Privileged Attorneys: Las Vegas Style - Arlene Krieger
We say family is everything, but how far can the thirst for money and power drive a family? Some might say it binds them together to one goal. For this author, that's a big fat lie!

Privileged Attorneys: Las Vegas Style is Arlene Krieger's depiction of how much power corrupts and destroys even the most beautiful things. In this thrilling book, this author walks us through the path of three close brothers all in the same law profession, and a deep desire to win their father's game of riches. It spins around such qualities as loyalty, family, marriage, and of course money.

Bringing it down a notch, this author builds this story on the importance of family and the unity it brings. Richard, Paul, and John were not just brothers but best friends, each content with what he brings to the table. However, driven by greed, their ambitious father put them up to a challenge which caused more harm than he had foreseen. How far must these brothers go to out win the other? How many people are they willing to hurt in their quest?

I loved how this author tactfully put his creative prowess into play, bringing forth an interesting and unexpected twist. I must say, Krieger's ability to keep readers hooked to the pages simply equals none. With a very captivating storyline, this author had my curiosity at its peak, plunging deeper and deeper as each scene unfolded.

I also adored this author's ability to appeal to the emotions of the readers, especially with his use of very vivid details. Krieger was poignantly descriptive in each scene expressing exact feelings, tone of voice, pattern of action, and atmosphere. Therefore, painting a clear image in the mind of the readers.

I must also commend Krieger's use of humor mostly depicted in Paul's four failed marriages. For very funny reasons Paul still held his breath on the success of a fifth marriage.

What about moral lessons? This author did not fall short in this either. She exposed the dangers of unhealthy competition and how deeply it can destroy strong ties. This book also acknowledges the importance of good parenting. So many siblings grow up to become strangers so much that they can't even stand each other. However, The Brothers begged to differ. Their mother, Susan indeed played the role of a strong mother who is willing to stand in the line to keep her family and their families united.

This book not only gave me a thrilling reading experience but also a glimpse of paralegal, litigation law, injury law and so much more associated with the law profession, then spicing it up with romance.

Therefore, to every lover of a good book, do not let this one pass you by. I'm giving it a five stars.

Review

I’ve had a fun and entertaining reading experience with this book! At first, I thought it was such a ridiculous idea for a father to split the brothers apart by making them competitors. It’s never a good idea to involve money in making decisions, most especially if the family is involved, but what made the story interesting was the anticipation of who’s going to win between the three brothers. I wanted John to win, because he needed it the most, but I was satisfied with how it turned out in the end.

I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars. It was an emotional roller coaster with a touch of humor. Every character has a story and personal desire that pulled me into the story. If there is one thing that would’ve given this book a perfect rating, it would’ve been court action. I was expecting full-blown court action, or court drama in this story. Nevertheless, I was satisfied enough to experience a family conflict that instilled realizations into the main characters, and made them understand what’s really important in life. I recommend this to readers who want to experience a family drama with funny moments.
