Lori Roberts is an author, educator, historian and presenter for historical events and workshops. Lori has been an educator for twenty years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Social Studies and a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2011, Lori was nominated for the prestigious Guilder Lehrman award.

Lori is a living historian, portraying Mrs. Mary Anna Morrison Jackson, wife of Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson at Civil War events and reenactments throughout the Southeast. She is a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Lawrence County Living Historians, and the Jackson County Historical Society.

Lori is the author of Lost Letters: A Civil War Love Story and Willow.

When not teaching, writing or playing Mrs. Jackson, Lori and her husband, Doug, relax at their home in rural South-central Indiana. They have three children and three grandchildren.
