Suicidio: Decisión Definitiva Al Problema Temporal: "Para Dejar De Sufrir, No Es Necesario Que Mueras…".

“We don’t pick the books we read; the books pick us”
Suicide is a such a short word but a fully loaded topic. Author Joselius Canales, has done one of the hardest things to do, talk about it and try to encourage readers why not to consider this option. It is a very important and helpful book. The book talks about the reasoning behind this decision and also ways on how to manage feelings and help those who we feel are at risk. Sometimes all people need is someone to listen to because we don't want to feel alone. It is a hard pill to swallow this book but it's worth your time and this could actually save lives. I hope this book gets traction and more people will be able to read it and more lives can be saved.

This book has a controversial name and touches on a sensitive topic for most of us. Suicide is real and through this book, the author allows readers who may be thinking about taking their lives to actually analyze the true value of life and understand why they actually want to take that decision.
The language in this book is straightforward and the author speaks to us in a kind and tender way so that the message is transmitted more quickly than if we had to interpret things out.
I think this is a good book not only for those suffering from depression but also for anyone that would like to appreciate life more and live it to the fullest.

Holy fuck.
This guy literally has 'trauma' over moving 4 times by the time he was 16, (whoop de do!) and his new puppy ripped his favorite teddy bear. Ho-ly-shit HOW did you ever survive?!
Wildest part. This therapist says because of his history of 'trauma' and his ablility to get over it... everyone else should be able to as well......while speaking about a woman that was raped by her brother over a 5 year period!!!!
Can't make this stuff up. What an ego!
Also, this guy who actually has CHILDREN under his care, thinks all children at some point self harm, do drugs, hate themselves and attempt suicide by holding their breaths over being corrected as a child. Running away and threatening suicide for revenge and pity.
Those all point to an instability, a disorder. That's NOT normal. Perfect example of the sick treating the sick. Jesus christ.
Misinformation overload as well. Fact check please. 40 percent of murders are done under the influence. Not 75 percent. Keep your soapboxing bullshit to yourself. You don't like alcohol. Cool. Making infactual statements make you look stupid, and doesn't make the point you think it does.
Also, people who are struggling with their mental health abuse alcohol. It's not the other way around. It doesn't CAUSE THE ISSUE. The issue is WHY people turn to drugs or alcohol to begin with, you absolute twat. Why do you think the programs that work don't focus on the drinking but WHY they drink.
If you need to write another book, you ego hound, have someone else do it. 'Learn to not self-punish ourselves'. Thanks Mr. Redundant. Who else would we SELF-PUNISH??
He also claims women's suicide is more likely to be manipulation or for attention than men who actually want to die. A simple fact check would show its based on the METHOD of suicide and not whether or not women are 'manipulating' men. Fucking pathetic.
This walking abortion literally tries to say that it's worse to know someone that killed themselves than it is to be kidnapped, trafficked, raped, abused as a kid or anything else.
My guy. No.
Don't even get me started on all the HIPPA laws that were broken when the doctor 'friend' of his was talking about his 2 current patients, outside of the hospital, that attempted suicide. This included how, and diagnoses that led to it. Right out there in the open. Both these men should be sued. The ego of this author!!!!!

‘Suicide is this: a permanent solution to a passing problem’ - Wise, caring support!
Psychologist, psychotherapist and author Joselius Canales (also known as Dado) presents a book about seeking help for those contemplating suicide as a one on one conversation - a gentle, quiet, sensitive discussion between the thoughts of those at suicide risk and a therapist who understands the topic completely. He addresses the reader with deep introspection, presenting the thoughts that often lead one to consider suicide and how those thoughts progress to the act, often because the possibility for asking for help has not been considered. His message of support is distilled in the following passage: ‘You need some time to examine some important aspects of your life: the goals you have forgotten about, the good moments you’ve left behind and the bad ones you are going through, your accomplishments from the past and your recent failures and the strength you can recover through determination; reminding yourself that this strength, this self knowledge, once obtained, will become your best defense against your intention to put an end to your life...you deserve to give yourself a gift. This gift is time, space, and compassion, necessary to feel worthy of living. You can only achieve this through introspection, forgiveness; and therefore, through the love of yourself’ Simply stated, this is one of the most pertinent and supportive resources for everyone - for those who have contemplated suicide as well as for families and friends of potential suicide victims. Very wise and very highly recommended.

This is a book with a very delicate plot, it is a topic that I have a lot of respect for and I don't like to talk about it lightly, but rather read or listen to those who know.
It touches on the subject of suicide and the depression and hopelessness experienced by people who try to die. The author, an expert in psychotrauma, maintains that people who want to die do not conceive all the possibilities they have to overcome suffering and are convinced that suicide is the only solution.
This book came into my life by a recommendation just when I had just lived a very ugly experience with someone close to me, and it has been very useful to help me overcome the situation.

What a great resource for individuals who are struggliing with thoughts of suicide. This is a more than difficult topic and sometimes, a bit controversial. The author Dr. Joseluis Canales did a brilliant job writing this book. His piece of work comes across as informative without being overly technical.
This book covers a not so enjoyable topic. It’s difficult to read about people's pain, and frightening for all. But the book itself reads easily and informs.
I have found this resource so helpful and important for both clients and families who are supporting a loved one with suicidal thoughts. I can't speak highly enough of this book but it's an absolutely must read.

'SUICIDE: You don't have to die to stop suffering' is a sinister read. The title of the book itself is so empowering it highlights that suicide is not a permanent solution to any problem. The author addresses the reader with deep introspection, presenting the thoughts that often lead one to consider suicide. Life is all about highs and lows and suicide is not an option even in the lowest of times. Life is all about fighting for survival.
Canales authors the book in 22 chapters each signifying its own morals. This is one of the most appropriate and supportive resources to encounter—a perfect moral guide to all your problems.
