I held on to my virginity for the first thirty years of my life. But never imagined I was saving it for him…
Dahlia Taking this job with the Dallas Cowboys was the bravest thing I’d ever done. Which wasn’t saying a lot My focus was protecting the players, But I never imagined I would fall for the owner of the team. A billionaire that made my knees weak, Made me feel things I never knew I could feel. But there is something sinister lurking behind the scenes, And I don’t know if I can be apart of it.
Chet I was always content with being the billionaire heir... That is, until I inherited the company. I didn’t know what I was doing, But I knew I had to have her.
This is a standalone novella of approximately 36,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happily ever after. Includes bonus content!
Suzanne Hart is a contemporary romance writer who loves the beach and super hot alpha males to populate it. As a hopeless romantic, Suzanne believes in happily ever afters and that's why all her books end with one.
This book was an ok read for me. Dahlia was a good heroine. She was independent and feisty and stood up for herself. Chet was just alright. I prefer my men to be a little more alpha and in control of his life. I would have accepted his behavior more if he was ten years younger but I thought a man of 40 should have had a better grasp on his life. There were also a few inconsistencies in the sports talk but that didn't bother me too much. Overall this was just an ok read.
This was a good read. Dahlia takes a new job. Here is where she meets Chet. Both of them are dealing with big changes in their life. Luckily they find each other. They have some complications to deal with but in the end it all works out.
Her First Game is unfortunately, a boring, poorly written mess.
Dahlia is the new team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys. She has no idea the culture she's getting herself entrenched in when she starts. When she starts butting heads with the coach, she starts to realize that the football culture views the players as a commodity, with no care about them as humans, with no care about their health aside from how well their bodies are prepared to play. When she meets the new team owner, a billionaire over 10 years older than she, she is attracted, but she has a long time boyfriend. But when she breaks up with her boyfriend, it's game on for Chet to make his move on the woman who intrigues him.
I have a long list of what's wrong with Her First Game, but the first is that Chet is wimp. He's got no clue what he's doing, he lets his mother walk all over him, he lets the coach walk all over him, and he doesn't really go for what he wants until he meets Dahlia. Speaking of Dahlia, she's no more interesting than Chet. She's boring, too, and just as one dimensionally written as Chet. Sigh...this whole book is a big, boring, one dimensional mess. There's no life to the characters. There's no deep, passionate connection between Dahlia and Chet. The sex scenes are cringeworthy and the words used to describe various male and female parts are cheesy. It all adds up to something I had to force myself to finish, and I found nothing good about it.

Making The Team better Dr. Dahlia Waters has been hired to be the team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys but the teams coach and the owner of the team, Chet, don't seem to agree with her in keeping the team physically and mentally well. This leads to conflict and the attraction between Dahlia and Chet sizzles whenever they are near each other. Things go well and they become intimate which leads to the passion to be off the charts. But then the coach's feelings about her interference urges other board members to cause trouble between her and Chet. Then everything she warned them about explodes in their faces when a player is seriously injured. I loved the way Suzanne Hart created Dahlia that she was so passionate about the wellbeing of her clients and not treating them just as a number but looking at the whole person. Such a caring and dedicated person should have been welcomed,. Chet, to me, was a bit of a drip at the beginning and certainly not worthy of Dahlia but he grew on me as her influence seemed to encourage him to follow his conscience and want what was best for his team. There was plenty of lust and attraction between them to heat the ocean. This is a good read from beginning to end and I look forward to reading Suzanne's next book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Dahlia moves from Iowa to Texas to become the sports medicine doctor for the Dallas Cowboys. She has never worked in sports medicine before, but plans to give it all she's got. Chet just inherited the famed Dallas Cowboys after his father passed away. He's not sure how he will fill his father's shoes but he's sure going to try. Dahlia meets Chet and there's definitely instant attraction, but she's pretty sure it can't lead to anything. Dahlia has high morals when it comes to being a doctor and watching the players get hurt, patching them up just to send them right back out isn't sitting well with her. When her and Chet do start dating things become complicated because he is complacent in leaving things with the team the way they are and Dahlia thinks someone should be looking out more for the players. Grab this book and see what happens with these two. Will Chet help Dahlia stand up for the players or just sit back and let things be?
I really did enjoy this story. The only reason it got four instead of five stars is because even though Dahlia wants to stand up for the players, she doesn't stand up for herself and it made me keep thinking in my head "really, you're just going to let that happen to you and not say anything?". It was truly frustrating every time that happened.

