After Nathan Parker broke her heart eight years ago, Elizabeth Watson left to work as a nurse with Doctors Without Borders while he went on to become one of the top oncologists in the United States. When her mother is diagnosed with cancer, Elizabeth is forced to face the love of her life again. While half the globe separated them, Nathan could pretend she didn’t exist. But having her around throws his orderly life into chaos as all his old feelings bubble to the surface. Facing their past is the only way to move on, but what does their future hold? Can true love ever die?
An inspirational second chance romance about the power of love and forgiveness.
Never stopped loving her? I guess that means you loved her when you asked the OW to marry you that you dated for two years?? And you probably slept with her too but you always loved her. How convenient. Just yuk! I hate the hero so much I am not sure I can finish it. He was so glad she hadn't dated anyone while they were apart but he sure did. I am just sick of these storylines. It's clean so it doesn't tell you if had slept with anyone, he was engaged so I am sure he did, and that annoys me too. I may have to DNF it.
I finished it and I hated it. Enough said. If she hadn't come back, he would never have looked for her. He was a self centered jerk and he should've married Simone because they looked good together. Good heavens. What a loser.

A quick read, it was surprisingly engaging. Getting together after long separations doesn't always work for me but in this case the focus was on the H coming to the realisation that he'd made a huge mistake in letting the h go the first time and that worked well for me, the next stage with the h giving the H another chance didn't. It was too rushed, but then this was a short read.
Do we believe that “First L♥️VE never dies !?!” Oh yes👌
This is my very first time experience with this super, super🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 x 5 brightest twinkling stars for this magical book, and for sure it will not be the last from this super talented author👌💞 Isn’t it awesome when the one that you ever loved, the very first time in your young life, would eventually become your one true first love, too? For the beautiful Elizabeth and gorgeous Nathan, their attraction started quite early, they fell deeply in love with each other, both dedicated in their respective career... Nathan became a full pledged Doctor, specializing in cancer treatment, being an Oncologist was his dream come true! Likewise, with Elizabeth’s Nursing degree, they both found themselves working together in the same hospital, while very much happily in ❤️ love, leading to an unexpected proposal from Nathan, happening of all places, in a parking lot! Obviously Nathan could no longer wait, mesmerizing Elizabeth who breathlessly responded with her resounding Yes ♥️💞🎊 of course, I will marry you, I love you so much !! Meanwhile Doctors Without Borders was getting popular for young medical graduates at this time. Elizabeth was personally drawn towards this noble group associated with Doctors and Nurses giving their time and knowledge for those in need, usually happening in the third world countries. She was hoping Nathan would be interested as well. Meanwhile wedding plans were in place, but on that same day, Nathan heartlessly delivered a bombshell by saying taking a break until they were both ready. Because as it turned out, he was more interested in building his career into becoming a great oncologist, his lifelong dreams ever since in college. Without a word, Elizabeth turned around and left, leaving Nathan like he lost his marbles ... good for him (I told myself, like I was a witness over their break up!) Elizabeth joined the Doctors Without Borders as she originally planned, dedicated her noble profession for eight years, visiting once in a while her mom and little sister Kate. Zero contact whatsoever with faithless Nathan, although she didn’t lose contact with their mutual friend William, also a doctor at same hospital with Nathan. Elizabeth’s mom Diane sudden illness brought her back home after almost a decade. At the hospital with Kate, family reunion was tearful but joyful. Nathan’s sudden entrance in the room turned extremely awkward... because her mom, a cancer patient, was under Nathan’s supervision. Heart-wrenching situations, lots and lots of adjustments. In fact, Nathan tried moving on after eight years without a single contact with Elizabeth, but everything never worked, breaking off with a fiancée, an attempt of an engagement, he realized he never wanted, six months before he even saw Elizabeth came back for her mom. No one has came up to the pedestal he kept for Elizabeth. Mother knows best, right? Well, in this beautifully created love story, Diane whose wisdom has been recorded well in her household, finally used her magic wand...and presto !!!Elizabeth and Nathan who vowed both never stopped loving each other, got married, bearing a son, and celebrating Diane having been cured from cancer. Her doctor and son in law was so proud and so happy having been forgiven and coming back as one family once again💕🙏 A HAE love story, despite twists and turns, has always been my cup of tea ... especially when the main female character is a beautiful pure virginal Angel heroine, and wishing the male hero would be the same (sadly this seldom happens) well, be that as it may, this book still made an impact upon my top book of the month 👌
The story was fantastic as were the characters. Here's where it fell short. 1. It's told from a third person pov, which is great, but it's too broad at times. Right as the author is developing an emotional connection between the character and the reader, she switched to another characters pov essentially losing that connection before it was secured. I never fully became enraptured in the emotions of the characters because of these abrupt switches and as this is an emotionally charged story, it just wasn't enough power to hold my connection to the characters. 2. The characters falling in love is the back story while the actual story picks up years later. This has worked in many a book but this one failed in doing this because there is not enough reference to how they fell in love. We see their heartbreak but their actual love story isn't told, only referenced here and there. I had thought they'd met in college but then later saw it had been in high school but then they had also grown up together so I think maybe before that? Not really sure why it how they originally fell in love though it sounds like maybe a story worth reading. This book would benefit from either a really good prologue or a few flashbacks to give me a better feel for their chemistry and how their relationship originally developed. It's hard to really understand the heartbreak when I didn't really know much about their connection to begin with. But I do love the idea of this book, I loved her sister and Bill and her mother and how each of them worked into the story. I just feel this book could use a little polishing to engage the reader a bit more. But still an easy read and I will be reading Kate's story next.
