HOLEY SHEET!
SORDID is completely different from anything that we have read from Nikki. I love me a dark read and for her first go of the genre, she excelled!
Addison is a studious, shy, some-what sheltered college student and has had a crush on Luka since he was her TA in her calculus class. A chance encounter at a Halloween frat party and the SORDID relationship from the two begins from there, a very very twisted and dark one. For someone so overbearing, strong willed, rude, mean, abusive, vile and many more adjectives; Addison held strong against Luka even when she had doubts. Anything you can imagine that is wrong and taboo happened to Addison at the hands of Luka. It so oddly worked for them.
Just a glimpse of what you will encounter.

Reading these characters was intriguing. What fueled them. What made them to be. Where did he learn this. Why did she stay. Did she even have a choice. And more, more, more.
It was a ride that I was not suspecting but welcomed freely! Each turn gave us something new and at times expected but blended so well that you did not even question it. The non sex scenes were even erotic in their own ways. The sex, consensual or not was nothing short of a flame thrower to your sexual hotness meter.. Also, it made you question your morals. My slight ADD did not have an issue with staying focused on this glorious read. I was captivated from page to page, scene to scene, word to word. In Nikki’s flawless style, we were gifted with superb writing, erotic scenes, characters that were so well thought out, and prose that brought every inch of the story together. The only thing I would change is that we got to see his side of things. (*cough* write a novella *cough* Sorry something in my throat.)
This is so not a love story but a story that you instantly love.
Torrid:
Torrid has all the elements that we have come to love and expect from Nikki.
Foreplay.
Suspense.
Drama.
Angst.
Twists.
Turns.
Sex.
Love.
There were parts that just lagged but then would speed up.
The - will they, won’t they - in abundance.
The chemistry was off the charts. The foreplay dance they did was quite impressive.
The revenge that each wanted was equal. Both are strong and are navigating through this unknown feelings of: What is happening to me? Am I feeling feelings for this other person?
Even with all of the above, this took me a little longer to read than I thought it would. It just did not have the power behind it as I thought it would. I did not hate it but I did not love it.

It was one of those books that I just wanted to start over and read again, cuz it was that freaking good!!
I have never read one of Nikki Sloane's books before and OMG, before I even finished reading Sordid, I went to Facebook to stalk her. I came on Goodreads to check out her other books, I want to read more of her books!! I love her writing style and how she keeps you reading on into the night. I even woke up at 3 A.M. and read for an hour cuz I just couldn't get enough. I read this book in less then 24 hours..sooo GOOD!!
This book is about Addison, she is a college student studying for a medical degree. She really did not have a social life, she wasn't homely but incredibly average.
On Halloween night, she decided to dress up in something way out of her comfort zone and go with her roommate and her BF to a frat house party. That's when she ran into a guy named Luka. She had not seen Luka in two years and all those old feelings of studying him when she should have been studying the whiteboard came crashing back. She really didn't know him and him her, but she lusted over this boy years ago.
It took me years to find the courage to speak to Luka. He seemed exactly like me. Intelligent. Focused. Serious.
But he’s not the man I imagined.
His reality is cruel and dark. He traps me in his web, his power twisting tighter the more I struggle, until it’s hopeless. I can’t break free.
As he drags me unwillingly into his filthy world, I can’t ignore the terrifying idea circling my mind. What if I belong here with him?
There is an Author's Note in the beginning of the book stating that this is not her typical type of book to write, but she had to get this book out of her head...These characters would not shut up in her brain..lol And I am sooo excited that I got to read this book by her!! I'm soo excited that she wrote this book and it was my first book that introduced me to her!!
Please also be aware that there are situations in this book that may be triggers and scenes which may make some readers uncomfortable.
Nikki Sloane does dedicate this book to anyone with a black or twisted soul, or those who get turned on by something when they feel like they really shouldn't.......So yes...this is right up my ally!!

Addison Drake is a pre-med college student who gets good grades and is a good girl all around. Luka Markovic was a teacher assistant in Addisons calculus class while studying for his MBA. He has since graduate and works in his family business. He is controlled but when he meets Addison at a frat party he loses control. Lines are crossed, a predicament that places Addison in a family that has so many secrets. Luka is hell-bent on keeping her even though he knows he is putting her at risk. Can Addison survive her ordeal and can she ever forgive Luka? This book will push boundaries and there is a trigger warning. The book was erotic with enough smex to smolder your kindle. Overall I enjoyed the story and the writing was good. The book has dark undertones, the plot was good but not brilliant. I felt like the character development needed something more. However, it still kept me engaged and definitely made me think.

Oksana has a debt to settle but she needs help. Who better, than to have by her side but the Serbian, Vasilije. But how can she get him to notice her? When she does, he falls for her and does not realize he has been played. Vasilije is dark, dangerous, and super sexual. There is something about the mysterious Oksana that calls to him. She almost seems as dark as he is. What happens when he realizes she has played him, or will he turn the cards on her? Torrid is super sexy, darkly sensual and erotic. The story flowed and the heroine takes center stage by being a strong woman, determined to do what she set out to do. You have to admire her for playing a game and making the choices she does. The chemistry was off the charts. If you are looking for a fast-paced steamy read, then this one comes with some splendid plot twists and explosive chemistry.

