Some people claim to have their hearts ripped out of their chests. To feel the world shift under their feet. To feel intoxicated by love.
Miles Wittman, the bassist for the rock band Trained in Black, felt those things until the shift became a hole and dragged him into darkness. His mind clouded by years of alcohol abuse, the man remembers very little of the last two years of his life.
Until her. A woman from his past. Julia Nulty, the band's manager sister, the sexy, exotic plus-sized model.
Bits and pieces of his memory start to surface after the two of them are caught up in an unexpected photo shoot. She’s rocked his world. He feels the shift. The intoxication. But Miles, he has no recollection of the night they spent together. If he finds out the truth of what happened, it could possibly lead him back to the darkness.
And Julia, she holds the secret. A secret that could send Miles back into the dark or straight to his grave.

All This Time will leave you spinning wondering about life and all of your past mistakes. The heartache and pain of pushing through your days pour off of each page. Through the turmoil of past sins, the beauty shines through.
Coopmans painted up a perfect masterpiece of redemption, honesty, and raw love. Just like real life, it's not always easy to read. The thing is life isn't always a beautiful ride. But once you remain standing through the storm the rest is everything.
This book will give you everything. You won't regret taking a chance on, All This Time.
Coopmans, takes you on a journey that leaves you emotionally raw. She leads you through the path of fighting through heartache, and loss to find love. This is one you don't want to miss.
5 STARS FOR THIS HEARTFELT BOOK!! This book pulled on my heartstrings right from the beginning. My poor heart needed to be resuscitated a couple of times throughout this story. Miles and Julia's story is beautifully written and heartbreaking, but you need to hear it. Thank you Kathy Coopmans, for giving us these unforgettable stories in this series.
So, I will be the first to admit, I am not a huge rocker story fan. But there is just something about how Kathy Coopmans weaves her words that I am glued to it no matter what it is. Her words are emotional, raw and just down right stunning. So when I dived into All This Time, I was excited and nervous. Excited because it was Miles’s story finally. Nervous because it is a rocker romance. But my mind was blow. My heart was broken and put back together all in one. The pain that both Miles and Julia experienced through the years is so raw and emotional that you want to bawl and just hug both of them but also yell at them for being so stubborn. What I really loved is seeing how Miles has developed through this series. That we finally get to experience everything he went through and became the man he was and how he was trying to fix it with the help of his band mates. The one thing I really adored about this book is how real it felt. The pain. The love. The passion. Everything. How they went through the motions of rehashing their past together and forging a future for themselves. I love how protective Miles is of Julia and I absolutely adored how strong Julia was no matter what was thrown at her. She held her head high. Aka her momma is a meaniepoopiehead. Not gonna say how I really feel! Will take a word from my daughter!!! Overall, this book is sheer brilliance and absolutely breathtaking. Coopmans wove some of herself not just in the words but more and I honestly cried. Thank you for that Kathy because it made me bawl. And I do not cry easily! Run do not walk to read this book and the others. They are worth it. So so worth it!
All This Time by Kathy Coopmans is one of those books that just pulls at your heart. You are going to have so many feels when you read this book.
Miles has been so broken for years after the tragedy he suffered when he was just a teenager. His world turned black and no one, not even his band mates could turn that around. Only one person had ever made him feel since his heart was shattered and he just walked away. Now two years later, not remembering much of his past due to all the drinking and abuse of his body, he runs into his managers sister, who is a gorgeous plus sized model. The chemistry is off the charts between him and Julia. He knows there is a connection, but he can’t remember.
Julia is heartbroken that he doesn’t remember her and she too is healing from an abusive mother and pain in her past. She can’t let herself go down the road of self doubt again.
I absolutely loved watching Miles and Julia’s story unfold. Seeing them both become the people they want to be. It does not come easy and it is not without pain, but the healing of their hearts makes their love story so much better!
Another great story by Kathy Coopmans. Miles has been through some of the worst years and Julia is the key to helping him overcome. I loved reading their story and how they were both able to overcome past abuse/issues to move forward.
