»She came into my life, turned it upside down, and left. Now nothing was like it was before.
Things were quite different when Mia Angel and I were together. At first glance, she might not look like a typical beauty, but once you got to know her, a goddess was revealed. Whereas my looks were the only thing going for me. Underneath, I was hollow… Only Mia – my girl – had been able to tear down my walls — with love, warmth, and compassion. In her company, I felt like a good man, the first time of my life.«

Without asking for anything, Mia changes Tristan Wrangler, the most popular bad boy in school. The curvy woman sneaks into his heart and captures it. Tristan (although he tries) can no longer defend himself. He drops his walls and realizes that this girl is everything he had never searched for but always needed.
She is his girl.
One Saturday, the inevitable happens. Intimately and with the help of a little alcohol, the two lose themselves completely in each other – mentally and physically – in front of the entire school. Tristan pulls the emergency brake and pushes Mia baby out of his life in an attempt to save her from the greatest wickedness — himself.
But how long can you resist true love?

This is the second Part of The Tristan Wrangler Series.

Don Both, aka Bethy Zimmermann is 30 years old. Her parents are from Prague in the Czech Republic. At the age of 12, her class held a short story contest where she discovered her true great love -- writing. During her schooling and vocational training as a nanny, she wrote throughout the day and drew comics at the same time. At first, she created animal stories, family stories, fantasy stories ... As she grew older, her novels and male protagonists became hotter and hotter and she discovered her other great love: eroticism.
In 2010, she took the big step and went public with her novels. Through her cheeky, provocative, and extraordinary writing style, she quickly gained an enthusiastic fan base. At the time, the young woman won several competitions and prizes -- for example, "Best Fanfiction Author" and "Best Erotic Story".
At the time, her husband's health was declining and the company where she worked as a baker's assistant went bankrupt. Practically overnight, the small family became Hartz 4 recipients (Welfare, unemployment program). In dire straits, the desperate mother discovered Amazon Self-publishing and with their last money published "The unholy Book of Tristan Wrangler". It was a smash hit. What every author dreams about. It has become a bestseller that has since grown into one of the most widely read eBooks on the German market.
Since then, she and her two best friends founded A.P.P. Verlag (publisher), which includes more than 30 successful authors. In the meantime, she became acquainted with the media. Several newspapers wrote articles and she was on television.
Privately, the curvy dynamic woman is committed to animal welfare and the fight against body shaming, while trying every day to do something good. She loves yoga and resides with her cats, her super sweet German Shepherd dog, husband, and son in a small Bavarian town.

Great reads... but....

I HATE cliff hangers with long wait periods. I don’t want such horrid actions by these characters to just go on and on with no end in sight. I get enough crap in my life without living it through my books too. Is the next book going to wrap things up? Are we going to have to deal with yet another horrible cliff hanger? As much as I want to know what happens, I also just want to know that it will finish their story, so I won’t be reading it on the off chance she breaks them up beyond all repair. I truly HATE bad endings and I just have a feeling this author loves bad endings. Life is hard enough. I need to read about happy endings. My husband died of suicide at 49, my son attempted it after his Dad died, I lost my job after 16 years and I’m done with one horrible sorrow after another. I need an HEA.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. Like REALLY. I enjoyed the story in the first book and wanted to see some kind of growth, but I'm left still wanting. I am horrified by the cliffhanger ending and the preview of number three. I just don't get why this was the decided course for the story. All the growth (and it wasn't much) Tristan and Mia had in this story just vanishes with this ending. They learned nothing at all and it's disappointing to read. Many points of this story feel half-finished, and unexplained. For smart characters, their choices, understanding of things and lack of communication are staggeringly bad. I will look for the other books when they are translated, but may not do more than skim to see where they end up.

I really feel for Mia! She has had the worst life and manipulative parents. She didn’t want Tristan to see wear she lives. He has truly changed and wants her more and more. She was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was routing for Mia and Tristan. I thought they would go the distance. The ending to this book was heartbreaking. I see how she put up with so much crap. He becomes her backbone and gives her confidence. People are determined to see them apart. Tristan really loves her and she loves him. He will do anything to protect her, even stand up to her father. I’m going for the next book. I want to know what happens next.

Wow. ❤️❤️❤️

Damn you Bethy

That preview got me all twisted! I wanted more but now I have to wait...and I'm not very patient.
Just when you think the storm has passed, Tristan and Mia's journey sweeps you off you're feet and slams you into the ground. And what an ending! I almost threw my phone because I was angry at how we left Tristan and Mia. But thankfully, it's not the end for them. Tristan has definitely grown on me. He's one of those people, that when he loves, he loves hard and with all mind, body and soul.
Now the waiting game begins.

Good .

Thought it was a very good book. Hope book 3 comes out sooner this one took a while . I loved Tristan family and the girls .my only thing is this story seem to revolve around nothing with Mia and Tristan and the non stop sending . A little over kill to me . That's seems they did it everywhere . As for her dad and what they did it was wrong , but her dad tricked her . And he never had proof it was them if she told Tristan her dad could never proof it. But she is 17 and fell for it . Can't wait for the ending . It should be good .

Unexpected

Not what I was expecting. Almost all drama free. I have to wonder why Mia thought her Dad would do anything other than what he did. She should have known he would not be honest and keep his word. She should he would not simply be satisfied with her not being with Tristan. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Wow

I loved the way Tristan realises that he loves Mia.
Took his time.
What he finds out about her life makes him love her even more.
But nothing can last forever.
