the characters but good for us.
Golden Angel loves to plant easter eggs throughout her books and that makes it a lot of fun to read. I mean, the story is good to read on its own, but the easter eggs just add in another layer. Doc is a Disney fanatic, so there are all kinds Disney quotes in there. There's also lovely snarky humor. The story is sweet and romantic and full of action. I'm looking forward to the next part of the overall story.
Humor, heat and terrific world-building made for a wonderful story
This is book 3 in the Big Bad Bunnies series, and as I am relatively new to this author, I hadn't read the first two books in the series when I read this. I had previously read the related Night of the Wild Stags, so I'd had an intro into the basics of the world already, and I went back and read the first two books before writing this review. So while you can easily read this as a standalone, I'd suggest reading the series in order for optimum enjoyment, as there is a series storyline that carries over from book to book.
There was the humor and heat that I've come to expect from this author--the title of the series alone is enough to make me laugh. Add in Disney, Harry Potter and Holy Grail references, plus an enemies to lovers kind of storyline (one of my favorite tropes) and this geeky nerd girl was completely hooked. Brock was the perfect, brooding, protective male; that he was occasionally clueless due to circumstances beyond his control just added to his charm. Doc was a smart and strong heroine, and with a puma as her shifter shape, she was far from helpless. I enjoyed their chemistry and watching their relationship develop, and I loved the commentary their individual animals added along the way.
Speaking of their animals, I really like the take this author has on shifters and the set-up for the series. There's action and intrigue to keep the story moving along and nice layers to the world-building. Add in family, friends and colleagues for secondary characters (I loved Brock's relationship with his siblings) and there was plenty to keep me interested and engaged.
Humor, heat, terrific world-building plus great characters all made for a wonderful shifter story and I can't wait to read the next installment in the series. 5 stars
💗Big Bad Bunnies💗Great Story, Great Audible Listen🎧
Chasing His Puma Big Bad Bunnies, Book 3 By: Golden Angel Narrated by: Adam Rawn
Golden Angel continues to bring it to her fascinating and imaginative “Big Bad Bunnies” series. The original storylines & characters are interesting and entertaining. I love how she created shifters of different breeds, some being mixed breeds because of scientific experimentations. The Bunsons were victims of these experiments when they were younger and are hybrid shifters, bunny, bear and turtle. Brock, the grumpiest of the Bunson siblings, is in the hospital recovering from his injury. He has a thing for Doc but with his lack of social skills he is not doing a good job of it. I loved the chemistry between these two. Also loved what he called his animal, Bugaboo, also loved protective he was of Doc & her puma! Doc was too funny with her quotes from Disney movies and Brock with his Monte Python ones. In addition to the great humor and dialogue there is lots of drama, action and some hot romance. I am looking forward to seeing what comes next, see what the traitor Aiden has planned. Golden Angel, thank you for another awesome story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Adam Rawn is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. I love the voices he gave Brock’s Bugaboo and Doc’s Puma. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for great listen🎧
We continue right where we left off in “Chasing His Squirrel.” Brock brooding at the table while looking at his new sister Jesse and brother Brady have their mating ceremony. Doc was trying to have a conversation with him about how both Jesse/Brady and Steele/Bethany found their “happily ever after.” Brock, of course, made a big issue about if it last and just pissed her off.
When they are sent out to help another small shifter group with the new serum, they become bait. This is when it starts getting good. Brock finally starts to understand Doc and her quirkiness. She is adorable with her Disney references. These two are definitely “Beauty and the Beast.” And Brock is cute when he tries to romance her. The younger Bunson’s really need to take some lessons on romance and how to act around their possible mate. But it was cute to read how so out of his element he was on his first date with Doc. You have to give Brock credit though; he is one heck of a lover.
Dr. Montgomery was still the one everyone was after. The Company wanting his knowledge on how he would change shifters into something more was driving them crazy. They constantly had to anticipate the next move. But when they finally try to find the skunks that they were supposed to be saving in the beginning everything went FUBAR.