I’m really loving this series. I knew from the last book that getting Miles’s story was going to pull at the heartstrings. Then throwing in Julia’s story as well...just wow.
Julia’s story was just as heartbreaking as Miles’s story was but in different ways. The torture and hurtful words she had to endure from the hands of her own mother just killed me. But I loved Julia and how she did her best to make a better life for herself and other children who were dealt a horrible hand at life.
Seeing Miles overcome his heartbreak and addiction to alcohol was amazing. It was like he truly grew up in the pages of this book and became the man his band mates and Julia knew he could be.
Their story and love is truly beautiful. Loved every word. Now I want Brock’s story. Definitely don’t want this series to end anytime soon.
All This Time by Kathy Coopmans is a story that is rich in emotions, feelings, thoughts and belief. Julia and Miles have troubled pasts that continue to come back and haunt them even to this day. Miles’s troubles go back to when he was a teenager and turned his world dark and haunt him to present day. Not even his bandmates have been able to save him or piece him back together except one woman named Julia. And Miles let his demons ruin them several years before and he walked away from her. Julia herself has problems as well and she deals with her own troubles in her own way. WOW, I found myself really amazed by the strength in Julia and how she just pushed forward considering the pain in her past. When Miles and Julia happen to bump into each again at a photo shoot 2 years later, seems those old feelings haven’t died, they were slumbering and have burst back into flames at seeing each other. The sparks are still there, the connection is alive and wow they still have that chemistry. We get to see them tackle the pain and trauma in their past and strive to come out on the other side of all the pain that they both have been thru. Julia and Miles are really good for each other. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but I will say, this is one feel good rocker romance. The FEELS in this story are amazing, the passion is steamy and the characters are so thru the roof beyond epic—I do want to say, all the characters in these series’ books are interconnected so even they can be read as standalone, I would say read every book in the series. I found this to be an fabulous story of highs and lows, ups and downs, twists and turns. Of all, I found Miles and Julia’s love story one of pain. hopelessness. Forgiveness. Passion. Hope. And Love. This is one that tissues will be needed. And it is so worth it!!!
My Rating: 4.6 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
This is another very well written book in the ongoing Sweet Sin series and this time it's Miles and Julia's story.
Julia and Miles have troubled pasts that are still affecting their lives to this day. Miles being part of the rock band Trained In Black has issues with alcohol addiction masking a tragic experience that ripped his heart wide open and one he has never fully recovered from. Julia as well has problems, and she deals with them in the only way she knows how; this woman is one strong lady and it comes across well in this story. When after two years Miles and Julia happen to bump into each again at a photo shoot, all those old feelings come roaring back towards them at full force.
All the characters in these books are interconnected so even though they can be read as standalone's you do get that added enjoyment of catching up with the characters we have previously read about, which is definitely a bonus.
This is a good all-round story that I enjoyed, however, for me, there wasn't quite enough "passion" in this story, not enough fire to make you hang on every word. I felt it fell a little flat in places where there could have been so much more angst. It was just a little predictable and safe for me.
