Recently, Susan has added to her writing skills, and her new adventure is fully illustrated children’s books. Susan was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1966, and enjoys a good chinwag with family and friends, road trips with her husband, cups of tea, day-dreaming and writing.
Susan has always worked in many facets of an office during her life, but in 2012 she decided life was too short and wanted to make a start on her passion, which was writing. After acquiring her novel writing diploma from the Australian College of Journalism, she continues to create worlds where fantasy and romance exists, with her books. Keep an eye out for Susan’s new writing adventure, which is children’s first reader fully illustrated books

Attraction is book 1 in the Lepidoptera Vampire Series by Susan Hoddy.
Two sisters, Violette and Danielle live with their foster carers after losing their parents in a horrific accident, soon after they move from LA to Bagnolet, France where Violette meets Michael, a strong and charming vampire, their attraction to each other is instantaneous and so begins the romantic tale of two wickedly fun and dazzling bloodsuckers, and needless to say you can’t have a story without a gang of debauched vampires terrorising humans.
A very straightforward and light read. The storyline was good, however it could have been more meatier. The cast is great though the dialogue between all the characters is a tad too gooey and cutesy, not that there is anything wrong with mushy interactions but more grit and fire given to some of the characters dialogue would give them their own voice and stand out more.
Overall, a fun, entertaining and not too frightening read about vampires, and the mind talk... a great addition.
Already onto book #2 and loving it.

A very good read. Violette is another female that does the opposite of what she is told and gets kidnapped. Michael then has to rescue her. I am going to continue this to find out what happens. Thank goodness it didn't end with a cliffhanger I didn't like

It was a captivating and easy to read story. It all flowed nicely as a series. It was easy to read and I really enjoyed reading this book and series.

This is a great first book, I really enjoyed this author Susan writes a beautiful story I'm for sure checking our the rest in the series great job!!!

This book grips you from page one. I stayed up way to late to finish it. The characters are loveable, and the action never stops. This author has an awesome writing style. I already desperately want book 2. I recommend for mature adults, due to some very steamy love scenes.

Susan’s Lepidoptera Vampire Series of books was a very interesting read. She gives us a somewhat different and very imaginative version of the exciting lives of an opulent vampire coven. If you enjoy a saucy vampire romance, then this is the book series for you.

I fell in love with this series a few years ago now I have reread the whole series at least 5 times. Absolutely captivating!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Susan at a book signing she is truly an amazing lady.

Really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Kept me interested and was a page turner for me.
