I loved this story!!! It was a fantastic read. I never expected Rachel and Russ to ever get together after the way they met. When Rachel saw him talking to a missing little girl, she presumed he was the one who had taken her, so she handcuffed him. Not the best way to start a relationship.

Rachel would have liked nothing better than to never see Russ again, but her chief had a different idea. They had gotten to know each other pretty well when Russ learned his 5-year-old daughter (Lauren), who he had given up his rights to when she was born, was now an orphan. He wanted custody of her but needed to be married to get her. So, to help him out, Rachel agreed to be his pretend fiancée.

I laughed when Russ walked into his house and found the kitchen a disaster. He was used to living alone with everything in its place, so the poor man didn't know how to handle the mess the 2 females had made. They were making dinner and Lauren was in charge of toasting the buns but burned them. Dinner was going to be hamburgers - and pancakes because Laren wanted them.

Emotions run high, bonds are formed and romance blooms as Russ and Rachel work together to give Lauren a loving home.

If you enjoy emotional romance with humourous moments, then you'll like this book.
