 His Special Treatment For Joanna

Joanna [aka Jo or JoJo] leaves her home small town of Willowdale in Florida to follow her career in New York City. But her best friend, DiDi, has an accident and breaks her leg and so Joanna steps in to help her put an art exhibition on in their home town. It is there that she meets the latest Doctor.  This young doctor has taken over the practice from his dad and he gives 'lady treatment' for those women who need it! Doctor Stud Sturgill runs into Joanna at the gallery and he is instantly attracted to her and can 'just tell' that she needs some of his very special treatment as he 'knows' that she's never had an O obviously due to all her stress that she has bottled up deep inside of herself.  Now guess what happens !!  Whereas his treatment for the other women of the town is cold, his for Joanna is red hot scorching.  Joanna is embarrassed  and rushes out but then he decides that he just must take her prescription to her personally. One thing leads to another and then he leaves on a mission.  He has, however, left a little special 'gift' that's going to make his/her appearance in about nine months.  What will happen to them? Will he come back and they have a HEA? I loved this story although I found DiDi to be a bit of an irritant after her initial introduction.  But Jess Bentley has really done a great job with this endearing and very hot story!  It made me laugh so much and Stud and Joanna are just such fun together. I must make mention of the epilogues are there really completed the story for me. This is a must have story that I will definitely be re-reading in the future as it is just so good! Grab a copy whilst you can!  I received a free reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.

The Victorian cure for hysteria is, well, hysterical. I thought that was a highly unique premise to center the story around. The chemistry between Joanna and Sturgill is charged from the moment they lay eyes on each other. The banter they indulge in is wonderfully snarky and had me laughing for most of the book. I could have done without most of the Didi-dynamic, though. After her shenanigans got Joanna where she needed to be, I was pretty much done with Didi and would have been perfectly happy to never hear from her again in the book. Even though it’s one of the most fun scenes in the story, I thought the resolution comes about a little too easily. I was glad to have the epilogues to expand on the resolution so that I didn’t feel like I was left hanging there. This book was loads of fun and was exactly the break I needed from some of the ‘heavier’ reading I had done recently.

I don't mind the odd suspension of disbelief, but when the entire premise of a book is based on not one but two MAJOR unliklihoods... well, I really don't know what to say.

This wasn't a bad book. It actually had it's moments, what with cute dialogue, good descriptions, etc. I mean I finished it, which is often not the case when that disbelief thing gets to be too much.

A very well written story. Is feels realistic and the characters also fit well together. They are likeable and relatable. The main characters are well described and develops nicely. Their instant chemistry is amazing.

It has a bit drama, steamy scenes, twists, spice and an emotional roller coaster. I like it is written in dual POV because that gives the reader much more of the story. You get the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. I am really one that like to know what happens next, so I just loved the epilogue.

A read that is absolutely worth the time. It caught me from first to last chapter.

This talented author has once again written a wonderful story, which has me totally captivated throughout. When Joanna’s best friend has an accident, she heads back to her hometown in order to open an art exhibition. While there she runs across the new doctor who has taken over his fathers’ practice “Dr Stud”. There is an instant attraction between them, and Stud recognises the stress that Jo is under, and is determined that she will be a recipient of his special treatments. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed, and I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers.

An awesome cute romance with a bit of drama, suspense, twists, steamy scenes, spice and an emotional roller coaster everything you need for a great page turner.  I like it is written in dual POV because that gives the reader much more of the story. You get the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Joanna (Joe) and her best friend Didi moved to New York to escape their small town in Florida, a broken leg later and the non stop page turning begins.  The characters are likeable, relatable and fit well together.  I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review

Wow! Maybe we all need “Lady Treatments”

A really unusual storyline of a small town romance which I really enjoyed. Joanna (aka Joe) meets Sturgill Warner (aka Dr Stud) back in her small hometown in Florida. She has lived and worked in Manhattan for a number of years in a Gallery. Joe is quirky, quite innocent and has never had an ‘O’. By the time she leaves Willowdale 9 days later she certainly knows more about and how to perform her own “lady Treatments” by Sturgill. I would recommend this read for its quirky well written storyline. This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