I've found this one really hard to rate as I thought it was a good idea for a story but it just didn't deliver for me I'm afraid.
Chet - for a man who is supposed to be 10 years older than Dahlia, he doesn't act it! He doesn't stand up for himself, he lets others influence him and acts like a child emotionally at times (in my opinion). For someone who grew up in the business, he doesn't seem to know or care what he's doing or what anyone else in the business is doing....
Dahlia - Once she decides she wants to sleep with him she changed and came across as oversexed....the man she likes is opening up to her and in her mind she gets sulky as she's obviously not going to get any...er no!
I did enjoy learning about Dahlia's job and seeing Chet become more sure of himself because of meeting her. What I did not enjoy is the book just seemed to finish! What happened next? Did she take her job back? What were the repercussions of Chet's decisions? ?????? For me, the book is incomplete, this in itself has really, really, really, really annoyed me - hence my rating.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This book was about a doctor named Dihlia who was hired to be the team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys. Dihlia left home to move to Dallas and left behind her boyfriend and mother. When Dihlia started working for the team, she really took her job seriously and wanted to treat the players the best she could and not push them too far past their limits. The coaches and other management disagreed with her approach and when the new owner, Chet agreed with them, it became hard for Dihlia. Chet inherited the team after his father died and he was not really sure about what he should do, he was unsure if he should let management continue to do things the way it was always done, or side with Dihlia. Chet also was attracted to Dihlia and wanted to date her, but she had a boyfriend and worked for him. Dihlia didn't really miss her boyfriend and eventually realized Chet was more than her boss. They have to try and work together while having a relationship and not always agreeing. This was a quick read, I thought the story could have been a little longer with a little more detail in Chet and Dihlia's dating. Not a bad read.
Hot billionaire heir Chet inherits an NFL team the Dallas Cowboys but is not sure if this is what he wants and he also has a mother who cannot stay in her lane. Dahlia is the new team doctor but this was not her first choice and she is also a thirty year old virgin (yes it happens, I have met some). When she and Chet meet there is instant chemistry but also some problems mostly due to his not so nice interfering mother and the really shady coach and few other elements that is not so savory. Will Chet step up to the plate, put his mother in check, the coach and clean up what is not good, and will he and Dahlia have their HEA! Well get your copy and find out. Enjoy, Idid!

This story used an unique perspective for these characters. Dahlia is 30 while Chet is 40; they both have issues on how to be adult in their adult personal relationships. Sometimes parents don't want their children to grow up.
Dahlia had the strength to get away from her mother by going to college and becoming a doctor. She relocates for a job and leaves an unconcerned boyfriend. How will Dahlia handle the new job? Chet on the other hand has lived in his father's shadow. When his father died suddenly he becomes the owner of a football team. How will handle being in charge? How will they navigate a relationship? Read to find out.

I received a complimentary copy of this book with no requirement to review. This review is being left voluntarily and any and all opinions are my honest thoughts on this book and the authors work. This is just another Virgin and billionaire book. The only difference is the Virgin is 30 years old. Dahlia, a boring woman and Chet, who has no back bone where others are concerned, story leaves a lot to be desired. The chemistry fell flat and couldn't be felt with the poor choice of words describing it. The character development was poorly put together and what was pretty non existent. I would not recommend this book.

This was my first read by author Suzanne Hart. This was not my favorite book or my least favorite, it was middle of the road.
I want a book to grab and hold on to my attention, this felt forced and lacked a lot of imagination. I wanted more from the author.
This book is about a 30-year-old virgin named Dihila who left her home to go to work for the Dallas Cowboys as the team doctor. Now can you imagine that the Cowboys would hire a team Dr. who knows nothing of the sport, and has never really worked in their field might less for a professional football team, I think not? This was just the start of the unbelievable part. I guess if I wanted Sci-Fi I should start there.
It is a VERY short read and does not make you want more.
HOT!!! STEAMY!!! SIZZLING!!! OMG! Truly a remarkable read with twists and turns that keep you captivated from the first page until the very last word. Unpredictable, stressful, nailbiting, tears, (yeah, I cried), along with a heartbreaking fear that you can't shake. Some hot, realistic, sensual, steamy scenes that you could actually feel the heat from it. I have to congratulate Suzanne on her remarkable talent for bringing her story to life. You'll fall in love with the characters and their personalities as you get to know them. I would recommend reading this to anyone who loves a good sports romance.
I thought I would really enjoy the next book that Suzanne wrote after her great first book. I finished the book hoping it would pick up. It has left me feeling a bit deflated. What is a good premise, didn’t seem to make a “touch down”. The characters needed more depth to them. Their chemistry was lacklustre. This was a difficult review to write. I do not like to write negative comments, especially for a new author. It’s their baby after all. It wouldn’t be an honest review though if I sugarcoated it. Of course this is just my opinion.