If there is a way to make me even more happy then when I get a new book let me know. But either way I don't care because I love books, I love the way they make me feel, I love the possibility to dream and freak out. Lol. Kathy Coopmans has been a constant in my reading life and I fell in love with her since the first book. It was love at first chapter. Lol and after that it's a bond for life. Her writing is hot and wild, sassy and steamy, beautiful and heartfelt. Each chapter will make you dream... Go with it. All This Time is her latest release and tells the stories of Miles and Julia. This new book is the third book from the Sweet Sin series. Guys, despite all books are standalones you really should read all books in order, The Right Direction, Where There's Smoke and then this one. Trust me... You'll fall in love... Miles is the bassist for the Trained in Black band and he's good at what he does. Despite being a beast on stage, he hides so much from his past behind alcohol. He can't remember his last two years. How can you be hole again after you witness your heart being ripped out of your chest? And then his past... Julia is an exotic plus-sized model that loves her body. Her childhood wasn't easy mainly because her mother was a Bit... With a capital B. For her, only the outside counts, she always wanted to pass an image that wasn't true. After that, Julia moved out and started her life away from her mother, with the help from her brother Marcus. We know Marcus from previous books since he's the manager of this band. Now, after years Julia and Miles bump into each other and now... How can you not remember? How can you overcome that feeling that something is missing? How can you move on when you are stuck in the past? When this book ended I was amazed, I was smiling but also sad. Amazed because it was a breathtaking story that melted my heart. Smiling because the story progressed just like I thought it would and sad because it's over. Am I greedy for wanting more? Honestly I don't care because I do want more. The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter showed the rawness behind each emotion, every scene was described in every tiny detail and it felt like I was near them. Of course that there were parts of the story that I saw myself wanting to slap someone for being a stubborn arse but there were others that I wanted to hold them and promise that better days would come. Reading this book felt like someone was crushing your heart, ripping it out of your chest, mended it together and then put it back in. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. And sweet lord the hot scenes are to die for. Sexyness all around them but with so much love in between. It was a pleasure to hear from the other characters. I missed them and I want more. Can't wait for Brock's story... I'm so curious... Kathy this book was my undoing. Each chapter hooked me up even more than the previous and being greedy I wanted more. Please tell me that the next book will come soon.. I can't wait. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Bravo Kathy Coopmans for the All This Time, book 3 in the Sweet Sins Series, it just keeps getting better and better, and it was PHENOMENAL to begin with. When you read this book ladies, bring some tissues. Ms. Coopmans will take you on a VERY emotional ride with this one. O!M!G! Miles Wittmann is I think my absolute favorite hero in this series. There in a line in the blurb for this book: “Some people claim to have their hearts ripped out of their chests.” This was a very apt description for this book and Miles and Julia story. When I was reading the beginning of this book, by heart broke in two for Miles. Sorry ladies, not giving any spoilers away. I fully understand the spiral downfall into alcoholism that Miles went into. He wanted to drown the memories away. Unfortunately, he wiped one very big memory away. Now, after a year long stint in rehab, and counseling that his band mates forced him to go to, he has returned into the fold of his bandmates, their families, and their manager and his sister Julia. Julia is one strong, kick butt woman, with vulnerabilities as well. Julia watched Miles go through his hell, watched him go through women as well, and died just a little with each one he brought home. You see, she has been in love with him for a long time. Even after the night they made love and he was gone the morning after without a backwards glance. Now, three years later, they meet again, and he does not remember her, let alone their night together. But, WOW the sparks still ignite between them. This book is my favorite type of romance. A romance that brings ALL the emotions front and center. It made me laugh in places. It totally made me cry in places. It made me so angry that I wanted to throat punch Julia’s mother ALL OF THE TIME (how could she do that to her own child)!!! Then, when Julia told Miles…. Darn, I said no spoilers…. Let me say this, I had a ugly cry there. I was ecstatic to be gifted with an early copy of this book. I am forever thankful. Thank you, Kathy Coopmans for sharing your PHENOMENAL gift of writing with your readers. I have found out over the last year and a half, that ANY book that I pick up that is written by this wonderfully talented author is going to be a great read. Thank you for reading my review.
Absolutely loved it! When you've hit rock bottom and rise from the ashes and start over is how I would describe the story of Miles and Julia. Miles lost his heart when he was 18 and never really recovered. He did one thing and joined a band with his friend and rocked into stardom, but his demons drove him to the bottom of the bottle. With the encouragement of his friends/band mates he finally got the help he needed to live again kinda. Julia has known Miles for years but she realizes that he's come back from rehab without the memory of her. She wishes he would remember but instead there is a game they play because the sexual tension is evident to everyone around them. She decides he needs to put up or be done and gives him the ultimatum. Will these two move on together or apart? Kathy well done with Miles and Julia. You wrote about everyday tragedy and abuse in it's different forms and brought together two broken souls that were meant for each other. The flow of your writing kept me interested and wanting to know how the story was going to end. Your broken characters are lovable in every way with their strengths and weaknesses. ***Sweet & Spicy Reads reviewed, ARC provided in return for an honest review***
This is Miles and Julia's story and right from the prologue you know this is going to be an emotional read.
