The Gospels tell the story of Jesus' life on earth, and his teachings. Jesus talks about heaven and hell, and how to avoid hell. He preaches the "Sermon on the Mount," (Matt chapt 5-7).

Jesus dies on the cross and is raised from the dead on the third day.

screw it this counts

(for logging purposes i have been reading a chapter or two a day and am going to end up going through the whole thing four or so times this year, already almost through twice)

NKJV is just excellent. A joy and pleasure to go through the gospels one last time before 2025 and to hear that Familiar Voice calling out to me again.

Read this alongside the Desire of Ages book by Ellen White and it was a remarkable encounter of Christ. Would highly recommend