Now I cant wait to read about Brice. And what is the deal with Aiden. He is one odd duck.
Angel has a series called Big Bad Bunnies and this is book three in the series. Angel does a fantastic job telling the back story of Brock and his siblings without it being boring. She gives enough to a person who hasn’t read books 1 & 2 so they can understand what’s happened. You don’t have to read books 1 & 2 but why wouldn’t you! This story does not have only the usual shifter characters. We have Brock, the Hero, who was part of an experiment that turned him into a hybrid shifter. He is a bunny-bear with a hard turtle shell when he shifts. What! Doc, the heroine & puma shifter, thinks Brock is, well let me quote his favorite movie, “That Rabbit’s Dynamite!” So what does a Disney loving puma shifter see in a shifter with a perpetually RBF! She’s all about the positive, “Remember, you’re the one who can fill the world with sunshine!” and he’s all about the doom & gloom. Until…..
Of course it’s not just a cutesy story! Angel continues to reveal the intrigue she began in books 1 & 2, add in some fine action scenes, and with a healthy dose of her very sexy as heck scenes! Its an exceptional story and characters! I can’t wait to read more of the Big Bad Bunny series!
So, I read all three books in this series over three days’ time. I was completely hooked and in love with the Bunson family and their new friends. I literally couldn’t put my Kindle down.
In this book we have Brock (Grumpy) and Harley (Doc). Brock is a glass half-empty type of guy while Doc is the total opposite. They annoy one another equally in the beginning. After a bit, they start warming up to each other’s personalities. They both learn some info about the other that changes their perspectives.
My favorite line from the book was said by Doc, “The past can hurt, but the way I see it you can either run from it or learn from it.”
Book one had Monty Python quotes. Book two had Harry Potter references. Now book three has Disney Princesses. I’m loving the classic nerd/geek references.
Doc’s Disney obsession was hilarious and her t-shirts adorable. It was also endearing how Brock even got into them. They each quoted Disney lines to one another.
So now we have a year to wait for book four which is about the youngest brother, Brice. I’m not one to wish that time would go faster, but I can make an exception in this case. 😊
I LOVE Golden Angel's books, and this is the perfect example of why. The story is a lot of fun, and even though this is book 3 in this series it can be read as a stand alone. The backstory is explained enough to keep new readers from feeling lost even though they won't have all the details. The backstory of this is one of the things I love the most about this book, and the series as a whole. It is complex and action-packed, without getting too dark or dangerous. The characters are another thing I love about this. Shifter-hybrids are my new favorite thing, and while I'm glad Golden has tapped into the idea, I wonder why other authors haven't. It is pure genius! The humor is another thing I love about this one. The story is full of "nerd references" like quotes from Disney and Monty Python. Those references are so much fun and add a level of depth to the characters that I find endearing. There is also a lot of passion and feels, and the perfect amount of sexy times. If you haven't picked up this series yet, then you are missing out on some of the most entertaining shifter romances out there. Do yourself a huge favor and one-click this and the rest of the series today!
I’m new to this author and wow what a fantastic introduction to her books, there are two other books in this series so some of the other characters in this story had their own books so I do need to get books 1 and 2 to really understand the Brunson family. Brock and his family were kidnaped when they were young, Brock was experimented on and nearly beaten to death then he gets rescued but he has been turned into a shifter part Bunny and bear and he doesn’t trust anyone apart from his family. There’s Doc who is a Puma shifter she believes in happily ever afters but when she meets Brock she’s instantly attracted to him but Brock is rude and nasty to her and he makes Doc cry. Brock is grumpy all the time and he finally feels bad for the way he has treated Doc so he starts doing nice things for her and eventually wins her back. There’s plenty going on in this story to keep you entertained and turning the pages like humour especially the Monty Python and Disney references, drama, action and some pretty sizzling hot scenes. Fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Chasing His Puma is the third book in the Big Bad Bunnies Series and it features the middle brother. Brock is silent, broody, and would be happy with revenge against the doctor who turned him into an unnatural shifter, but his animal is drawn to Doc. Doc is happy, finds the silver linings, loves anything made by Disney, and is completely smitten with Brock. After a six hour car ride that turns into a trap, they start to realize how compatible they truly are, but can their budding romance survive against The Company?
