This book is perfect for people who are curious about a wide range of subjects, but who have a short attention span. It gives very cursory treatment to a wide range of topics, often omitting things such as dates, but serves as a good springboard for doing further reading. Chapter headings listed in the table of contents nicely divide topics into general categories, with article titles listed under each. This is good for picking a topic to read. I would find it helpful if the book also included an index. If I later want to find a reference or want to do further research, I have trouble locating the right article.
The Big Book of Big Secrets is a collection of trivia and historical facts. There isn't much to say about it. I learned some things I didn't know. It works as an introduction if you want to research more deeply into these events.
I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