Miles is known as the bad boy of the band but now we get to know why and what his demons are. His back story is heart breaking, the author writes it so well you feel his pain and devastation. Julia has her own troubles she has overcome so much to become a successful plus size model. I'm sure I won't be alone in identifying with her because it's so true to life.
I love the way the author wrote both characters how they accepted each other. When Miles looked at her all he saw was this beautiful strong successful woman and Julia saw the man beneath the addiction, she sees a sensitive man who could be the love of her life.
If you've read the previous books you will know that Miles book was never going to be an easy read but it was pitched perfectly.
I absolutely love a book that makes you cry! When you get that into a story, you know it's good. I didn't cry once, not twice, I cried more times than I could count. These characters stories broke my heart. I knew from the last book that Miles story was going to be rough but I didn't expect to be near tears reading the epilogue. Yep right from the start! I was an emotional mess!!! Julia had a heartbreaking story of her own. A tough topic to understand because as a mother my mind and heart just don't work that way. This book was written with so much emotion you feel every word. A sad teary eyed prologue, an emotional roller coaster of a story and a heartwarming tear filled epilogue. Such a fantastic story!! I am hoping there is at least one more in the series I want Brocks story.
Loved it. Kathy always brings the best story lines with her books. I absolutely love reading about Miles. I had so many different emotions with this book. But that is what I love about reading these types of books. Being able to feel what the characters are feeling makes the story line even better. Miles and Julia are amazing together. These two go through so much and finally see what is right in front of them. An amazing well written story with amazing characters who have great chemistry. Highly recommend reading this one.
Having read the first two I sped into this one latching right away onto the characters. They immediately begin to wrap around you with their story at times poking at your heart that will send out the signals to the right emotions it wants to mess with. Miles and Julia are not nice they get their hooks in you good and deep with you holding your breath if Miles will keep it together at times. The direction this goes keeps you by their side with realism in their walk. The emotions will drive hard and deep but then this would not be worth half a read if it did not. This ride was one that I devoured lovin how Julia has more character than most women I know. When you lay this one down you will be satisfied and wondering how did that go so fast.
All This Time, Sweet Sin #3 by Kathy Coopmans. I am a huge fan of this author and of this series. I was looking forward to this book since first catching a glimpse of Miles and his demons. My heart broke for Miles and what he went through. I was so glad to see him come out on the other side, ahead. Throw Julia’s past into the mix and my heart was overwhelmed. This book was so realistic that I felt like I was in this book so many times, going through the emotions right along with these characters. I fell in love with this book and series and I can not wait for more.
Miles and Julia’s story will literally pull your heart strings. This emotional pack book will not want you putting it down. I got invested in these two and it felt so real.
You will get all the feels with this book. Kathy brings it all out there in this book. The raw and honesty in this book it just profound.
Goodness Kathy Coopmans... Your broken men have been breaking my heart, but, OMG it just makes me fall more in love with them as those chunks of concrete get chipped away from their heart!!!
Wooahhh I have been loving the Sweet Sin Series. Each book I say "umm this is my fav", then I read All This Time-the 3rd book in the series, holy crap, yupp this one if my fav!!! I LOVE MILES!! Yess back up ladies, this one is mine!! haha
Miles Wittman is the bassist for the rock band Trained in Black!! Gahhh I just love me a good ole' rocker book and this one had me flipping through those pages late into the night and up early again today to fall more in love with Miles..haha
Miles took to drinking after a tragedy happened to him. He went to rehab. He is back now but still has a huge chip on his shoulder. Then he sees her. He remembers her, but not sure how he remembers her. Of course he doesn't remember due to being drunk for years after the tragedy that happened to him. But he sure is interested in her. He even asked his bandmates if they could help him with his memory of the last several years, but they tell him he has to figure it out for himself.