I had the opportunity to read Torrid and it is beyond mind blowing and totally erotic. This story will drawn you into its grasp with its twists and turns, secrets,& the darkness and depraved, the erotic and the kinky… this is one story that will have you entranced from page 1 until the very last page.
Oksana and Vasilije are very compelling characters, ones that you want to know everything about and you cant help but get hooked on their story and you are hooked reading just to see what is going to happen next.
I dare not go into depth because I could give spoilers away and I do not want to ruin anyone’s reading experience on this phenomenal read. This is definitely a dark romance read, perfect for fans because it is gritty, edgy and all consuming that it took my heart to the edge and then back from the brink with all that went on. Note , there is a small appearance from Luka and Addison(the main couple in book 1). You definitely need to read if the secrets are too much and if Oksana & Vasilije survive when all comes out… This is one awesome read!

This was absolutely horrible and I am so disappointed because of it.
I have been obsessed with Nikki Sloane’s other works but this one fell horribly off the ledge for me.
It’s the nonconsent while training a sub that completely ruined it for me. And then the FMC essentially gets Stockholm Syndrome while the MMC has no remorse. No thank you.

4.5 blazing stars!!
These two books opened my eyes to another world! Unapologetic Alpha-holes the lot of them! Sometimes I got angry with how doormat like the women were. Really wanted to reach into the books and witch slap the Anti-hero’s for their d%ckish ways…
Both stories had fire and drama and page turning action. You were never positive what was happening next and I loved the mystery & anticipation of it all. Took me a little while to read but overall, a ste%my exciting mysterious read!

A delicious, dark duet!!!!!

Sordid.... What a ride. Holy wow. As I dove into this book I spent the first couple chapters thinking this is crazy. This is so dark. But I pushed through. Somewhere around chapter 5 things shifted. And then it escalated and escalated. I just couldn't imagine what direction this book was going to take. But then it all came together and the ending - whoa! I was not expecting that. If you want to try something dark, gritty and hot that will make you a little uncomfortable then this is a book for you. Not my usual read but definitely intriguing. This was Luka & Addison's story. I would definitely read more about the Markovics' Family, especially Luka's brother Vasilije!

Nikki Sloane delivers again!!! Raw, gritty & sensual. Torrid is a stand-alone and is not a continuation of the Amazon-banned Sordid. This is Vasilije’s story…….
Vasilije is next in line to take over the Markovic Serbian Empire. He is cocky, dominant, controlling and impulsive.

I highly recommend the series starting with Sordid. But, be aware that the first book – Sordid is much darker and has some content that is not for everyone.

This stormy dark romance with the complex captivating main characters, Addison Drake and Luka Markovic, was set in a violently savage world of crime lords and territorial struggles. The violence in Luka's lifestyle became apparent to Addison quickly and in a horrific manner. Watching these two characters struggle to understand the other person's behavior while slowly discovering their need to be together was a fascinating experience. The hostility Luke directed toward Allison left her feeling
confused and emotionally bruised most of the time. However, the more time spent with Luka, the more she seemed to understand his behavior. Slowly these two characters developed an unbelievable bond. This fast paced drama will keep you off balance with its unexpected violence and surprisingly steamy scenes of passion. Buckle up and hang on. It's an amazing ride!!!!

I knew nothing about this duet except that Sordid on its own had been banned. So of course I bought this duo and wow...left me speechless and quite on edge for days while reading.
I have read many books dealing with domination, rape, non-con sexual encounters...you name it and I've probably read it. This duet had it all and although it was intense and painful at times, I loved it. The Mafia families, the lies and secrets and the children who take over control...exciting and bloody.
If you like your "romances" pitch black dark...you will want to read this one.

Wow! Not sure why the first book was banned from amazon. Luka and Addison where do I begin.. they meet at a frat party but secretly had the hots for each other from a couple years earlier when they were in the same class, things dont work out as plan at party and she winds up in his home as his prisoner. it just gets better from there. a must read to see how it all unfolds.
The second book is the younger brother. I loved Vasijile and Oksana. the two of them were just great together. He thinks he is getting a russian whore from a warehouse exchange gone bad but instead gets his enemy number one illegitimate daughter. its so many twist and turns that I couldn't put down. I just loaned to a friend to read because I couldn't stop talking about it.

The Sordid Duet
Both of these books were amazing as you see how different the brothers are. They fall hard for their mates. As the plots continue, you start to see a warmer side to the boys. Nikki does a splendid job showcasing the two different types of men and their women. I'd suggest you read these!

Speechless
Hard but yet soft. Cruel but still loving.... OMG!!! From page one, you can't stop, makes you want more. Each brother different, but still the same at times. Loved it!!!! I need more!!!!

Disappointed
I enjoy Nikki Sloane’s book, but this was not good at all. Huge departure from Blindfold Club series. Don’t waste your money on this one.