Oh my goodness, this was definitely my favorite book in the series so far! I loved Brock and Doc!! I loved that their names rhymed, I loved that they were like Beauty and the Beast (without the story being a retold fairytale), I loved that Doc helped Brock open up, and I absolutely loved the ending! Brock is my new book boyfriend and Doc is kind of my hero and would love to hang out with her in real life. Their chemistry was really strong and steamy, but I also liked the action in the book and I’m curious about the consequences of the ending. I love the direction that this series is heading in and look forward to the next book in the series!
I hadn't read the others in the series, so I went in completely blind. I wasn't too lost or confused though. Past books are carefully glossed over to where I got the gist of what's happened. There is evil materminds trying to make hybrid shifters and change humans, sexy growly bunny/bear/turtles (it's a thing, and cool as hell), a plethora of different shifters, some mystery, and some romance. Doc is trying to help all shifters and kinda has a crush on Brock. She gets some mean words thrown at her and she's done with Brock. Brock is grumpy, all the time. Yet he realizes after making Doc cry that he may or may not actually like her. After a mission turns into a trap, they get closer.
I enjoyed this story, although a few times it reminded me a bit too much of other popular series. It was funny and as a huge Monty Python fan I loved the quotes. It kept me entertained with the banter and wide array of characters. I'll definitely be picking up the ones that came before this. Brock is a Prince Caveman and I love him.
Chasing His Puma is the 3rd entry in Golden Angel's Big Bad Bunnies series, and I would really recommend reading it as part of the series instead of as a standalone. I haven't yet read the 1st two volumes and I while I wasn't confused by the story line I was aware there was a bunch of backstory with numerous characters that I was missing. As a standalone, it was still a nice romance between the main two characters, with touches of humor and tenderness and of course, sex (hey, you know what you came for, right?) I more familiar with this author in the kink field and Chasing His Puma--for good, bad, or neutral, however you see it--is not a kink book, but a paranormal action-adventure romance. If you've read the 1st two books in Big Bad Bunnies, you will definitely want to pick this one up as well, as the over-arching plot line is advancing here, and reading it as a standalone, I was intrigued enough by the characters to look up the 1st two volumes.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
"For the first time in forever, nothing's in my way."
I think this book does a good job of taking a nerd and strong silent type and putting them together.
Brock is leary of doctors after being kidnapped and experimented on as kids by The Company. So he is not thrilled to have to do physical therapy after he was injured after an attack. He doesn't like having to deal with Doc because she is a chatter box and the glass is always half full.
Doc is always trying to help people but it becomes increasingly difficult with the grumpy bunny-bear, Brock. When they are forced into a situation of needing to rely on one another can they do so? What will happen when they return?
I really liked all the Disney references in this book! I like that Golden Angel makes Doc a independent woman who is not going change herself or her wishes for a man. I like that Brock is broody and moody but has a soft spot for Doc. The only piece that I hesitate with is that Brock changes his personality quiet a bit in the book. Otherwise I definitely think this is another win for Golden Angel!
This is a new series to me, but I have read Golden Angel’s spin-off book Night of the Wild Stags, which is set in the Big Bad Bunnies’ world. Brock is basically a brooding a$$hole that was injured in a battle with The Company. Doc is trying to help and is infatuated with Brock, I mean she has a huge crush on him. Take a puma shifter that loves all things Disney and Harry Potter and mix it with a jaded bear-bunny- turtle (I know) hybrid and sit back and watch the fireworks. At his brother’s mating ceremony Brock say hurtful words to Doc and she washes her hands of him. Basically Brock in flummoxed that Doc is being like this and his shifter side yearns to soothe Doc. Brock and Doc set off a routine mission that goes bad.