Of course she remembers everything about Miles. Her brother is the band manager for Trained in Black. And now they have been thrown together in a photo shoot together. She is a plus sized model and she is a little shocked at what her brother has asked her to do. Y'all this is probably one of my very fav parts of the book. It was hawt and lots of sexual tension going on at this shoot...woot woot...my very fav!!! lol
I gave All This Time 5 iScream "Miles is mine" Cones!! lol I would actually love to read more about him in the future cuz that is how much I loved his story!! Each book in the Sweet Sin series can be read as standalones I am sure, but geeze they are all sooo good and you get glimpses in each of the past book characters lives, you should definitely read them all!!
Be prepared, Miles and Julia’s journey is one full of heartache, loss, grief and regret…
There were so many emotions swirling between these characters you would think this story would have leaned towards depressing but I found it was the exact opposite. Miles had turned to alcohol to dull the pain of his losses. Julia had been caught in the spiral that his life had turned into and that was the last thing she needed, as she struggled to keep moving forward herself. As Miles tried to rebuild his life, repair fences and move on, what he wanted most of all was…Julia.
“I’m Miles Whitman, and I’m ready to come back from the dead and fine my reason to live.”
I’m not sure where to start describing my thoughts about this heart-touching read. There were so many elements at work that it all blended together into one hurting, hopeful, mix. Miles and Julia had both lost so much yet were surrounded by love and support. Reaching out, they had everything they needed to build on their own strengths and reconcile the past, to look to the future. The secondary characters in this standalone read were new and some familiar yet provided the best foundation to help their healing.
This was another emotionally fueled read by this author and I hope there are more in this series. Marcus definitely needs his own story! Just sayin'....
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, regrets, more pain, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first The Right Direction (Sweet Sin #1) Where There’s Smoke (Sweet Sin #2)
This is Julia and Miles’s story. Miles has been living in the darkness for the last two years. He barely remembers those two years. When he sees Julia again he starts remembering things. But are those things going to be good for him or bad? Just when he might b surfacing from the darkness are secrets from the past about to throw him head first back into the darkness? Or will Julia finally pull him out of the darkness and into the light?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
Finally, we see Miles with his head no longer in a bottle!!! I'm so glad he got help. But as you can see in the beginning of the book, his head is still firmly up his own @ss! Lol. I'm sorry but I can't shake him so I have to say that. Stubborn jerk feels he knows what's best for others!
Sigh.
Julia is "the one that got away" except she was shoved away and treated to front row seats of the train wreck that has been Miles ever since. (Say that 10 times fast!) She may have been willing to put up with it before but the gorgeous plus sized model is down lying down being a doormat.
Trauma and past hurts linger for both of them. Getting over it won't be easy. Ignoring it proves impossible. But together, they can do anything!
This was a very beautiful and emotional read. And the fact that it was a rocker romance made it that much better in my opinion. Miles is so broken & damaged and it truly made my heart ache for him. This is my favorite of the series hands down.
This book was given to me at my request and I provided this review voluntarily.
Julia is one strong amazing woman. Miles is one messed up man. Miles has a lot of baggage. He has been through some messed up stuff. He let his past rule his life for a long time. Julia and Miles have amazing chemistry and an amazingly strong connection. Could not wait to see where this story would go. What an amazing story about second chance’s. A must read.
Kathy has outdone herself with this one. So much emotion! Miles is a mess, on the road to recovery. Jules is a mess, the secret is eating her up. Will these two be able to pull each other out of their holes?
This is another very well written book in the ongoing Sweet Sin series and this time it's Miles and Julia's story.

All This Time is not simply a rock star romance it is a story of hope and inspiration. This is the third book in the Sweet Sin series and is Miles and Julia’s story. It is a crescendo of emotions as a man so broken and wracked with guilt tries to pull himself from the depths of rock bottom. A woman who had been broken in her own way but was so full of light, inner beauty and a huge heart, might just be what is Mile’s reason for living. Their story will grip hold of your heart and soul and at times have you so overwhelmed that it will be hard to breathe. It will have you crying, angry and at a loss to describe the emotions that this story will pull from you. Ultimately it will fill you so full of love and acceptance that it will be worth every moment of heartache. Kathy Coopmans has truly outdone herself with All This Time.