Eight years ago, Nathan Parker broke Elizabeth Watson’s heart and their engagement. She fled anguish and his abandonment. “She had decided long ago that she wasn’t going to let Nathan’s memory make her heart bleed at every turn.” Nathan had bought into the idea that he couldn’t have her and advance his career. He had “traded their love and future together to make himself the best oncologist in the state.” But, he missed her “every moment of every day.” Choosing his career left him with success and a life of loneliness. “She never made plans more than 2-3 months out. If you don’t have plans, then you can’t be disappointed.” It is finally time for them to face the past and heal.
I passionately adored Kate and her fierce protectiveness of Elizabeth and her hostility toward Nathan. She was the perfect foil to mother Diane’s deep faith, compassion, and strength through trials and adversity. No one is immune to loss and heartache. Facing the uncertain future with faith and hope allows us to move forward.
A dash of drama, a love triangle, and devoted family and friends make this a thoroughly enjoyable and touching story of second chances.
Never Stopped Loving You : Doctors in Love Series Book 1 is by Emma Kingsley. This book is about second chances. Who gets second chances and how do they deal with them? Do they actually see their opportunity and take the chance to see it through again? How do others in their lives deal with the second chance? Emma Watson was on her way home from Doctor Without Borders to help take care of her Mother who was stricken with cancer. She knew it would be a hard battle; but she also knew that her Mother had the finest oncology doctor in the world, Nathan Parker. She hadn’t seen Nathan in 10 years since he broke their engagement. She didn’t want to see him; but she knew she would have to since he was her Mother’s doctor. Nathan Parker was as anxious as Emma at the thought of seeing her again. He knew he had been wrong 10 years ago and knew she hadn’t forgiven him. He knew that he loved her still but didn’t know which way to turn. Watching these two maneuver themselves around to talk while still keeping an eye on her Mother’s condition is intriguing. It keeps you reading.
Elizabeth and Nathan’s story is truly amazing. The characters in this book are all very special people who will feel like a part of your family by the end of this book. You will feel God working throughout this whole story. Watching Elizabeth try to fight her feelings for Nathan will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. This book is hard to stop reading. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
Nathan and Elizabeth had the perfect love story, then it suddenly ended. Never stopped loving you is their second chance. This book is about love, faith, heartbreak and forgiveness. It is written with care and sensitivity which means the reader can't help but care about the characters .. all of them. I definitely recommend this book to everyone.
I like that Elizabeth and Nathan relationship wasn't smooth sailing. At times the dialogue seem too cheesy but some readers will like it. It was a nice and enjoyable short read.
I can say this felt predictable from the start but, the characters were so heartfelt i needed to see how their shortlisted out. It was great to see scripture woven into the details. I really enjoyed the ride.
This is a great book. The story of Elizabeth and Nathan's life is breathtaking. How they handled disappointment is a lesson we should all follow. This is a Very Good Read.
I enjoyed the storyline & the characters interaction. The dialogue was choppy in random areas in the book. The pain in a failed relationship effects more than just txt two people. This book covers that well.