Joanna ( Joe ) goes back to her hometown in Willowdale to open an art gallery. She runs into Dr Stud who is only trying to help her but Joe is pretty rude to him. They meet again at the opening of the gallery and sparks fly between them. This book was written from both points of view and I really like that, I loved the characters but Didi is a bit of a mean drunk and she’s always being mean to Joanna when she’s drunk. I really enjoyed this story including the hot steamy scenes and a bit of humour in it as well. I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

‘Lady Treatments’ – you’re kidding right? This was a fun, well written story, with a lot of laughs, some steamy scenes and some entertaining characters. I loved Joanna’s snarly attitude when she first met Sturgill. Their conversations were delightful and their chemistry was insta-hot! I also admired her relationship with Didi and how regardless of what happened (or what Didi screwed up), she always stayed true to her friend. There were many feel-good moments in the story and I enjoyed every one of them. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

After taking over his father's practice, he keeps providing a particular service that doctors generally do not provide. And he is also the guy every single woman in town wants to catch. Joe is back in town for a short time to open a gallery for her boss, but she is in a jam because of poor planning by her best friend. When she needs her birth control refilled, she is forced to get an exam she never expected! Joe's best friend is a piece of work that we all start to dislike. Sturgill just keeps plugging along, trying to get Joe and keep the other women at bay, especially his receptionist.

Jess Bentley has another winner if you like Doctor romance stories. Features Joanna and Dr Sturgill who meet each other when she visits her home town and has a Dr visit. Their attraction is immediate and strong. Written in a dual POV so we're able to know what each are thinking. A cute romance with some drama, suspense and twists. Joanna had lived in a small town growing up but now work for a gallery in New York but due to her friend having a misshape she was now returning to her home town for 10 days. Sturgill had taken over his fathers doctors practice a few years ago but some of his charges still saw him as child and other saw him as Dr Stud. Things change for both of them after meeting. This story has a funny side as well as a romance that is very unexpected to say the lest but captures the imagination. Great read.

DR. STUD

what can I say about this steamy book?? It’s definitely up there on the HOT LIST.

It all innocently started when Joanna forgot her birth control pills while on a business trip to Florida. Off she goes to the local GP for a prescription refill. He (Sturgill) likes what he sees and decides that she needs a complete gynecological exam. Next thing she knows, she’s having a Lady parts treatment.

The hottest scene takes place in front of the mirror during his house call (yeah, he makes house calls) and I’ve got to say we ladies need to copy this in our own boudoir’s.

This is a funny, engaging and saucy book. I’d read it again in a heart ❤️ beat.

When Joanna's friend Didi has an accodent, she's forced to return to her hometown to open up a new gallery there. Back in Willowdale she finds herself at the doctor's office since she left her pills back in NY. She didn't expect Dr. Stud to exam her nor to experience a lady treatment. That's one part of the story I found a bit weird tbh. Besides that it was fun to read about Joanna and Sturgil who first agreed to a no-strings fling but somehow are meant for each other.

Joanna and Sturgill's story was well thought out and held my attention from word one. Loved the characters and the way in which they interacted was very believable. The secondary characters I would love to hear more about and see where they end up (and catch up with Sturgill "Dr Stud" and Joanna). Loved the book and did not want it to end.

This story was awesome! It has a dial point of view which I like. The character interactions and sexy scenes were great. The story, the twist and turns kept it entertaining from the first page to the last! The lady treatments were surprising and I don't think I could do that... Lol. A small town romance with just the right amount of sweetness and steam. I really enjoyed both Joanna and Sturgil (just not his name). I loved that slow building of sexual tension between them. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is because I wanted more of their story.

When Joe goes back to her home town to open an art gallery for her employer, she never expected to meet Dr Stud. Likewise, Dr Sturgill isn't quite prepared for his reaction to Joanna.
Loved it!!!
