Can you say annoying? Spoilers may be ahead

The heroine bugged me so much I wanted to stop reading it but I didn't. The hero annoyed me just as bad. He dated another woman even after he had sex again with the heroine. He didn't think he loved her until the last page. He was such a jerk. It was all about the bedroom. I just didn't like them at all. She married somebody else while she was pregnant with the heroes baby. The divorced after two weeks! He dated the one woman but there was no mention about him being with someone else but I am sure he did. I think he slept with the girl he was dating too. Just not a good book in my opinion. I wish I hadn't read it. It was just depressing. And don't even get me started about the woman who remarried when her husband had only been dead six months. That just bugged me. The whole book did. Not a feel good story.

The story begins with Thane a soldier in Afghanistan dying and requesting his comrades to fulfill his wishes. One of them is H meeting up his sister/his ex-girlfriend/h and her son and giving them a key. The H is an army man turned rancher and billionaire and h is an artist who loves life in city. Immediately there are so many plot holes. There is mention on h's grandfather loosing his wife and letting the ranch go to pieces and the kids on frozen pond and h losing her younger brother who was saved by Thane but lost to pneumonia, Thane's widow marrying their comrade etc., Even despite so many things happening within the first few chapters the book doesn't hook you in. The chemistry between the characters and the narration style of the story with multiple POVs is jarring with the reader trying to also paper through plot holes like The h's family is well off but their ranch was falling apart? She has a close relationship with her mom but her parents let her stay with her grandfather who doesn't look after her or her siblings despite knowing their daughter doesn't like the place as she had been bitten by a harmless snake, her relationship with Thane who is alpha like her dad and she doesn't like alpha males but she is closest to Thane rather than her other brothers who don't interfere in her brothers but lend support! The H is a billionaire but not through his family who are diversified and wealthy but reading between lines he didn't earn any money except from his army career. Though his age is not mentioned, the H joined army young as the h comments about him having grown taller during the 2 years that they haven't seen each other. He is the oldest and his siblings run multi billion dollar family businesses and atleast one of them is married?! Got the plot holes are never ending!!! The ending itself was just abrupt without any compromises from H.

Noah has been in the military for a long time..when he left to go he was in love with Camilla but they ended bitterly as she refused to go to his ranch. While there he is with her brother. his brother wants him to take something home for her and her son..When he takes her her gift she has sent her son off...but he tells her he promised and he will not break his promise...when he finally sees her son and realizes that he is his than they have to compromise..but Camilla is the one doing all of that..Noah is set in his ways and wants what he wants...He thinks sex solves all but it really doesn't..can they get over all the hurdles and make a go of it with each other? Another good babies and billionaires book.

Noah seems most interested in how often he can have sex with Camilla throughout the story, he doesn't show much interest in actually getting to know her wants/needs, just wants everything his way. Even when he finally figures out Camilla has been trying to compromise, while he has not, doesn't really seem to motivate him to try to change. Wouldn't really recommend this particular book