I absolutely loved the Disney quotes and Doc’s T-shirt collection. And sexy times between the two were hot. I can’t wait to see where this series goes.
** I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review **
Brock was shifter from an experiment and medical people make him uneasy but he finds he wants to please Doc. Brock and his siblings are the result of an experiment that turned them into shifters with a mix of animal in their make up. He and his family are as a result wary and distrustful of people of a medical background. Doc is treating him after an injury and he finds his inner shifter seems to be happy when she is around which is unusual. Doc keeps her full name a secret but a few are allowed to call her Harley and her use of Doc is a constant reminder of the experiments. But the more he is around her Brock and his inner beast want to make her happy. They are sent on a mission together but walk into a trap and end up hiding in the woods overnight. A fast paced shifter adventure to curl up and enjoy.

I am really enjoying this series. The stories and connecting threads (not to mention the great lead-in at the end of Chasing his Puma) just keep me coming back for more of the fun.
This particular story is not fill with pop culture or Monte Python references but with Doc's favorites - Disney/Pixar! It was almost excruciating watching poor Brock try to woo Doc (oh yes, Bethany gets plenty of mileage out of the Brock and Doc rhyming thing), but a good thing that Doc wanted to be wooed.
Still totally in love with Bethany and her mouth - her reaction to Steele and Thor is priceless.
If you want a bit of naughty, some shifter action, and a bit of fun, grab this book find a comfortable spot and enjoy.
I borrowed this book with Kindle Unlimited and want to thank the author for offering it in the program.

I really love coming back to this world and read more about all the different characters that were introduced throughout the series. If you have read books from this universe before you might know Doc and Brock already. Doc -happy, positive, talkative, Disney fanatic- and Brock -quiet, broody, “caveman”-like- might not seem like they would get a long well because they are so different from one another but that just makes more interesting to see how their relationship develops. Despite their differences they fit well together and compliment each other well.
I can recommend this book to anyone who likes shifters, romance, action and the world the author has created! I can’t to read more about all the characters!
Omg this was a great read .Golden Angel is an amazing storyteller who has created shifters that are completely unique and unlike any others ever written.Doc is a puma shifter and loved of all things Disney. She finds Brock incredibly attractive but he is so standoffish ,he never even smiles.Brock has had a rough life and doesn't have a drop of optimism in him.He thinks Doc is gorgeous and regrets being so mean to her at Time sand when a mission comes up he jumps at the chance to spend a little time with her.A simple over night trip turns out to be a trap and things get crazy.Things heat up between Doc and Brock but will these two get a happily ever after that they both deserve? You will just have to five in and find out.I loved this story it's an amazing read.
Take a female puma shifter who is besotted with Disney movies and quotes and happily ever after, then a jaded, grumpy male bunny-bear-turtle hybrid shifter, who does not believe in happy ends. Add action, danger, adorable shifters, sexiness, humor and then stir slowly. And what do you get? A captivating and wonderfully written story that is hard to put down.
I loved Doc and Brock's chemistry. Something that always made me snicker were the 'conversations' with their 'inner beasts' in their head like: "Show tail? her puma asked enthusiastically." and, of course, the Disney quotes. Golden Angel's vibrant writing style brought the characters alive and made me feel as if I was right there with them. If you like shifters then I highly recommend this book for your next read!
The third book in the Big Bad Bunny series. Which btw is the best series title.
This story we get to know more about the youngest Brunson brother Brock. He is quiet and brooding, The complete opposite of the ever cheery, Disney love Doc. But their animal have a different opinion. I love reading about the animal thoughts.
It was so sweet to see Brock wooing Doc. The collage he made was just perfect and hit the spot. Seeing him open up and starting to enjoy life with Doc. Doc has her own past and fears to deal with, but I loved how optimistic she was and loved life.
And then those tender moments with Mari just made me go aaah.
This book is full of emotions and action. And it made me laugh.