A 30-year old virgin walks into a locker room.... Well, not really. It could be the beginning of a joke, however, that a woman in this day and age holds onto her virginity until the age of 30. Falling for the owner of the team was not in her plans, but it was a great time to decide this was it. After all, a sexy billionaire has a lot to offer. It's a decent enough story with a HEA, no cliffy and no cheating. I didn't find the chemistry really hot, but I did enjoy reading this and would read another book by this author.
I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is a story where the hero needs to man up and he doesn't do it until he meets the woman for him.
Dahlia is the new team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys and she is continually butting heads with the coach he sees the players has commodities that need to be on the field she sees them as people who need to be cared for and not returned to the field until everything is healed. When she meets Chet the new owner she feels an instant attraction but will it go anywhere. Chet after meeting Dahlia finally stands up to the coach and his mother but will it be enough . Will Chet and Dahlia have a HEA you need to read to see.
I was given an ARC copy of this book but this is a true and honest reiew
Interesting story that is well written and quite enjoyable. It is an easy read with a well-developed and consistent plot. The characters that are sweet, honest and lovable come from different backgrounds and upbringing really complemented each other in bringing out their true characters. I really enjoyed this book – would have liked a little more look into their relationship, however this did not take away from the quality of the overall story. A recommended read. This book was easy to read and quite engaging. In the end it wasn’t more than 3 stars for me because the time jumps seemed to miss the really intriguing and action packed elements. More background moments were given a priority and that meant that while I enjoyed the book I probably wouldn’t read it again. The book is well written and the characters are great. I really liked Dahlia’s character in particular. It wasn’t really for me but I wouldn’t want other readers to be put off by that. If you like romantic sports set books then you will probably really enjoy this one.
I liked the premise of this book, but I felt it never reached its potential. I was not a fan of either of the lead characters and I can't honestly say which one I liked least. Also without giving anything away, I could not believe that Dahlia would be so uninformed and naïve she would be completely surprised by what was going on. For me this was a fumble. I'm posting a completely honest, voluntary review after reading this book.
Dahlia has taken a job as the doctor of a football team. The culture of the sports world surprised her, but she is a professional and did her job as well as they would let her. She meets the owner of the team Chet and his overbearing meddling mother. This story is well written and had my engaged and hoping Chet and Dahlia have their HEA.

A very well written romance. I like the storyline and plot. Amazing chemistry. A doctor and the owner of a sports club gets attracted to each other. They have lots of chemistry and steamy scenes, but love is not easy. Sometimes you have to fight for what you want. Can they leave their past where it belongs and get their HEA? Characters with nice depth, well described and develops great. A very recommendable story that is an amazing read.

Dahlia is looking out for the player's health, even with the coach, who she always butt heads cause he wants his players back on the field asap. Instant attraction with Chet, different backgrounds. They both had difficulties growing up, his dad was never happy and her died too soon, but Chet & Dahlia still connected. Well writen and steamy scenes, fun read.
A wonderful book about a woman called dahlia who is doctor and takes on a job as a sports doctor, but They treat her horribly like she knows nothing and they want players to keep playing even when they are hurt.
She meets chet who owns the business and they fall in love.
A very hot and sexy book. Such wonderful characters and im glad chet is there for her when she needs him.

the book started a little difficult for me. once more I was good at it, but despite the love story I missed a good conclusion. they declare each other the love and hop end of book. her ex, where is he? the team.? what happens to that? and so on. it was a easy read, but that was it.

She didn't get the job she wanted so she took a job as the doctor of a foot ball team. He inherited that same team but is not sure what he is doing. That makes it a very interesting story because anything can come at you. It is exciting, emotional, suspenseful and so much more. I was given a review copy by book sprout and voluntarily review it.
this book was ok. the scenes are steamy but really it was a typical playboy billionaire type read. when i saw that it was based on using the Dallas Cowboys as the background I actually expected it to be more unique or indepth.
